  1. Hi 3bob, Yes, as I mentioned in my post above to IW, in a true light transmission the "being" knows that the light is really just flowing through. The transmitting being is really more like a filter that can "point" the light. The greater the clarity of the being/filter, the richer (or more powerful) the transmission. From your words though, we may have one point of disagreement. In surrender, a Christian master (or Christ) becomes a "child of God". The master does not "cease", but continues as sort of a unique subset of God (in God), with My will = Thy will.
  2. Also, very interesting on the baby formation. Are there Taoist references that also describe the 8th chakra? I had always seen it as more a yoga term. Some traditions also sometimes call it the "inner heart".
  3. Hi r v, In recieving a light transmission, the most important thing is having an "open heart". It is really a surrender and letting the light flow in and sort of do its thing. Jesus talks about it often as being like a child. A good example is like when a young child goes on a trip with a parent, they have no idea where they are going or what will happen, but they hold their parent's hand with full trust that it will all work out. Any cultivation work which helps break down the ego structure is very helpful, as it increases clarity and natural openness. Sometimes energy work can be problematic as it can lead to sort of a "spiritual ego". In particular, many astral people and healers start strengthing aspects of ego with "what they do" or "how I cure/help people". But all meditation activities are generally positive. Regarding knowing in advance the light impact... A master knows whether there is the capacity to receive or not, this is often why you hear stories about masters/gurus sending students away many times to work on basics. But, the depth of shift is truly dependent on the openness of the receiver. In a true light transmission, all that is the master/divine being is included. If one is completely open, in that one transmission it is possible to go all the way to the same level as the divine being. But, such a thing would require "infinite surrender". Surrender is easy to talk about, but when it feels like your body is rearranging and you are being zapped with a million volts, it is very easy to flinch...
  4. Hi MooNiNite, I guess it depends on your definition of a celestial body. In most traditions I am familiar with, a celestial body is percieved as a form of "light body", which allows one to sort of pop around consciousness/existence. In the completion stage, one is breaking it down further into the components of light (rainbow) and then integrating into consciousness and then primordial awareness. Depending on the approach, it is said to take anywhere from one lifetime to 3000.
  5. Hi IW, I think we are saying pretty much the same thing. Obstructions in individual beings in consciousness/universal mind are things like issue and fears. Basically, stored memories with attached automated ego responses. Issues/fears are sort of like stored energy structures in the energy body (mind). In a mind transmission (or healing), one transmits on their current "frequency range". The less the mental obstructions, the greater the clarity, the broader the frequency range for sending (healing). In a light transmission, the sending party "knows" there is really no separate person and just directly shares presence. Also, knows they are one with consciousness and hence "skips" the concept of local mind or being, and just lets the "light" directly flow through. It happens in the "inner heart" or soul to soul. Best, Jeff
  6. Hi intentwielder, What you are describing as "casting" at a chakra level is what I would call a mind level transmission. In later stages of development, the chakra system collapses into sort of a "unified field". As the field grows, it is often called a light body. The later stages of the light body allow for light transmisissions or directly sharing presence in oneness. In your casting, do you sort of directly "go to" the person recieving the casting? Or, do you (and group) sort of give the intent up into God/consciousness and then let it unfold? Thanks for the discussion, Jeff
  7. 50 Jewish Messiahs & Who Invented Jesus?

Hi SonOfTheGods, I am confused as to what you are attempting to argue about. Are you arguing with the chosen set of books of the early Roman empire/church? The origin of the Old Testement? Or, as to the existence of Jesus? Thanks, Jeff
  8. Christian Mysticism

Don't worry, it was just a brief intermission in the story to allow everyone a chance to get some popcorn (or go to the bathroom)... We still on for the Gnostic gospel review? We could also start with the Gospel of Thomas. Though not canon, it is pretty universally accepted. Or, does anyone have another topic?
  9. Hi 3bob, In my case, it was more that it is just a busy Saturday... Also, I would agree with your broader point. Taking responsibility (or being a co-creator) is definitely a component of Christian mysticism. It may sound cool to have the power to fight a demon, but then you will be expected to fight a demon.
  10. Christian Mysticism

Relative to my side reference about chapter 11, it does not really matter. In the specific section, Buddha talks very briefly about the "two tower" Buddha, which is his "partner" in helping in the growth and development of beings. You can also think of it as an "in the system" Buddha. Since the topic is beyond the scope of our thread, I will leave it to you to potentially draw any direct comparisons. Though, discussing the Lotus sutra might be fun for the Buddhist forum...
  11. Cliteracy

Obviously must have happened not paying attention in your own Christian mysticism thread... 115. Mary said to her disciples, “You have heard of the ascension of Enoch. When he ascended he became male and female, and the male entered into repose and the female moved to run and return..." Stop laying around and go find it...

Hi Cat, The sacrificial lamb is the description of the sacrifice of a perfect master as being a "conduit for light" (or power of God) in the world. It is also another name for the High Priest of Melchizedek. Until the coming of a Christ (or High Priest) into a world system, there is only limited empowerment (or light of God). In gnostic Christianity it is called the ability "to call upon the 144 Names of God". As a limited "living being", only Jesus walked with the Divine powers in the Christian lineage. Through the sacrifice (of the lamb) and completion in the resurrection, Jesus becomes sort of the "network" connecting to the higher levels. This allow the disciples (and lineage followers) to receive the Holy Spirit and these Divine Powers in full. This is what Jesus means when he says he will send a helper and greater miracles after he is gone. p.s. For any who are interested... On this point, I would also recommend reading chapter 11 of the Lotus Sutra about the twin tower Buddha.

A pure manifestation arises through the energy of the elements in their subtle and luminous aspect, while our karmic vision is based on their gross and material aspect. To receive this type of manifestation, it is therefore necessary to have the capacity to percieve the subtle dimension of light. ----CNN I would suggest that those wishing to know the truth of Jesus will find it (and him) in the "subtle dimension of light".
  14. Hi r v, Yes, the sharing of presence definitely can feel... "Alive, fresh, crisp"....And much, much more...
  15. Yes, that is actually what a transmission does. Light/energy "hits" an obstruction (fear or issue), which causes it to be noticed by the person. If they face it, accept it and let it go, the energy structure is dissolved in the energy body. There is then no automated response (ego) on that issue. If the transmission also provides peace/clarity, it becomes easier because the dealing with the issue happens in a heightened state of mental clarity.
  16. Hi 3bob, For what it is worth, I have found many "divine beings", but I have never found a "God, the Father". It may also just be the way that I conceive of the concept. Regards, Jeff
  17. Hi Cat, That is very much the case. In a transmission, one is sort of broadcasting on all their available frequencies, so the "receiving" person is getting hit at both conscious and subconscious levels. What I was describing was more the initial experience of the event. But if a person/being is "obscured" about something themselves, they cannot pass on anything in that range to others. In a transmission, it kind of like the person/ego is the block or filter of the light that is being transmitted. Anyone who is at the light transmission level will always talk about what "flows thru", rather than what they "sent".

The new thread was just posted. Feel free to ask questions.

What about trying to use all three like MH did with the TTC? If we go one verse at a time, it should not be too hard to pull them together. Also, the first version that I shared is said to be orally passed down with the Sophian gnostic tradition.
  20. Christian Mysticism

Hi Cat, Did you want more details then I described in post 132? I have to admit that I was surprised that I did not get any followup questions on my statements. Also, since we seem to be starting a new thread regarding the Mary gospel. Maybe some would be interested in the concept of both light & mind transmissions in mystical Christianity? Best wishes, Jeff
  21. Christian Mysticism

    Sounds like fun.
  22. Christian Mysticism

It is pretty long and I think we may lose some of the group. As a possible starter, what about The Secret Gospel of Mary? It is formatted like the Gospel of Thomas with a little over 200 statements. Here is a link below... http://www.sophian.org/secret_gospel_of_mary.html
  23. Christian Mysticism

I think that is a very good idea, because it also touches on the importance of the "Divinine Feminine" in gnostic Christianity. (p.s. or for those who are familiar with the Lotus sutra... The "other" Buddha that Buddha talks about... Ok, back to point Apech. ) Sure, as a quick aside... Actually, I had never even thought of the idea of contacting a divine being until a Hindu friend asked me to take her to Krishna. He first felt like a cool molten lava. Very solid feeling. Buddha has a very powerful zig-zag energy feel, almost like there is nothing ever constant. Angels tend to feel like various intensities of "light". Higher ones can be very hard to stay with for very long because of the brightness. But, angels are helpful in that they are usually special purpose beings and easier to get specifics from, where divine beings mostly help you with obstructions/issues/fears. Also, as clarity of the "inner heart" grows, the relative experience calms down and the level of integration/merge increases. (edit - iPad format posting issues)
  24. Christian Mysticism

I know what you mean. Even though I grew up a Midwestern Christian, I did not feel an early natural affinity with "him". For me, it may have been some deep conditioning that it was somehow not appropriate (or unchristian) to try such a thing. My first "oneness" contact with Jesus was like being zapped with light/energy for over two hours (very intense). Others get even more interesting... If you are reaching out for the first time to a divine being, I would recommend a "female" (opposite sex) divine being. There is a natural male/female dynamic that often makes it easier to get a deep connect. In the Christian tradition, both Mary and Mary Magdoline are very good.
  25. Christian Mysticism

Yes, along with other divine beings.
