hey, no problem. i might not know much, but i try to help when it's asked. All i can say is that lots of carbs are good as long as you're using all of them and working out constantly, which is good in combination with protein. I'm jsut the "cannabis guy", always advocating it's miraculous benefits
-
Well i dunno, do your research and im sure you'll find the right thing. IF you're lucky, someone might already have a good answer, and you jsut have to wait on that reply

same same, hemp is the "industrial" version of cannabis, as it contains less than 0.01, or 0.001% THC... making it legal... in SOME places. Same same. Cannabis/Hemp is the highest concentration of protein, second only to soy. Also contains an extremely high concentration and variety of amino acids. Healthiest food on earth
-
can you get ahold of soy? that stuff is the protein king. and it maintains all natural approach. Second to soy is cannabis, but that's usually not legal even for foodstuffs.

I pretend i do it, and imagine i am doing it when i am really not, as if the intent is enough. but then again, i have no idea what im getting myself in to. no idea, about, 89% of the time... (with everything)

In spore, i made omnivorous tree-people... guess that makes them cannibals of sorts? I'd pay to watch a vegan get swallowed by clear soup Uh... That has everything to do with this thread, yes? -

Taoist INTENT and Goal Manifestation
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to humbleone's topic in Daoist Discussion
by that definition, intention can or deos evolve into intent. Visualize it to make it "apparent" then "let it go" to make it "solid". -
what'chall wearing right now? Oh hey look, a distraction *follows distraction out of this thread*

Enlightenment and Immortality
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to idiot_stimpy's topic in General Discussion
The body is a person, a place, made up of things. The mind is a person, a place, made up of things. The spirit is beyond mind-body, but occupys the space between reality of the mind and of the body. They are all able to function without one another. but they cannot stir the spirit without each other. a mind with no body or body without mind cannot stir the spirit, and likewise a mind-body without spirit cannot benefit the spirit. Truly, a healthy body is essential to spiritual development, however the attachment to mind and/or to body is not healthy and thusly cannot stir the spirit in healthy ways. -
Taoist INTENT and Goal Manifestation
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to humbleone's topic in Daoist Discussion
intent and intention are hardly a duality. your terminology refers more to the mentality of the individual than the words you use to divide them. Taoist intention/taoist intent... same difference. Intent/intention are essentially the same thing, but the intentions themselves can be categorized differently between christian, atheistic, taoist, buddhist, and zen and infinitye and beyond. a useless argument of semantics. Your actual INTENT in this thread, however, is more important than dividing "intent vs intention". Both can be with or without emotion depending on your actual intentions. -
Your faith, understanding, experience, and expression of (the) buddha's words is great.
Can you reach this without (the) buddha or his words?
-
Ey dont knock 'em, their approach to "our same thing" may be different, but their destination is barely any different. Only semantics separate us, truly. we are of the same mind and goal. our routes might differ greatly, but they have many crossing points and merges.

y'know, i have a hard time trying that one!! I sleep like a dog, on my side, with one leg tucked and the other straight, tucking one arm under my head, and the other resting by my tucked leg. Seems i might never gain your power of back-rest.

Healing others

I guess i shouldnt brag, and not that I am, per se, but it didnt take me long. by 12, i was starting to 'get it' but i didnt really get it till 21. And even though i do get it, it is often more a matter of remembering it and applying it. Pure intentions, yeah, but like i said, i wouldnt want to be harmful with my helpful intentions. i say it all the time in all my posts anyways Thanks to jeramiah for the encoragement. i try to maintain that mentality/viewpoint, but there's rarely, if ever, any confirmation of what influences people are benefitting from. And thanks all of you, everyone who posted, for the insightful input. It's really a more simple matter than i make it out to be -

Healing others
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan's topic in General Discussion
speaking of which, what little i can do, is very little, but i havent felt any serious evidence to my methods and results. It's a very passive approach, to others. i maintain a mental focus on sharing my energies, specifically for the healing and well being of others. And, like i said, when i am actively cultivating, it seems like the effects are observable, but not always. as opposed to right now, while i am so busy i am only trying to keep a small amount of cultivation for personal stores and uses. im fighting off a cold right now, which is going around the house. I tend to get over the cold before others, but often get it again before they get over their first bout. Never the less, when directly asked, i have been able to give people warmth, pain reduction (like stiff joints), and reduce if not remove tension and headaches through direct touch or "hovering hands". I am not as confident in myself as the few i have helpped are though... i dont thoroughly understand what i am doing and wouldnt want to make any poor judgments and mistakes.
