I think we may be talking about different things regarding the secret door, as I would have to agree with Awaken, and disagree that a simple good basic practice (like breathing, mco and mantra) will lead to opening the secret door. While one does not need a master, it is nearly impossible to realize the polarity without help (or a partner). in Taoism, this polarity is the basis of the “two” that emerge from the “one”. And, such basis is necessary for a normal person (who is a 10,000 thing) to expand and realize the “three”. This “three” is also know as “stream of the universe” in Taoist teachings. As Awaken has said, I think many mistake the feel (and flow) of energy as the secret door being open. While energy flows are a critical first step (known as strength of man), it is not possible to realize the (golden) child without this broader polarity shift. This same point is found in tantric Buddhism through deity/guru/dakini practices. In mystical Christianity, it is in practices described as the “bridal chamber”.

The secret door is opening to the broader polarity of the energy flows. For a man, it is realizing his female energy side, and for a woman, it is realizing the male. But, since all of the old teaching were from a male view, that is why all of the mysterious female references around the secret door. This “door” has the potential of opening once the middle dantien is “full” and one has started to work with the upper. In Hindu terms, it would be possible with the opening of the 5th (throat) chakra. As in both cases, this is when one starts to subconsciously connect to the broader world around them (not just internal energy). The door is hard to find (or secret), because the realizing the other pole is very hard to do on your own.

My comment around mentally passing out was an analogy related to climbing a mountain, and not having the energy levels to support it. As Awaken has been describing, the secret door has nothing to do with a direct physical process (or Ohms law). Breathing techniques are like using a mantra, they are mind based techniques for quieting the mind. Such is useful for starting chi flows, but not helpful for opening the secret door. In Buddhism, one would use things like deity (or dakini) practices to accomplish the equivalent of the opening (secret door).

Deep samadhi happens when one goes deeper in consciousness then they have the energy level to support. Such happens at ongoing and different levels for different people. It is not a “level” or new opening in it owns right. It is more like one is climbing a mountain and air is so thin that you (mentally) “pass out”. As one gets used to the level and clears out related issues and fears at that level, one can continue on with the trip.

Thank you for your post. But, I would disagree with your earlier statement where you say the central channel is the secret door. The central channel is opened with chi, it is the basis of the flow with something like the mco. The secret door is the expansion of “polarity” of the flow. For a male, this would be opening the “female energy side”, and why all of the old texts talk about the “mysterious female”. This can also be seen in the first stage decribed in chapter 28 of the TTC. When you know the strength of man (male chi), you need to know the “female heart” (secret door) to realize the “stream of the universe”.

Yes, similar concept. Just have the loop flow through your bodies, not outside like the magnets. Also, as you clear more stuff, the flow will naturally move higher than the heart. Having an open heart is really more just the minimum baseline to being able to support the practice.

What you are feeling is common for those who have opened their 5th (throat) chakra (or beginning of Shen - upper dantien). You have started to subconsciously connect to your surroundings. Your mind is translating the energy feeling into vibration (which is very common), and the creeping in is your subconscious mind telling you that you are sensing the “inward” flow of the energy of the world around you. I would suggest that you find a teacher who is very familiar with advanced energy forms to work with on this growing skill/capability. Or, if you are not interested in that, I would suggest that you start consciously trying to connect to the flows around you. You can do things like connect (or merge) with trees or a pet if you have one. Start to feel (and know) the two way flow of it. Finally, while it is still earlier for you, with such things people tend to either see things or feel things. Your naturally feeling the energy like that implies you are more heart based (then mind). Such tendencies tend to resonate better with certain traditions. Congrats and best wishes.

No problem. As a potential generic solution, maybe try working together on a sort of a joint mco together, with looping from your second chakra to her second, then her up to her heart, then from her heart to yours, then down again to your second. Have both of you consciously visualize it. No need for complicated visualizations, it is more about consciously feeling it. If successfully done, over time it will start to naturally move higher for both of you. If both of you are open and loving with it, it can be a very powerful joint purification technique.

Does the bed actually vibrate or does it just feel like it to you? Can others feel the bed vibrating if laying in bed with you? Thanks.

We may see it a little differently. To me a master does not “bring” things like terror, doubt, ecstasy, revelation, etc..., and any teacher who says they bring them or the power to create and destroy, should be avoided. But, there is no question that such terror, doubt, power, etc... can be experienced by the person them-Self as part of the process. Clearing out the crap is not easy...

I totally agree that with any true teacher, one will naturally grow and expand. Such expansion can immediately be felt in the heart. Always trust your own instincts on such things. But surrender and trust is a necessary part of letting go of issues and fears. For me, attempting to control all is a trap of the mind/ego. One does not really build/create power, it is much more like one clears away all of the crap (issues & fears) that was obscuring all of the inherent power/light that was always there in the first place. For me, a true master helps brings clarity. The power/energy was alway already yours in the first place.

Ok. In this situation, both of you are currently residing at the heart (and balancing each other pretty well). Often with such a loop, one of the practioners would reside at a “higher level” and the “extra space” would sort of be shared with the partner and then the energy build up would not result in the local mind overload. Maybe think of it like you are stretching your energy system to 110%, connecting to her when she is probably running in the high 90s, with the combined efffect turbo charging it even more, causing the overload. The fix is for either one of you (or both) learning to open at a higher level where you start naturally connecting to your environment in general. Sort of like connecting into the larger grid, rather than just the person you create the loop with. On specific practices that may help, could you say what traditions and kinds of things that you do now? Also, is ok for me to remotely scan you (and your gf, if ok with her), so that I can make some more detailed suggestions based on your situation?

As others have stated, this is an energy overflow issue for your girlfriend. A joint male-female energy loop is created between the two of you. In particular, it is based at the heart and loops between chakras 2-4. The flow that you are “sending”, she is “recieving” and then having a problem returning/transmitting back. That “buildup”, which is most likely happening at her 3rd chakra is causing the issue. The cool thing is that the two of you have such a connection and it is effectively a joint purification loop, so over the long term there are very positive benefits for both of you. Addressing the issue, requires creating (or sharing) some additional space for the flows. Happy to discuss some options for how to do that, either privately in a pm or here in the thread if you prefer.

With your level of opening, what you are experincing is really pretty common. Ever read the first Jed McKenna book? His energy body situation that is described in the book is actually pretty close to what you are experiencing now. The challenge is that what is happening is sort of beyond simple exercising and being kind, it is more like direct energetic interaction with your surroundings at a subconscious level. Sort of like a big pre-step before what the is often called in many traditions as “turning around” (or 3rd eye stuff). The key here is really making it all more conscious energy movement. Balance with the outbound (transmission) to match with the inbound (reception). Any traditions that you are familiar with or follow? Then, I could recommend some specific practices, in line with your background. Also, feel free to send me a pm if you want some more detailed specifics.

Our definitions would probably be a little different. Regarding your current state, the issue is that you have reached the level where you are starting to connect to the people and environment around you, but it is sort of like you are stuck in a hyper reception mode. Like a radio recieving, but no outbound transmission of the energy. Without the balancing transmission, the energy creates a buildup creating the feelings that you are describing. In Taoist terms, you could say that you are starting to realize the upper dantien, but are more yin and need to balance more on the yang side.

For me, Verse 57 is about the nature of "mind" and the difference between clear and obstructed view. The Father's kingdom is "clear mind" without attachments, issues and fears. The weed that are sowed are the attachments and aversions that create issues in our "mind". When in such a "state", it is not really possible to tell what is "real" and what is a distorted view, hence the confusion of focusing on the world. But, with a clear mind (day of harvest), it is easy to notice the issues, fears and obstructions, and they will be dropped (pulled up and burned).

I agree it is some interesting stuff. But, I believe it is also important to say that he is a self appointed bishop and not part of any mainstream christian tradition. He has also done things as part of his teachings such as excommunicating Pope Benedict (2010, as a heretic).

I would agree with your point on Agape love and compassion being pretty much the same thing (depending on cultural/framework differences). I would also agree with your concept that everything arises based upon desire. But in that specific framework, compassion would be like "pure desire" (without attachment), and the law of attraction would be like "attached desire" (and hence part of the two that emerge from the one).

If you look at the immediately following verses, you see that it is not about not hurting others, but about gifts of grace, or that not every part of the body is the same and that you need to work together... 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. While I completely agree that one needs to continue with their own personal growth, one of the unique things about Jesus and his teachings, is the shared space (or potential for "parallel processing"... 1 John 1:1-7 1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
