  1. Why Taoism is different

Paging Ms. Meow: understand that "absolutely correct" is a very, nay sooooper doooper, rare occurrence...suggest you consider alternatives. And that you choose outcomes other than those directed by very angry spirits in your dreams. More Love to be found there... . peace pal, xeno
  2. sacral chakra overactivity

Love to mat black and Spectrum...wisdom...extraordinare.
  3. Why Taoism is different

TM, have read Ms. Tedlock, understand ignorance based female mythology. Boring.l Don't know what to say about your dreams...s'ept, guess you aughta follow 'em...but FWIW, mine is not idle curiosity. Kindly request you reconsider sharing your experience. compassionately seeking wisdom... xeno
  4. Why Taoism is different

Don't magnify the task. Perhaps should have better directed my inquiry...as I'm REALLY disappointed...and sorry...about where this thread has gone...devolved in fact it has IMO. My curiosity is not about societys' imagined mystical powers founded in ignorance, it's about individuals' genuine abilities founded in truth. Any information along these lines?
  5. sacral chakra overactivity

Grateful am I for not having heard such.
  6. Why Taoism is different

Tell us about menstruation so that we may be relieved of our ignorance. If ignorance reduction in this matter do you care about. Bet you don't. Demonstrate otherwise. Please.
  7. Please pose your question(s) (or answers ) as to a simpleton (close to the mark will you be!)...forgo context, background, etc. I do think most answers to most conceivable questions are in this thread already...but I love to discover my misconceptions! FWIW, about 3500 days of SKF it took me to pass the jing distillate (chi) past the ming-men...frequency of emission during that time variable but low (~100 days per is probably about right...definitely much more early on) until said accomplishment, then zero for about 3 years...much progress made...variable since then...I cycle hard practice during which none, with soft practice during which limited some...strive to keep visceral lessons of hard phase in mind during soft phase...so subtle are the lessons forms there. May undergo extended hard phase later in Life, certainly when first whiff of Death doth present...fool would I be to not. But I ramble...apologize...please pose your inquiries. kind regards, xeno
  8. You say it as though its a trivial thing. And yes, that is the point of the practice exactly. But its a profoundly non-trivial thing.

  11. K?

Plants of the Gods...great book...remember jumping the wall of the tortoise display at the Santa Barbara Zoo to slice a coupl'a feet of San Pedro cactus in order to make some jungle tea in '87 based on info from that book...backpack got a coupl'a stares on the way out, but damn fine tea it was...snakes, bright blue and green lights I recall...not much else...but lotta good trips based on inspiration from that book. The inquisitive will naturally be drawn to experimentation...with drugs in particular...cuz the results are so interestingly analyzable...the less interested in analysis of said may miss the conclusion that drugs serve primarily to distort reality...the logical conclusion to which is that reality goes bye-bye when drugs go in 'ya. Since Shakyamuni tells us that reality is the means of our spiritual ascension, it would seem to those that consider the Buddha attribution of merit that drugs may be unproductive for the purpose of spiritual advancement. Me too. I could say more, drawing upon my Life experience, but I think it best that I don't...the truth belies belief. Peace friends. xeno
  12. Drug Induced Enlightenment?

...wonderful comment. True, but not entirely based on my experience...for what its worth...my experience with CCAs (crown center awarenesses), which release DMT, has been that the awareness of said experiences and, and this is the important part, the insight of said experiences, is damped by the duration of time which passes from it. I have to presume that this is due to a combination of spiritual failings on my part and the cumulative influence of the societal world that exists outside of them. I'd like to think that the latter is more responsible, but ultimately, I know better. Not like a drug experience which are (in my experience) recollectable for brief and discreet highlights of longer, apparently substance induced memory handicapping experiences. CCAs are exquisitely recollectable in every detail...the beauty and majesty of the Tao is humbling beyond words, as is the simultaneously overwhelming sense of loneliness and belonging...I strongly suspect that there is some "normally" not utilized neurological communication along rarely used pathways between cerebral hemispheres that accounts for the simultaneous sense of revelation yet familiarity...it's only one's mind informing one through it's own (albeit remarkable) neurochemical mechanism after all. The lessons learned are...no other way to describe it...mind (read:awareness) altering...and this is my point...the altering, in my experience, is temporary, and diminishes with time from the experience. I know that this is why the Holy One's retreat to cultivate self sans worldly influences. For now, I'll continue to seek to achieve "within society" constant Bodhisattva awareness without, or if need be, with the aid of CCA reminders . Offered with the sincere hope that the information is of use to some, or one. But blessings to all. xeno
  13. Blessings to all. No more from me will this thread see.
  14. When personal attacks present thought has occurred. How unfortunate (for the spirit of the accuser) that the thoughts are personal attacks. freeform, yours alone of the recent ones may be perceived to be a constructive comment...many things may be taught by many teachers, but about you is taught best by you.
  15. Quite odd that persons on a Taoist website would think that all that was necessary for spiritual advancement was not contained within the experience of the self.
  16. Allow me to recant, I don't know. Point is there is no teacher that can teach you more about you than you can. Later peeps.
  17. Old and boring this. Either have no clue of the nature of your self and seek assistance...Kunlun and Mr. Max may or may not be be good avenues for said...I think not, but know with certainty that there are plenty of similar avenues with less pimping...or, far better, have a clue about your self and pursue knowledge of your self...seeking to learn as much as you can from you about you. It's that old fork in the road dilemma...choose your self or choose the self that the one whom you choose to reflect you upon you chooses to reflect upon you. Choose wisely, the path behind you disappears. Life is too important to abdicate the pursuit of knowledge of self during it to others. BTW, humility precludes discussion of pedigree.
  18. Iron Crotch

Yup. Product of SKF practice it is.
  19. Tibetan Book of the Dead

The "Great Straight Upward Path" of the Tibetan Book of the Dead is crown center orgasm. DMT is released in these as well. The magnitude of commitment to it's cultivation and the concomitant magnitude of its rarity of occurrence are well described therein. Greatest book ever written IMO.
  20. Why Taoism is different

Very well said. Spiritual evolution is not possible until one has exercised their (free) will by embracing their karma. Understand, the greater the karmic debt paid...and the only currency is suffering...the greater is the liberation of the spirit from it's karmic bonds. A liberated spirit is an evolving one. Therefore, know that great suffering is a great blessing. This the Siddhas knew. Some sought it out in order to more enable their spirit's evolution. Again of their own free will. Advise simply to embrace your suffering...and smile in the knowledge that you are...well upon your path.
  21. S'pec so. Bloom out = bloom in. Most insightful post from the femalia far as I know. Muchas gracias hermana.
  22. Why Taoism is different

Understood, but again, I hope for you a recognition of that which Siddhartha did. I feel that four times is getting to be a bit much...so I'll now recuse myself from further commentary. Be well upon your path.
  23. Why Taoism is different

No such thing as impersonal Love. You know well about personal attachment. Ian's description is spot-on. Siddhartha sought and succeeded to inundate his self in sensuality, ultimately finding it's limitations. In that sense, it was of tremendous value as the signpost of the dead-end that it was for him and the catalyst to turn his attention in the direction of spiritual growth and ultimately the transformation that his Life is known for. I simply hope for you that you will recognize the signpost. Said now three different ways...all offered with Love.
