  1. How much do we undersatnd the Microcosmic Orbit...?

could you rephrase? I sort of get it, but it's not clicking.
  2. Immortals (Xian Shi)

Neitzche (is that spelled even close?) "That which does not kill me can only make me stronger." There is no bad except where there is bad, and that bad can be used only to become stronger, which is good!
  3. How much do we undersatnd the Microcosmic Orbit...?

Where do we go from the void? what is the full cycle? If it is Jing->Qi->Shen->Void Then... Jing->Qi->Shen->Void->_???_->_???_ etc. I know enough that an orbit does not simply disappear; even in the event of being knocked out of orbit and/or flung into a black hole, matter/energy are eternally orbiting a vast path of exchanges. Generally speaking, maybe not pertinent to MCO, but as above so below... in a stable orbit, you have 4 phases which suggests from void comes jing, but that doesnt seem to ring true in my head. I dont know much/anything about Microcosmic Orbits let alone Macrocosmic Orbits, but i know that all things are mirrors, reflictions, of all other things, and when i hear orbits, i cant help but imagine microgalactic movements in the body.

  6. Tricking the library 3 hour limit

so i stopped at every hour interval as the time ran up and took walks. this is the last of 3 hours, and every time the counter comes down to 5 minutes, it asks if i want to bump it up 15 minutes more. I know it does this three times, so i can get 45 extra minutes G :ninja: d to kn w
  7. Tricking the library 3 hour limit

hehe the library computers are well secured; ctrl+alt+del gives the classic blue screen of reboot reminds me of windows 95 And everything is heavily restricted, i've tried to view the folders and hard drives but no can do, at least not with my limited knowledge
  8. Game: A Scene from a Movie to explain a taoist concept

My sinceremost apologies, Stig, i dont know movies worth a darn, but i'd like to test people on one particular movie, a favorite scene of mine... Please, do give stig's a whack and dont take off after figuring out mine, i just want to play with this one... Over a game of chess while the other man smokes his cigar: "We're not doing this for you because we like you..." man looks around "We're doing it because.... Well, we are you." My onliest hint is a few key lines: (mmmmm key limes...) "In order to get smarter, you must play a smarter opponent." "by controling what affects you, you change the rules of the game." "the first rule in business is to protect your investment."
  9. The Path of the Confused

Hey, not many people know how confused and conflicted I, myself, am, but alls we can do is push forrward and hope for the best. Even those who sound, act, and seem great and wise are still confused people all the same. They too have to go through it to get to where they are, so who is to say they are "correct". We'll never know through any means but direct personal experience. Which is probably why the wisest of elders sit there doing little and speaking even less.
  10. Haiku Chain

The Tao follows fours. In, Relax, Out, Hold, Repeat. Yet 5 elements?
  11. can you be normal and get the tao?

  14. Cure for masturbation addiction

This is a prime example of "too much good stuff" when the good stuff is derrived from something so terrible K so now i am kind of grossed out, bye.
  15. Philosopher's Stone Claimed to Be Recently Found

Psst... anyone who is interested in an interesting read on the interesting process of making the elixer of life and the more interestingly interesting philosopher's stone of great interest, send me an Email or PM me your own email addy. I will forward a .pdf with worthwhile reading material on the subject. Dang, i am never where i need to be, huh? How does one find a master in the middle of the flacking 110 degree californian high desert??? bleh. Dont know where to start.
  17. I see people are still misleading each other on Buddhism

lol the best advice a "bhuddist n00b" can get is that Sidhartha is from India, taught primarily the means and motivation of meditation, and most importantly: DID NOT (try to) FOUND BHUDDISM. "Bhudda's" followers took to him as a deity for his incredibly sensational approach to spirituality, as having been a Hindu Prince swearing himself to poverty and study of the world and it's natural way. His biggest and primarily only point was to guide the mindstorm to a calm and see your true reflection. Nothing more, nothing less. Everything built (by his followers and his followers' followers) after that is smoke and mirrors. Silently and serently, Sidharta handed a man a lotus flower. The man nodded in acknowledgement while others looked on in confusion and/or frustration. No words need be exchanged between the knowing; words only seek to confuse the seekers of knowledge. He who speaks, does not know; He who knows, does not speak. True knowledge is unattainable for knowledge is eternally fixed in time, unmoving, uncreating, unchanging; Knowing is fluid and never forever stationary but through varying frequencies of "stop-go".
  18. I see people are still misleading each other on Buddhism

I'd like to point out that even this changes. Even a state of unchanging stagnancy is sitll possible, rather all i mean to say is that there are no known truths, it's always flowing and changing, unpredictably predictable, yet unpredictable outright. Even the I Ching and Tao Teh Ching predictions can be wrong or even outright defied... The best we have is meditation and mindfulness, not truths in and of themselves, but clarity of the nature of truth, which is still delusional in and of itself.
  19. I think you're just letting your panties get all bunched up. seriously, do you like it when they go way, way, waaaayyyyy up your buttcrack? Take a step back, chill out, and roll with the punches, dont be constantly offensive/defensive, learn to evade and even outright sustain the blows. This wasnt intended to imply you're a sissy in a pink thong but to suggest you're letting nothing become something it's not.
  20. I see people are still misleading each other on Buddhism

Realizing that all perceptions and thoughts are delusions is mindful awareness; there are no necessary truths or knowledges beyond mindful awareness. Things always change.
  21. .... what's FWIW? :P:lol: Hi mal! Keep it fresh! :P

  22. My left hand path (for -K-)

You seem.... burdened by the nature of the universe! You want it, as it seems, to be all-yang and no-yin, which is impossible! You cannot have "correct" without "incorrect", or "evolved" without "unevolved"! You cannot expect for all the bad karma to be repaied and gone, for doing good requires bad to contrast it, else you'd do nothing. I might suggest that you take a step back from the duality and repose in the void.
  23. Circle of Iron

I Love that blind man! Never seen the movie, but that quote was AWESOME!
  24. True Love can only exist without Lust (For Enlightenment)

He who speaks, does not know; He who knows, does not speak.
