  1. Life after Awakening

Very well said and worth repeating.
  2. KS - Stanzas on Vibration

I think that you raise a very good and interesting point. KS is very much a tantric system and so your concept of "gender energies" would probably fit pretty well. Specifically, I see Unmesa and Nimesa as the movement between the "two poles" (or transmission and reception). That movement is "Shakti" (or all energy/light) in motion with contraction being more obscured view (or Maya) and expansion being increasing mental clarity. Ultimately, it is all the same and just motion, but as Abhinavagupta states... "True, but even though it shines there, it has not truly become a conscious apprehension. Without conscious apprehension, even if a thing exists, it is as if it did not exist..." -The Triadic Heart of Siva
  3. No-Thought-State / Two Questions

No, you are not doing anything wrong. You are just starting to notice some of the subconscious thoughts/energy flows at deeper levels of consciousness in your mind. Think of it more like no thought at a certain depth in the mind, there is always more stuff "underneath" it that you will start to notice as you clear out stuff. Most likely you will find that what you are feeling is probably associated with some fear or issue. Maybe try sitting with it for a while when it comes up and see if you find that it is associated with any memory or feelings.
  4. Humble greetings...

    Welcome
  5. Hi Orion, What you are describing often happens when one has broken through to a deeper layer of consciousness. Kind of like it is a big open and disconnected space. But, as more subconscious issues and fears are cleared, more energy at that depth is freed up and with the increased energy flows, new forms of engagement make sense and fit again. Also, you are correct that it can be sort of a trap, and often people declare "done" at such a point. But, after a rest, often "curiosity" often starts to return and one is nudged again out of the bubble (which seems what might be happening with you now). Maybe think of like you are climbing at higher altitudes and find that the air is so thin that you can't breathe... After a while you get used to the thinner air, and then can continue your hike. Best, Jeff
  6. Here you go with my shot at it... The mountains are high, the Sabari girl lives there. She wears peacock feathers. Her neck is adorned with a necklace of gunja berries. As one reaches the higher (chakra) levels, consort practices start to make sense. Wearing peacock feathers meaning very noticeable (or now visible). Gunja berries are associated with female goddesses. The neck relates to the throat and communication. O wild Sabara, o mad Sabara, Do not cry of make a noisy complaint. O crazy and horny guy, don't get lost in sexual desire. Your own wife is the Sahaja Sundari. Your own wife can be the goddess that you need for consort practices. The tree blossomed into flowers, the branch touched the sky. It is not just about the woman, but more about your spiritual growth and being ready for it. Sabari wears ear- ornaments and vajra. The consort is about "reception" (ear-ornamnents) and returning your transmission. She wanders in this forest alone. She is energy and motion. The bed of three metals is placed. Sabara spreads the bed with great pleasure. There is a huge rush of sexual fun and energy before you hit the void (described below). Sabara the lover and Sabari his mistress made love into the morning. The heart is a betel leaf, eating camphor with great enjoyment. In making such love with consort practice the heart becomes the base of the connection and it is both a big stimulant (betel leaves) and quiets the mind (eating camphor). By embracing the Void in his neck he passes the night in bliss. The void in the neck is the transmission point (or throat chakra). If the male stays with the transmission, rather than get caught up in what he is transmitting, he can stay with the bliss all night. Consider the Guru's advice as your bow and, with you mind as the arrow, Pierce through Nirvana in one try. The guru's teaching is what points and sends your mind in the right direction. Pay attention and you will go the right way from the beginning. Best wishes.
  7. Belated New Year Greetings

Yes, very nice. I hope you and the Mrs. are both well.
  8. Just a joke related to all the off topic posts in this thread.
  9. Ok... Maybe now I have changed my perspective.
  10. Add me into that group to regarding General Discussion (and the main sections). People seem to want to ban any opinion that is different than their own, hence the concept of discussion dies...
  11. Once again with the random "gnostic" stuff. Rather than your trying to label me with "demiurge" (who sounds a lot like the description of the God that Daskalos describes ), why don't we just end this silliness. I am completely fine with the description of "non-institutional Christian. Also, I totally am fine being associated with the word "kundalini" or energy of the divine feminine. You could even say "proud" to be associated with it. While mystical Christianity does not have the concept of kundalini in the classic sense, it very definitely sees the Holy Spirit as associated with the divine feminine. Also, I have no problem with the concept of Shakti, the goddess Tara, or the goddess Xi Wangmu. I wish you and TI th best with your Anton worship.
  12. Sounds interesting. Let's just not call it mystical Christianity or the Holy Sipirt as Daskalos worships the the God Aton.
  13. So Aton that Daskalos followed was some sort of Sun god? Similar to the concept of Ra?
  14. Thank you for your link above and post. So we see that Daskalos is quoted teaching that Jesus was not Jewish, but actually some worshipper of some Egyptian god called Aton... "Now, what you call Jesus, He and His family and most of His disciples were Essenes, they were not Jews. What were the Essenes? The Essenes appear in Egypt as descendants of the worshippers, Israelites and Greeks (in Egypt), believing in Aton, the one Spirit-God which the pharaoh Ankhenaton, breaking the idols, declared as the real God. For centuries there was a fight between the old religion of the gods, the idols, and the one God, the Spirit-God, the God of the heavens and of the earth." Does the god Aton have anything to do with the Holy Spirit?
  15. Once again, I do not understand your endless need to attempt to label my spiritual approach as "gnostic". If anyone is interested in my christian beliefs they can easily read my many, many posts on the topics. While I completely agree that my beliefs are non standard "institutional", the term gnostic is just not useful and misleading. Also, if someone believes in some evil "demiurge", that is fine, it is just not something that I believe in. And yes, I totally agree that a "Christian mystic would seek a direct personal relationship with Jesus". But, would a Christian mystic renounce the words of Jesus in the gospels?
  16. I did not say chakras, I said Kundalini...
  17. Yes, as I have stated repeatedly, I consider the Gospel of Thomas an incredibly valuable (and experimentally accurate) text. But, while I have no issue with someone being "gnostic", I do not find the label particularly helpful regarding my mystical Christian experience and beliefs. Gnostic traditions are based in a belief that the world was created and still controlled by some evil overlord (Demiurge). Additionally, they tend to have complicated magic based systems that support their framework. I do not agree with that or see the value in such an approach. And, yes, I stand by all of my posts (and things like "transmission"), but don't consider the term gnostic particularly useful or accurate when discussing mystical Christianity.
  18. Bindi - The above is not accurate and not at all what I believe. I do not understand why you feel the constant need to mis-characterize such things. Our differences seem much more simple than that. As I have stated endless times, I find truth and value in the words of Jesus in the gospels, you and TI either seem to not believe the words of Jesus, say they are wrong/made up or see them as a "spiritual blackmail" scam. You put your trust and faith in your mom and your dreams, I put my trust in Christ. Our difference of opinion is as simple as that.
  19. Could your give me a reference that describes Kundalini in the Christian, Muslim, Buddhist or Taoist traditions?
  20. If you are seeing the words of Jesus in the gospels as some form of "spiritual blackmail", then it doesn't sound like we have much to discuss on this topic. Best wishes to you and your Daskalos tradition.
  21. In my personal experience, I would agree that the heart is more accurate related to what Jesus is describing in the gospel quote. Also, as I stated above the concept of kundalini in the form of some disc (or stored energy) at the base of the spine does not exist in Christianity, Taoism or Buddhism to my knowledge; that is more of a Hindu concept.
  22. The quote is relevant is association with the concept of energy related to the Holy Spirit as there is no real concept of Kundalini in the Christian tradition. As you can see from the following verse... “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)” ‭‭John‬ ‭7:37-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬ The Holy Spirit is directly tied to the "flow rivers of living water" (energy) out of his "belly".
  23. And what is that? Some new age thing?
  24. As the text describes... The spirit of truth... What is a HGA?
