  1. Scotty wanted me to post this for him Hey Taomeow, It is interesting that we had one person "guess" the exact number! I don't know what the odds are of someone guessing it...there are 1000 options, but multiple people can guess the same incorrect numbers, meaning the odds aren't 1/1000 but even worse. Less than 50 bums participated, meaning the chances were slim compared to if 1000 people participated, for instance. Pretty impressive. I emailed my answer, 639, since I couldn't post it here due to being suspended. Felt quite clear about it...in fact, I still feel (strongly) like the embedded energy was more like 639 than 693, lol....but that's just my personal interpretation. You guessed 36 (two of the numbers contained in the answer). Pretty good. I think a few others picked something similar, where the correct numbers were in different order. 6 people guessed a number within the 600s, which was the second highest picked hundreds-group. The first highest picked was numbers below 100; at least 10 people chose that group. So that is revealing something. When I picked up the numbers, I only got the first two clearly. So maybe there was something going on with that, which caused people to choose numbers below 100. (Side note: I also naturally picked up a 700 number at first, then second guessed and tried to tune in more...so maybe there were some layers to Ya Mu's choice...or maybe not) The way I see it, people here were picking up on A LOT in this guessing game. Way more than I expected. On the other hand, we could've been much more accurate :-) Not going to be too useful of a skill quite yet, except maybe for Tactile. Something to consider is that there was a cast intent upon YaMu's part that someone would guess it. Compared to the lottery, where perhaps the intent of the lottery company is for no one to win, so the company can earn more? Also compared to your phone number, which I don't think you want random people knowing...lol. Peace, Scott
  2. well i hope he rips it to AVI before he does! edit: nevermind i guess our nen eye had gunk in it

  4. Oh Fuck Yeah! Get Laid or Die Trying, BITCH!

hahaha you realize you don't need seduction techniques, not even the quality ones, to do this, don't you? sure they do. I'm a natural, and i know exactly what i'm doing, and i don't do that creepy stuff. So there goes that theory. yes, but unfortunately there seems to be a creepy trend that speaks for itself. These gurus just don't have a developed sense of integrity. I get a strong sense that a lot of them have personal problems. Beats me, but anyways, yes, i know what seduction techniques do. if you're going to engage me on this topic, please don't waste my time by twisting my words. I did not say that men should be sex toys, i said they should cultivate good bedroom skills because the confidence that this brings is naturally and organically attractive. ??? Seduction techniques are not the only way that a person can learn to listen and relate to people, they are just one way, and they are not the most natural way is all i am suggesting. In other words, just because you CAN do something doesnt mean you SHOULD do something well i think starting with just basic bedroom skills is a good way to build natural confidence, so there are a lot of infos out there about how to be a better lover, all of which is good in my opinion. I'm reading The Good In Bed Guide To Orally Pleasuring a Woman right now, and i recommend that. But i recommend using a search engine and following your instincts! Beyond that, look into semen retention for starters. The best introduction to daoist bedroom arts that i can think of is probably Dan Reid's "The Tao of Health Sex and Longevity"

hahaha the fact that they achive the same ends does not make them the same thing. there's really no way i can imagine to do the exact same thing as actual listening to someone and appreciating them in the moment, simply for the sake of doing it, without actually listening and appreciating. You can fool yourself into thinking your spontaneous because youre quick and have practiced your wit. But the main difference (one among many) is that when you are just natural and yourself, you are doing things for the sake of doing them. When you are trying to "kick game" or employ neurolinguistic seduction techniques, you are doing things (yes manipulative things) for the sake of the outcome you will generate with your manipulation. hahahah yes one is honest in that sense, while the other in the same sense is "dishonest" although thats your word not mine. mine were insincere, manipulative, hypnotic, etc. its not insane mr zhang, its just the difference between being-in-the-moment and being-removed-from-the-moment. Sure some people are naturally flirtatious, and do the same things that other more flirtationally challenged guys have to scheme and ponder to come up with, and yes, i would agree with you, in that case, if you do it without layered knowledge of it, just acting according to your inner nature, it is spontaneous and honest insomuch as its true to yourself. But if you have a goal, like to hypnotize someone to have sex with you, or to "decrease their perceived worth" or whatever that rhetoric is, and you are following predetermined steps, you are taking yourself out of the moment, cheapening what could be a beautfiul experience and replacing it with something far more contrived. one more thing, for clarity's sake: i'm not against seduction, not at ALL hahahah if you knew me you would fall down laughing. im just against manipulative and creepy seduction that doesnt actually value the partner except as a number on some chart of conquest that you can compare with your NLP seduction buddies... thats creepy to me, thats all. But i'm one of those people who does value spontaneity and integrity. heheh insane indeed

Hi snowmonki, thanks for your thoughts. Very helpful insight into the idea of packing qi. As to the purpose of working with LDT rotations, i will only say the words of Damo since i don't know myself. He makes an analogy of a water wheel which drives the circulation of qi through the meridians and vessels, so as friend said, the natural rotation is slow, but one can increase circulation by rotating the LDT, and even "drive" the process of MCO by means of this rotation.
  7. Oh Fuck Yeah! Get Laid or Die Trying, BITCH!

I think it works on shallow women with poor self esteem. And there are plenty of them around, so if a person just wanted to bed women for sport i'm sure they could get up to a very high quantity of women. But the quality of the experience would be in question. Then again, a lot of guys just want a nice warm hole to wiggle their bits around in til they're done, and never really think about what they're doing beyond that. Once you start actually thinking about what you're doing and the consequences of said doings, I don't think that cheap seduction techniques really fit into the same life as spontaneity, or more importantly, integrity. Realizing that the energies which you give out come back to you in some way inevitably makes techniques that cheapen a persons value in order to fool them into thinking that you are somehow a desirable lover rather undesirable. Again, why bother with all that contrived manipulation when you could spend the same energy just listening to a person, making them feel heard and valued for what they have to say. What kind of crazy woman wouldn't be turned on by being sincerely listened to and appreciated by someone? All the people who cultivate manipulative, hypnotic, insincere techniques in order to get women to get naked with them SHOULD be spending their time practicing their bedroom arts so that they are AWEsome lovers who can actually last an awesome long time in bed, and more. That mastery alone gives a man a natural confidence that women find very very attractive, and will actually want to call you again to get some more of! Soooo much better than one night stands with women who realize the next day that they've been duped by a zero into giving it up! WTF are these seduction coaches on about i wonder?!? Learn some real daoist arts and leave that stuff to the boys is my 2 cents.
  8. Me and myself

i'm glad that is working for you, a lot of people here seem to like it! I do different chakra work but inner light is awesome love it! my family doctor growing up was a homeopath.. my godmother is a homeopath.. i have always been surrounded by homeopathy, and i love it also love it, do it every day im surprised at how much TTB adds to my daily life. I didn't expect joining would be so neat got a link you like?
  9. Oh Fuck Yeah! Get Laid or Die Trying, BITCH!

or you could honor the feminine. And spend the energy you could have spent being manipulative and trying to read people in spontaneous enjoyment of someone's company. that usually puts people in a really good mood. And as anyone who has ever run around trying to put their dick in someone else knows, putting them in a good mood first is always a good thing. but i'm not a fan of NLP seduction gurus.. i've never seen one who i think is making the world a better place.

  11. Me and myself

i have eaten san pedro in the presence of 15 other people who had eaten ayahuasca, and had ayahuasca visions as a result. (There was a shaman presiding over the ceremony btw). The cactus was very nice to me and i didn't purge or feel sick at all. It took my hand and walked me to a warm happy healing place and said don't do any more power plants you don't need them anymore. So i haven't since then. That was 3 years ago. Thats the closest i ever came to ayahuasca. I can agree it was very healing for many who used it, but for me it was a different experience kind of a gatekeeper to get away from entheogens. Different for everyone of course. Prior to that i used psylocibin mushrooms and mescaline cactus to heal from a lot of trauma. So in my own way i agree with you. I am just taking detailed notes now on a method outlined by Damo Mitchell in Daoist Nei Gong called Sung Breathing. There isn't much information about it via web search, and he says its an "indoor" method passed down only to indoor students. It involves a series of intentions, visualizations, and motions designed to root out pain and habitual tension in the muscles, tendons, fasciae, etc. I have done it once, and it was effective. So i am taking notes as i said. Maybe it will lead to great healing for me, i have to practice it more to say. I would like to hear more about what works for people when it comes to healing deep trauma too... i suffered a classic angry abusive alcoholic father who did a good deal of damage to my psyche during my formative years. Thats all i'm really gonna say about it, it was ugly, and i could tell horror stories but i won't. I am intent on healing, and thats all that matters to me now.
  12. hey thats MY number! hahaha maybe we'll both win great minds think alike
  13. Me and myself

I see in your comments only criticism, what do you advocate? What level do you approach healing from? when it comes to healing from childhood traumas and energy/mental blockages, that is? or any level you want to get into for that matter. Nothing personal btw, genuinely curious. I've healed immensely w chakra work, and my girlfriend has healed, and healed me, with reiki. I also find the internal organs/emotions map to be accurate and helpful. So i don't understand what you're saying
  14. Me and myself

neither are chakras. i was waiting for someone to say it

Thank you mjjbecker, very informative, i appreciate your comments on packing qi into LDT. That helps me understand why it works when i do it. I also appreciate Michael Lomax, and just posted earlier today that it made me so happy to see the reports of the distance healing that he and his students are able to perform for people who are suffering. Really wonderful, and i'm sure i would benefit from studying it. Right now i am just learning my basic foundation, being a qigong & neigong beginner. So i appreciate all the feedback i can get! Thanks

  23. lower dantian theory by Damo Mitchell

Thanks cheya, Mitchell doesn't give practices so far about How to breathe qi in and out, but 2 points to that 1. im only partially through the book 2. i think he's pointing less at a practice and more at a concept, which is don't "hoard" qi, or think poorly of letting it go, that would be like never breathing out. theres probably a lot of practices to breathe different qis in and out in different ways. I practice bone breathing, which involves breathing bright radiant qi in and stagnant qi out, kinda like breathing air. I think thats a good maxim to follow, good in, bad out. As to the rotation, he only really mentions the horizontal axis, but i think he is talking about it in reference to the microcosmic orbit. I also think he is saying that that is the Natural rotation of the dan tian, without any help from the conscious mind. It makes perfect sense that the dantian could rotate on the taiji pole or in any way the the intention and mind moved it. Its a vortex of energy that has boundaries but i've never heard of it being "fixed" on an axis. I think Damo is saying that moving it around with the orbit helps energy circulate, thats all. He doesn't mention any other rotations though (so far). My girlfriend said that Mantak Chia mentions circulating the dan tian on a horizontal axis forwards and backwards nine times each and then letting the energies rest but I don't remember reading that. Then again, i don't really have a preference for Mantak Chia. She said she read that in one of his MCO writings, but she wasn't sure which one. Thats isn't very helpful, i'm aware, i just thought i would mention it in case it sparks anyone to clarify! So far i haven't seen training of methods to rotate dan tian, but as it is a field/vortex of subtle energy, i think just using the minds visualization and the intention to do it kind of speaks for itself. I hope that helps clarify, and i will post a link to the book on amazon so if you are interested you can buy it. Just talking about scholarly study (not practice), i have read a moderate amount of meditation and energy work material in my life, no expert, but not ignorant, and i do highly recommend this book as being helpful. http://www.amazon.com/Daoist-Nei-Gong-Philosophical-Change/dp/1848190654/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1320010213&sr=8-1 right now new copies are $16 and used start at $19 (huh?)

I'm not sure i understand your questions, but i'll do my best to try to answer taiji isn't a substance its a trancendental concept of nonduality. its made of yin and yang and the oneness of the unity thereof it resides everywhere, its like a principle that is evidenced in its own way in all things why should it rotate makes no sense to me... why should it not? everything rotates from atoms to planets to galaxies i don't see the sense in asking "why" things rotate, they just do. Or for a scientific take on things, centrifugal/centripedal force combined with gravity and momentum.
  25. I really appreciate reading about the distance healings, it makes me very happy. Thank you for sharing. Bless you!
