Hi Golden, Why exit the forum? Also, I found your comments above interesting. Can you give any examples of practical applications? Thanks, Jeff

Hi Shawn, In Gary's techniques that he showed you, did he physically touch you with all of his techniques? Also, can you feel the flow of your internal energy? Thanks, Jeff

Thank you. Very powerful.

Very wise words... Emptiness cannot really be understood by the mind, it must be realized. The words are from the Heart Sutra. Best wishes, Jeff

Emptiness means that one has realized that... Form = Void and Void = Form.

Hi ChiForce, I am definitely not describing analysis and I think you may be misunderstanding my definition of "mind" or "universal mind". All that exists and can be perceived, from an angry thought to the tree outside to an interracial being from another planet... Are all aspects of "universal mind". Once one breaks down the perceived barrier of the local body-mind, you see that the "outer" world is the same basis as the "inner" world. What people often call "Kundalini" is not really separate from them. As "clarity" of "mind" grows, one realizes that they are also their higher self. That the uncontrolled energy flows are really just deep obstructions "beyond" their conscious perception. Best wishes, Jeff

These words are worth repeating. Another way to describe it is... Kundalini (or uncontrolled energy) happens at the subconscious level of mind (or higher self). Clarity comes from facing and dealing with issues/fears/obstructions in the subconscious. As obstructions are "let go", the subconscious aspects of mind are "pulled into" the conscious. Go deep enough and one accesses "universal mind" and one realizes that Both inner and outer are aspects of mind.

No, it sounds to me like you are listening to your heart. The heart knows... The mind thinks... Ride the Kundalini wave and it will help you clear out all the entities, issues, fears and crap...

Hi K, Sorry to intrude, but rather than meditation, have you ever tried to just keep all of your attention in the present moment? If you stay in the present, the sheep don't need a dog. Best wishes, Jeff

You seem to be attached to that concept. What happens if you let it go?
-
Maybe beyond potential... Pure desire with no attachments.

Don't you all think it is time to move on from this topic? Best, Jeff

Happy Easter to All! Best wishes on your path.

Percieved mental understanding can often be an illusion and a "mind trap". Best wishes on your path.

I think you mean the "realization" of emptiness, not the mental understanding.

Hi ChiForce, I would definitely agree that the concept of "love" is different for a highly cultivated person. A true outflowing (or giving), rather than a romantic "exchange" type of relationship. But, my point above was that one does not need to have full clarity (or all chakras open) to have a loving spiritual partnership. A energetic "loop" can be created between a couple based at the heart (as with a guru connection) that helps both grow spiritually. Best wishes, Jeff

Hi Rainbowviein, Seems like your friend has a pretty high standard... All chakras clear and wide open with everything working harmoniously... Seems to me that it is very rare to find one person like that in a city, let alone two for a couple... Maybe i am just a romantic, but I would say that as long as both parties have an open heart and resonate; they can help each other find and move past their respective obstructions. Best wishes, Jeff

Have you experienced deities? Thanks, Jeff

I like your Jesus with May Magdalene concept. This is also part of most gnostic Christians beliefs. On finding a resonant partner... Is it harder to find? Or, harder to be open to letting in? Best, Jeff

Hi Chris, Welcome to the group. Best, Jeff

Definitely worth repeating.

Many traditions describe that it is nearly impossible to realize the "truth" without the guidance, help and support of a true guru. I thought it might be helpful to describe how/what is the meaningful difference a guru makes to the realization process. There are many ways in which it can be described, but in simple terms, "we" are beings of "light". The normal person has many fears, issues, attachments and ego stuff which "obscure" this truth. Rather than notice the energy/light that we are, we get caught up in the perceptions and mind activity of life. We believe that all of the mental activity and the boundaries of the body are "us". A true guru has seen through the obstructions, perceived the light and in doing so, the light "flows through" them. When one is ready and "finds" a guru, an energetic bond is formed. Our subconscious (or higher) self yearns for the "light" and so "connects" to the guru, which becomes a "form" for the light in the world for us. To form this energetic connection requires a very open, trusting and loving heart. The more open and trusting, the further the guru can take you. With full surrender and trust (which is very rare), a guru can take you all the way to the brink. The final step you must take on your own, as the guru itself, ultimately becomes an "attachment" that which must also be surrendered (let go). Once the bond is formed, it is like one is sort of "drafting" off the guru. The guru can share the light and clarity of mind. Also, the light of guru is constantly "hitting" the obstructions of the student. If the student trusts and let's go of the energetic mental obstructions, it is like the guru "washes them away" with light. Lifetimes of karma and obstructions can be cleared quickly. Hope you found this interesting (and maybe helpful). Best wishes on you path. Jeff
