I am concerned that there could ever be an eternal null within which even the question of existence cannot be pondered, that the illusion cannot be cast, a permable state of sungularity void without duality... Though i suspect that reality is born of void regardless... the fear remains in a subtle place in the back of my mind...

judging dogs by their breed is no different than judging humans by their hair color, skin color, or BMI. Likewise, if you are stupid enough to agitate the dog, then you are stupid enough to be a victim of a dog attack, regardless of the breed. Pits are no less compassionate and loving dogs than retrievers or beagels. more than beagels actually i tihnk... never had a pit piss on my bedding... even while i was homeless the pit was more respectful of me than the domesticated beagels! In tao, one dimension, all things exist mutually. there is no "this is this and that is that because they cnt be both" when they are already inherently co-occupying the tao. Duality shouldnt be a concern. and if you find you are living in a state of contradiction... well, that's just the way. One can be both materialistic and generous. that is somewhat taoist isnt it? One can also be both bare-basics and selfish. i drink 1 pot < of coffee a day, eat cream of wheat most mornings, starve myself one day out of every week (cuz im a picky eater, but still drinking coffee), and dont generally concern myself with what i do eat... be it potato chips, cake, pie, or a turkey dinner. I can eat more than i do; I dont usually eat more than what i am physically craving. Right now: Cream of wheat made by boiling milk with a dash of allspice and 3 dashes of cinnamon, Nutella (choclate hazelnut spread) mixed in with the powdery remainders of my frosted shreded wheat cereal and cooked for about 5 minutes. Its downright filling! Oh yeah, and a cup of black coffee... damn good coffee.
