Mantra's description of the results of Kunlun practice were, based on my experience of enlightenment, sorely lacking for such a claim. That was and is the basis of criticisms of Kunlun that I wrote/will write. When the claim of enlightenment, which for me means the experience of "stripping of ego/exposure of self/awareness of Tao", is removed from Kulun propaganda then my objection to those who promulgate it as capable of such will cease. Tao is Truth. Stop lying about Kunlun. Become closer to the Tao.

As spiritual food kunlun is cotton candy.

I believe this represents the first agreement between yourself and I. I applaud your good judgment in this regard.

Just so I'm clear Chris, who is "this guy" ?

I humbly agree (with you). So simple is the path walked yet not so when described. Amusing that. Suggest just walk it.

mantra, I mean no disrespect when I tell you that in terms of spiritual food, what you've described constitutes cotton candy, based on my experience. Yet in describing it as opening awareness of the Tao, you've pitched it as steak. In my informed opinion, this is a misrepresentation. You've not answered my questions. I'll spare you the burden of being repeatedly asked to answer those regarding your claims of "flow" and "channel", but by all means feel free to oblige us with answers of your own volition anyway. Why I bother to hit the keyboard again is out of my interest in helping others see truth and avoid deception. Out of that interest I ask you again what of which you've offered do you think has any bearing on that which you've claimed of kunlun...paraphrasing cuz I'm just too lazy to chase you around much further than I already do..."...kunlun allows one to see the Tao as it is..."...uhm, what? In your world does thinking you're flying constitute experiencing the Tao? Please explain. I'll again ask that you take an honest stab at this question.... I'm tired, so please forgive my abruptness, but I'm going to strongly suggest that you put down the cotton candy, get off the roller coaster and CONCENTRATE on the questions being asked of you if you're going to continue to be the respondent for claims regarding kunlun. The absence of applicability and relevance of your answers to the questions being asked seriously undermines your, max's and kunlun's credibility in the areas beyond the cotton candy category for which ample evidence exists. So, answer or just dont: what about kunlun has anything to do with spiritual evolution? Until that question is answered I suggest that you sell not that which you don't have. Or present evidence that you do. Cotton candy aint steak my friend. Show the steak or limit your salesmanship to the cotton candy. Respectfully. xeno

Notes from my search for immortality
xenolith replied to Chi kung apprentice's topic in General Discussion
I suggest that you read the thread entitled "Semen Kung, Chi Kung and Crown Center Orgasms"...wish it was called 'awakenings', not 'orgasms', but nonetheless, the method of the great straight upward path is contained therein. Best wishes for success with that which you seek. If you think that I may be of assistance, you're right, just let me know and I will. xeno -
I thank you and you thank you.

Mantra, shall I understand that you choose to not answer my questions?

flow of what? what channel? How? Take a legitimate stab at this one please. Unless its from Max. Then its worth $300? Hmmmm..... sean, I tried to post the following in a separate post but it attached itself to the end of this one....???? Anyhoo, comments... Thanks for the insights/references to physical manifestations of bliss, ecstasy, etc. I agree wholeheartedly with your comments to Michael. I think its important to remind us that enlightenment is both a punctuated state of awareness and an extended (rest of Life ideally!) state of awareness (no less profound, but not so much Ah ha! as it is 'knowing') after the punctuated one. Its important to define which of these we're talking about when we're discussing enlightenment.

Dietary changes for those attempting celibacy
xenolith replied to Cameron's topic in General Discussion
Indeed it is. But this is the way of the ignorati. They construct a prison for their minds, puttying up every crack that lets the light of new awareness in. The greatest sadness comes when the walls crumble, and the light is gone...only the desert of Sangsaric wandering remains. Think Gollum on Mars. Incredibly sad. Let's hope that Cameron awakens to the light of awareness of other possibilities...and chooses to expose himself to them. Peace. xeno -
Thanks for posting that sean. Outstanding dissertation, as are many others on that site. I intend to listen to them all. I'll certainly look into Ingram's ebook as well. Thanks again! xeno

Excellent post mikaelz. I've wondered, and posted similar thoughts. Regrettably, I got nothing of substance in reply. You've received some substantive replies but nothing which addresses the fundamental question of (paraphrasing) "what value is Kunlun towards attainment of enlightenment?" I strongly suspect that there is a not insignificant degree of hyperbole in the Kunlun business plan. Hit the key points...make the ignorati, the fashionably hip and the nouveau spiritual feel as though they're karma can be avoided by making themselves feel "bliss"...and tell them they're now enlightened. And it only costs $300! A fools game. For the fools that buy it and those that sell it. I don't doubt that good feelings, even blissful states are experienced. But until these are credibly shown to have any relationship with enlightenment, i.e. disassociation of the self and the ego, well, I'm going to view the enlightenment claims of the Kunluners as less than credible. Understand that I'm quite willing, indeed eager, to suspend the belief I've just described for anyone who'd show me the courtesy of providing the evidence of a Kunlun - enlightenment relationship. xeno

Dietary changes for those attempting celibacy

agharta's comments regarding the requirement for transforming jing energy in order to avoid stagnation are spot-on. With time one can learn to dip the coccyx into the pelvic cavity and sip chi from the top of the heated jing like whip cream from the top of a double mocha cappuccino! Being on Cameron's ignore list is a Badge of Honor!
