Relax Darin, IMO... Great strain is met with great gains when stress relief is employed. You've built a spring that needs only to experience a reduction in ambient stress conditions in order for subsequent efforts to result in propulsion of awareness to levels beyond what has heretofore been encountered. It's true that we can offer but feeble advice on your journey. Because it's your journey. As such, I'd counsel consultation with a teacher only when truly lost. But in that instance it's very important to do so. Identifying that instance is of course of crucial importance. Err on the side of caution and give deference to uncertainty. But forget not that it's your journey and that in order to achieve the most significant of self awareness goals you'll need to release any teacher that you attach yourself to in order for the self to experience the beautiful lonely belonging within the Tao. I hope you'll relax for now. And... (Choose) Love. xeno

spyrelx, While you choose to believe that I'm lying, you'll not understand what I'm saying. Choose differently. Love [which you (and possibly others) may find more understandable as Choose Love]. xeno

So much misunderstanding. So much such avoidable. So sad. Suggestion: Accuse not others of lying.

My dear friend, we are all stuck with words in this format aren't we? When I write of ego subjugation (check your spelling of this word and of words in general) I'm referring to the process of stripping of the ego from the self. Understand that the self is that which is harmonious with the Tao and that the ego is that which is not. Love. xeno

I find this internet custom so illogical...one cannot be unaware of the presence of a PM that has been sent to them. The notifying of it's presence in a thread is unnecessary. Nonetheless, I'll conform in this instance...spyrelx, you have a PM. fatherpaul, All is forgiven and there is nothing to forgive. I encourage you to read and consider my signature in the context of your statement regarding experience and truth. Love. xeno

I'm speaking based on my experience spyrelx. I'm sorry if you're offended by my comments regarding Winn's hypothesis and what I think it indicates about Winn. I'll recuse myself from further discussion of this matter. Love. xeno

Dear girl, find a man to experience Love with and to with practice the mechanics and the mentality for that which you seek. The difficult part is the finding of the man with which advancement in these areas may occurr. I suggest that you practice intense ego subjugation in order to create a steep gradient within the Tao that surrounds you that will draw like spirits to you. Additionally, I suggest that you cease to interact with men on the internet and begin to interact with men that you encounter in Life. Those will be the ones that are drawn in by your ego-subjugation gradient. Look for kindness in those that you encounter as a indicator of simpaticoness. The rest is up to you. Best wishes. What I'm saying is that within subjugation of ego, one need not be concerned with dealing with the monkey mind, because in the accomplishment of the former the latter no longer exists. The result of ego subjugation is union with the Tao. Which allows movement within it. When one moves within the Tao the monkey mind doesn't exist...the spiritually evolved person sees the Tao in all of his/her day to day actions...the passing of one's credit card to the gas station attendant is done with the grace of one who is an element of the Tao. In this matter Winn is presenting foolishness. Based on his presentation, I must conclude that he's not accomplished the ego subjugation required to understand how spiritual evolution is achieved and how moving within the Tao is accomplished. IMO. Love. xeno

Winn should be ashamed. The requirement of subjugation of the ego for spiritual evolution is understood. No allusion to monkeys is required. That element's subjugation is implied. spyrelx, what exactly of Winn's comments resonated for you?

Fear is the root of much (though sadly not all) evil. The currency of religion is fear. Fear is the final protection mechanism of the ego in the face of the self's waking awareness. Beyond which fear has no value. As if it ever did.

Seek not a teacher. Seek to be taught. All that is will oblige.

meow, how 'bout adressing the "reptilian" thing...? Couldn't hurt, could only help is my thought. Either way, keep being you. Love. xeno

I recognize much truth in meow's comments. Tao is all that is. All that is is connected to all that has been. We are part of all that is and all that has been. Experiencing one's self and experiencing all that is are the same experience. It's the experience of your self in context (the lonely belonging). Within this experience is the experience of all that has been. Memory. Cellular. Jing. Cellular memory = Jing...in the words of Spectrum...vewy intewesting! Given that I use Jing to facilitate experience of self (in the context of Tao) and my self is but the expression of an atomic fission chain that has propogated from the Tao, that chain is embedded in my self. Cellular. And is the tool to access that self. Memory. And the Tao. Yep. Jing. Thank you for this contribution Taomeow. I've not understood much of your comments on this and related subjects, notably your "reptilian" association with CCO, which I expect to never understand, but were it not for my ignorance what would I have to look forward to? I respectfully ask that you continue to present us with illumination of such. Love. xeno

How often do you engage in stillness meditation?

The Tao. That which we know. Yet still search for. Love. xeno -
Yes I did. The truth of the matter is that I found chi weightlifting through intuition in the course of my SKF training. Many years later I learned of Tu Jin-Sheng's methods which correlated very closely to those that I'd developed. For the sake of simplicity, ease of communication and out of humility, I referred to what I practice as Tu Jin-Sheng's method instead of as xeno's. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. It was borne out of my interest in helping you without engaging my ego. In order to help me in this regard I'll appreciate it if you'll not ask further questions regarding how I came to understand chi weightlifting. Thank you in advance. Please understand that I'm happy to help you with technique if you'd like. I'm equally happy to be not asked to help. But no more questions about me please. I know nothing about this. I use traditional Taoist semen kung to generate jing which is distilled to chi during the weight training and is then mobilized through the MCO for purposes of healing or spiritual evolution. Indeed. I think he is too. If something comes to mind that I think you'd benefit from, I'll make sure to mention it. I think I've shared the seminal info at this point though. I breathe in during the lift and breathe out during the hold. You're very welcome. Thank you for your politeness. Best regards and Love. xeno

Hi T. Good questions. I agree with your supositions regarding holding and a neutral pelvis. Chi gong exercise is an important precursor to chi weightlifting for at least two reasons, it warms up the the muscles that will be strained, most importantly the BS, and develops the jing energy that will be distilled into chi during the weightlifting training. Simple overhand jelqing is probably the best method of achieving these objectives. Which brings up two important points, training should include roughly equal portions of time spent kegeling against an unliftable (by kegel flexing) training weight and kegeling against a liftable (by kegel flexing) training weight. Liftable training weight is typically about half of one's unliftable training weight. One's deadlift weight is typically about twice one's uniftable training weight. Point two: chi weightlifting is not a end unto itself. It is a means to an end. That end being achievement of CCOs (and of course, the mastery of MCO manipulation that is implicit in CCO cultivation). One can get there without chi weightlifting, but the getting there is accelerated by means of chi weightlifting. It's much like having a bike instead of just your feet when getting to the other end of the county is your goal. Just makes the achievement easier. Suffice it to say, I suggest that you bring the 'CCO stuff' to the front burner. I've learned chi weightlifting from Life. Sorry if that sounds corny, but it's as accurate a response to your questions as there is. With regard to starting, the essential information is simply start. An apparatus to hang weights from is required. A silk scarf works very well. Starting from a dorsal position at the base, simply wrap it forward in a crossing pattern (like a chinese finger toy) until the the tag ends are positioned either at the ventral or dorsal portion of the shaft just behind the coronal ridge of the glans. I prefer a ventral position. Others may prefer a dorsal position. Then tie the tag ends together and attach your weight(s) and you're ready to go! After a jing generating training session of course. Use a low weight at first, 1 lb. or so. Increase weight as your intuition guides you. Once very heavy weights are being used one will likely need to use a different attachment apparatus. Let your intuition guide you in this instance too. And in all instances. Love. xeno p.s. It seems that my link above ("This post") links to post #1 of the CCO thread, not post #14 which I had intended. Not sure why. Anyhoo, now you know.

I've not seen the video. I'd rather respond to specific questions than make general comments, but I will say that the practice has facilitated much spiritual evolution. I consider it essential to my practice. This post explains much of why. Love. xeno

There's this, which refers to chi weightlifting as an advanced form of iron shirt kung fu which employs straining of the scrotum for marrow cleansing. I've practiced chi weightlifting in the Tu Jin-Sheng method which employs straining of the penis (and all that it connects to) for many years. Should you choose to ask questions regarding my experience with it, I'll happily answer them. Love. xeno

Great disadvantage in life is a great gift to the spirit. Within disadvantage lies ego subjugation. Within ego subjugation lies discovery of self. Within discovery of self lies evolution of the spirit. Within evolution of the spirit lies union with the Tao. Rejoice in your disadvantages my friends. And evolve. Love. xeno
