Intuition is knowing more than you think you know. Ignorance is thinking you know more than you do. Well, i define ignorance as the state of ignoring something/everything. The dictionary defines it as stupid(ity). There's really little difference, i guess... i guess you have to be stupid to be ignorant, but i differintiate them. Prejudice is also a good one, thinking you know more than you do about something you have no knowledge; pre-judging.

I personally think intentional sensation is overdone. If you're trying to grab people's attention, sensation does the trick, but what is the necessity of it? Sensation isnt unnecessary, but intentional sensation, to me, is oversensational. Stick with what is, naturally, dont worry about the fictious. If it's political, sometimes, i agree, things need to gain attention, but the better way to do that, in my opinion, is not to sensationalize the good bit, but to desensationalize the unnecessary bit. In the case of jesus...? *YAWWWWN* lemelone.

Two poles to address. Positive, let's say yang pole : Good to let people know how much truth there is to it, and how much is misrepresented, or misconstrued, or mistranslated. Keep the truth true. Negative, or yin: Oversensationalization of anything is a bad and harmful means of presentation. easy to lose your audience, easy to convey the wrong message, easy to create zealots. So... let's just slow your roll. you're on to a lot of things, but maybe... too much so.

Taoism is not unique, from the contrast of reality itself, or the cosmos, or mother nature, taoism just "is". as plain as the nose on your face, no more unique than a pile of rocks. Taoism in society is as unique as every individual religion or philosophy, not terribly unique, but not exactly a rock in a pile. Comparably to individual alternatives, Taoism is greatly unique. Comparably to all alternatives, taoism is a mirror. Humans compare things, this to that, greater, lesser, better, worse. Weather or not this is a good or bad thing, i do not know, but it is how we generally "see" the world, by contrasts.

People dont know what they're getting into or how much the politicians are lying... you're right, "we" elect them, but "they" still lie. It's both parties, but ultimately, it's the fact that peopel are too lazy/selfish/corrupt/ignorant to govern themselves. part of it is people want someone to blame, part of it is politicians are given an inch, take a mile. if they're gonna get the blame, might as well make it worth their while, right? In the end of it all, however, it doesnt matter where the blame goes, people still have to start taking responsibility for themselves and either make elections a matter of work and effort, rather than picking one out of a lineup, or do away with large scale government all together and be responsible for themselves entirely. There are no simple answers, or short cut solutions. that's what government is all about anyways, which is why people keep playing into it, because they DON'T want to be responsible for themselves, and in that act, dont care what ill is done to them as long as they dont have to blame themselves for it.

This was just a reactionary thread...? no? I think the question is the answer, actually. True honor would be found better through questioning itself, rather than keeping your word, regardless of the circumstances (or contractual pennalties) and being a genuine person. keeping your word is honorable.

Hm, this is getting more involved by the letter...! lol you're right, without recognition of the self or the problems a self has, they we cannot acknowledge their our own responsibility thereof, and therefore never make any progress toward overcoming or improving their our state of being, weather of mind or of emotion, body, or a mix thereof, including all 3... The Self Being cannot grow or improve without personal acknowledgment.
