My dear friends, enlightenment exists...it is both a process and the result of that process. Within the thing called Life, the process can take as long as that lifetime or as short as a few moments within it. For the vast majority something closer to the former is the case. As far as I'm aware, while living, there's but one way to experience the result of enlightenment via the latter, instantaneous process. And a very lonely road indeed it is. carlo, The practices described in "The Multi-Orgasmic Man" are antithetical to development of facility with the micro-cosmic orbit (MCO). The practices described in "Taoist Secrets Of Love - Cultivating Male Sexual Energy" are fundamental to development of facility with the MCO. The latter has taught me all that I will ever need to need to know regarding internal alchemy (seminal kung fu) and the surprising manifestations with respect to spiritual evolution that mastery of said allows. I mean no disrespect when I tell you that it's almost certain that you're "front channel" (the "functional" or "yin" channel) difficulties are manifest of non-mastery of the your "governor" or "yang" channel. Be prepared for approximately 10,000 failed attempts at jing control, which as I'll explain, is different than ejaculation control, before you succeed at moving the energy contained within that physiological action to the desired other action of entering (that energy into) the Ming-men (AKA the coccyx). A wonderfully profound question! And one that most initiates have. And thus warrants some discussion. Yes, the sexual energy is supposed to leave the testicles...but no, it can't enter the urethra...that's the natural path and the path of least resistance, but the seminal kung fu practitioner will redirect the ENERGY, thereby removing the driving force from the fluids so that they will retreat to their places of origin and be not expelled from the body. A bit more information is appropriate...sexual energy (jing) is created from mobilization of fluids within the gonads...much more discussion could take place on this subject, but suffice it to say that seminal kung fu is the art of extracting the energy created in this mobilization and moving it away from the gonadal center so as to "un-energize" that center thereby avoiding ejaculation. The energy thus extracted may then be utilized for higher center work...BIG proviso...if one can cool it...distill it (into chi)...meaning, until it's transferable to the sympathetic nervous system...through the Ming-men...which results in charging of the sympathetic nervous system. This charging allows for manipulation of the energy potential contained therein [i.e. between the position of the yang energy of the gonadal center and the position of the ying (chi) pole (i.e. at some location along the sympathetic nervous system)] to do alchemical works such as strengthen the kidneys and lungs, not to mention the experience of being Illuminated through activation of the crown center. Took me ten years to achieve this...distill jing into chi and move it past the Ming-men I mean, took a few months further to move chi to the crown. I'd love to think that I'm SKF challenged and that others could succeed much more readily, unfortunately, what evidence I've managed to collect indicates that my experience is typical and that it's just damn difficult. This is why I find it hard to believe that your "front channel" difficulties are not predicated by a more fundamental difficulty with your "back channel"...I could always be wrong, never forget that(!), but based on my experience, I think that 10,000 attempts is a pretty good estimate of what it takes to learn to make jing run "uphill". Agreed on all counts. And happily so. Your points regarding the transiency of states is very well made. Truly, the manifestation of the Buddha is the REAL goal. I merely offer that the experience of union with the Tao can make all the difference in directing one's mortal existence toward that manifestation...when that which has been seen with one's celestial vision is recognized with one's mortal vision then the Buddha is manifest. The former makes the latter exceedingly more possible! Peace to you as well. xeno

Aiwei, union with the Tao is THE goal of spiritual evolutionary practice. I very much respect your perspective and your kindness in sharing it. Not to mention my agreement with nearly everything that you've offered, but very significant opposition to it regarding two points: Crown center activation is non-shen depleting. In fact, it's union with the Tao. Like I said, THE goal of spiritual evolution. Also, a pelvic orgasm that results in sperm in the bladder IS an ejaculatory orgasm. The ejaculate just went other than out of the body. This is the seminal point of SKF, it's the energy which results from gonadal stimulation that must be mobilized and utilized in order to avoid ejaculation, external or internal! The energy made from the movement and vibration of the gonads can be extracted and mobilized away from the gonad center to work elsewhere through the practice of SKF. With the goal being union with the Tao by means of conversion of this jing energy into it's purer form chi, a much more mobile form, which can be more readily moved by the practitioner. I'm beginning to understand the value of a manual of SKF practice...it'll come.
