  1. A question to "healers"

I am quoting this to emphasize how true it is. In passing, one can sense a person's mood or aura, especially if you can see their face. Time and time again, I pass people in the street, I smile at them, nod, or other form of acknowledgement. Rare is it I encounter someone so adamant in their bad mood that my passing cannot coerce a smile. Rare is it I pass someone whose mindstorm clouds their eyes to the light of love... rare as it is, its scary... Because... So many people I pass walking through salem... people on bikes, on foot, in cars, that my smile, my facing them, my acknowledging them, it almost always brings a smile to the faces of complete strangers. their entire lives, even if only for that brief moment, are cured of all ailments! Once memory kicks in and their personal storms return, alchemy takes place, and our interaction digests at each other in them until my brief light of love has devoured at their lurking mindstorm. It's from the omniversal light of love that all things are possible.
  2. Taoist-Tantrika Native American Ninja in training

Don't be a pirate versus ninja hater, be Zelda: Zelda is a princess of Hyrule, Pirate of the lost islands, and a ninja of the shadow realm!
  3. Taoist-Tantrika Native American Ninja in training

Where? I had a friend out here when I was growing up who was descended from Blackfoot people... I understand the blackfeet settled in the pacific northwest... I've always been fascinated by the naturalistic and tribal ways of life that the native American nations have forever preserved...
  4. Should spirits have people's rights?

politicians. this is true: Politicians believe that people do not exist and they never have to consider if their actions offend anyone, because in their free will opinion, only they exist, and we all are AI/NPC/equivalent. Whats your point?
  5. Men and Dinosaurs

a lack of evidence does not constitute as inherent evidence. There is no evidence that the dinosaurs DID NOT co-occupy earth with humans, simply because we have not yet found evidence that they have. That is false logic. There is no evidence proving a precice entrance of human influence in this world, only evidence that we have existed as far back as the earliest dated remains found. Moral of the story: If everything is false until proven true, you're ignorant. If everything is true until proven false, you're gullible If no evidence exists to prove or disprove the presence of dinosaurs during mankind's beginnings... then don't argue about it, only speculate. Arguing over a lack of evidence is pathetic as it gets.
  6. The decline and eventual fall of the USA as world superpower?

while WE are all in here discussing what 'they' are doing, we remain in here doing nothing while "they" continue to affect our lives on a daily basis! we can either talk about propaganda, or we can stop buying into it, talking about it, justifying it, and start ending it. would you like to see an end of propaganda? SIMPLE QUESTION, YEA OR NAY?
  7. Should spirits have people's rights?

The Link between Spirit and Body is, what have I always been saying all this time, Free Will. If Free Will were the basis of law, spirits/souls would be legally protected; do nothing that should infringe upon or inhibit any individual's ability to express their will, and all spirits will be free.
  8. The most powerful person is the one with the strongest mind.

riotous, the sooner one realizes this, the sooner one starts considering translation of such things once deemed mundane and inanimate... Read as: humans are the last in line to "get it" on earth
  9. The most powerful person is the one with the strongest mind.

Grammar Nazi: Then enlightenment....what? Then: future tense Than: comparison.
  10. Bias against New Age

if you are questioning a practice or formula from a stance of disbelief or disacknowledgement, you will be prepared to reject the defenses, whereas if you were genuinely curious, rather than trying to disprove, you would form your questions with a pursuit of understanding, rather than ignoring.
  11. If I can reach my alarm clock

... from where I am laying in bed, I'm not getting up. Convenience has become an addiction, a source of desire even. We do things in our daily lives that we think nothing of, take for granted, and rely on so heavily that alternatives are not only unthought of, but virtually inconceivable! How many Americans can consider tomorrow without any combustion engines? I cant imagine most of us here on the bums can even do it! It is because convenience has grown on us, like a parasite, and we're the host. Convenience is what keeps us trapped in this dream world, reinforcing its hold by preying on our fears and our ego's irrationality. "wash rinse repeat" caters to the irrationality of the ego. indoor plumbing caters to the convenience factor. So the fear of losing our daily showers locks us in place. How hard it would be to get washed up in the wild with no running water or heating! SCARY THOUGHT! And it traps you in convenience, convinces you to stop thinking and go back to sleep. you don't need to get up right now anyways, it's convenient enough, you'll do it when you want: That's why I have to hide my alarm clock from myself, otherwise, it's too convenient to shut it off and go back to sleep.

  13. The most powerful person is the one with the strongest mind.

a strong mind is powerful, but it takes a strong heart to overcome a strong mind. a strong heart has only itself to overcome, nothing reigns above the heart. a brain alone is like a radio without a station to tune into. a brain alone is dead. it takes the transmission of the soul to give the brain anything to chew on. otherwise, all it does is maintain bodily autonomy; heartbeat and subtle brain breaths. Genuine ideas, conceptualizations, visions, and dreams are not created by the brain alone, but a combination of the physiological experience recorded by the brain and the psychological and spiritual experiences recorded by the soul. The lonely brain's only emissions are physiological, not psycho/thoughtological; in order for a physical brain to emit mental thought, a soul is required to combine the metaphysical with the literal physical so as to create unique identities, ideas, concepts, and thoughts. Communication in and of itself is a good example of a brain. communication, alone, by itself, is just a bunch of sounds that are not being received. Communication with additional bodies is an exchange of emotions, ideas, and thoughts. Communication is the primary function of the brain, is it not? Can you not communicate with your thoughts? It would explain why you don't (think you) have a spiritual body... edit: spellcheck didnt catch "ommunicate" im coining it to refer to the ability to communicate with all of omniversiality: Ommunication

Sexual perfection and jesus in the same topic, this isn't off topic, on topic discussion?
  15. ...

D'HAW!!! I love the satire They still call it clubbing, but now days they use drugs and added the nickname "date rape".
  16. Bias against New Age

Omniversiality doesn't "have room for" exclusiveness. that "stain of beliefs" cannot be eliminated, only placed in a conductive combination in relation to all things elsewise. This is true of all things: Politics, drugs, pizzas, the sky. omniversiality is not jeet kune do: to eliminate the "useless" and hone the "useful"; that is exclusiveness, reactionary, and specialization. To be omniversal, you keep your flaws and find their faces, get to know them, and learn their personhood, just as you already do for your edges and advantages.

  19. The decline and eventual fall of the USA as world superpower?

oy.. okay simple. let's say you have a linear sliding bar graph. 0-100 100 being smart, 0 being absent faculties. now, let's say you have 21 of these bars. each representing different areas of knowledge, thinking, logic, belief, etc. you have a lot of "intelligence factors" fighting for decision making. so naturally if the focus on thinking is just right, the right combination of bars are slid closer to 100 and others to 0, then people will make "bad decisions" - which are also perceptions - opinions, based on individual 'slider combinations' said simpler: in an RPG you have an intelligence stat that you increase as you level up... the higher it is, the 'better' your responses are to situations, the better the outcomes. in life your intelligence is just a bit more complex. less linear than even my description... beyond cubic, I think... (cant say I know! ha!)
  20. Bias against New Age

"*The new age*" is hardly new, and is aptly compared thusly: Monotheism: one god, one religion. comparable to a dot, or a period... Polytheism: many gods, one religion. comparable to a snake eating its own tail. Atheism: no gods, no religions comparable to a line with definite beginning and end. *Americanism: any gods, any religions* ... comparable to cancer Omnitheism: every god, every religion there is no comparison, there just is.
  21. The decline and eventual fall of the USA as world superpower?

of course there are... it's a field of superdimensional thought. you have gradual rises and declines in many various (and often academically compartmentalized) methods of thinking, or "minds". you can compare these thought processes, or logic centers, to animal behavior, in most cases. Chemistry is something utilized by most insects for communication and colony control. apt comparisons. You can find "lounge lizard" to be more literal than figurative if you study the behavior patterns. "Hound" male mentality, but the honest to god question you have to ask yourself and have only your own self to answer: Do you (wish to) emulate an animal? Do you know how to emulate Humanness? What kind of animal gobbles up every perceived opportunity without discretion? Hint: its a type of frog.
  22. Bias against New Age

How dare you disavow another being with such disdain as to perpetuate their starvation. do you know the root causes of starving ghost entities? Do you know how valuable the dreams and spirits of our ancestors are today and how damnable our very ways of lives, nay our lives themselves, are to these continually existing beings and their pursuits for contentedness and freedom? You know nothing of mutual benefit or common unity.
  23. for the comment box

the comment box which doesn't work. "office" sounds so stifling! "kitchen" is a good place for the healing forum, and other food-related and TCM topics... the personal practice discussion subforum moved and I feel disoriented Hope we know what we're doing! ~_n
  24. The decline and eventual fall of the USA as world superpower?

if smarter is playing the game, then I will stick to harder and break it. its not worth my time, and in spite of what the physiological egoic brain thinks, its not worth anyone's time. it is more valuable to see the ruins of epic civilizations fallen than it is to build any civility at all. If smarter only builds civility, then I pray harder can break it.
