Is faith an illusion of the mind?
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to gabrielnb's topic in Buddhist Discussion
that potentially takes us to genetic memory and the like... but i won't go into it due to my lack of knowledge. What i will say, however, is that we are all directly and physically connected to the truth; the origins of reality. We are all born knowing in our hearts the truth between right and wrong. It is merely a matter of how much we acknowledge what we know in our hearts or ignore it. True faith in this sense is something that is not concieted, but would guarantee a pursuit of facts and evidence if one's faith would be taken seriously.- 124 replies

Is faith an illusion of the mind?
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to gabrielnb's topic in Buddhist Discussion
Conciet? noun 1.an excessively favorable opinion of one's own ability, importance, wit, etc. 2. something that is conceived in the mind; a thought; idea:He jotted down the conceits of his idle hours. 3.imagination; fancy. 4.a fancy; whim; fanciful notion. 5.an elaborate, fanciful metaphor, especially of a strained or far-fetched nature. 6.the use of such metaphors as a literary characteristic, especially in poetry. 7. a fancy, purely decorative article. Which one? Faith is more concieted than knowing; at least with knowing, there is [an] experiential precursor, whereas with faith it's.... well.... faith.- 124 replies

Why would you want to raise Kundalini?
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to stefos's topic in Hindu Discussion
So would it be more appropriate to think " I will raise myself to match the Kundualini energy." or not to think about it at all? -
I've said the very same of Bagua. Nothing that i have experienced myself compares to it. All the more encouraging, your words, to seek out the Golden Lotus n_n Ah, but all i have for now are questions, i must first improve my own practice before i even consider trying to take on anything additional.
-
I think you are implying something. Oh hey look a squirrel! Meet me in the chat room if you want to duke it out face to face.... er.... sorta.
-
I have to clarify, your art is intriguing. "My" art is not bagua, but bagua is part of my art. "My art" is Omniversiality; "all things". I am in pursuit of everything that can be pursued, the whole sum total of all of infinity. That includes - only includes - never excludes - every art form - bagua, yoga, taijiquan, golden lotus, you name it. All of them.

Vaccination - Split from Microchipped Babies
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to Taomeow's topic in The Rabbit Hole
one more point to the "Vaccinations are a scam" party... But i've always been one-up of that; I'm in the "all pharmicuticals are scams" party... But i believe in internal alchemy and individual-medicine. Medicine is food; food is medicine; drugs are bad mm'kay? -
What does "Qi cultivation" mean to you?
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to Rara's topic in General Discussion
as so ever possible, yes. but the tragic flaw of living in civilization is the co-dependency civility breeds and enforces... Thank god for what i've learned here on The Bums! ANY Qi cultivation is better than no cultivation!! and i just lucked out big time with all the help everyone has given me over the last 4 years!!!- 36 replies

Native American Council Offers Amnesty to 240 Million Undocumented Whites
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan's topic in The Rabbit Hole
When the topic of "legal" gets brought up, it begs the question: Under current laws would the occupation of tribal lands ever have been "legal"? If we were to respect the ancestral occupants of these lands and observed their own laws, would any of us really be legal occupants of these lands? I concur, it's not anything genuine that i can tell, but i also dont know how to follow up and find out first hand... lol This practically belongs in the pit already - not literally though -
Most specifically, the 8 gua are representative of natural forces, but they are not all the natural forces, are they? the chinese 5 elements are not all the elements, and the chemical periodical tables aren't necessarily spiritual elements and thus would not be appropriate for immortality practice, would they? Most, most specifically is my creative endeavor to chart out 20 (21) elements and their relationships on a recreational medium (gaming), and the enormity of this project continues to outright astonish me at times; are these 20 elements applicable immortals? The Fire Immortal? The Earth Immortal? The Air Immortal? The Mind Immortal? The Thunder Immortal? The Ice Immortal? Bagua Zhang is but a place to start... preceeded, even, by controlled breathing... The path continues to unfold, but there are decisions to be made which affect the unfolding...

Questioning a supposed "master"
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to carbonbreath's topic in General Discussion
A true Rosicrucian "Master" would be teaching you about Alchemy, and the process would take a bit upward of 50 days, in roughly 7 intervals - no less than 350 days. I have yet to experiment with the alchemical process of separating and putrifying sea salt and Spring morning dew. BUT THAT IS THE TRUE ROSICRUCIAN PRACTICE. The elixer of life is supposed to bestow certain eccentricities upon the mind, but this sounds like a run of the mill pervert with an inkling of esoteric organizations. -

If you have thoughts about it, you're doing it wrong. Thoughts are the smallest and most subtle form(s) of interference with reality. The less one thinks, the less one interacts and thus the less one interferes.

What does "Qi cultivation" mean to you?
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to Rara's topic in General Discussion
"Qi Cultivation" means practicing an artform that is conductive to the generation, circulation, movement, and utilization of intrinsic omniversal energy (Qi) for the purposes of improving my health, wealth, and Qi Cultivation practice itself.- 36 replies

Native American Council Offers Amnesty to 240 Million Undocumented Whites
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan's topic in The Rabbit Hole
honestly wasnt sure if off topic or general discussion was more appropriate, but i do believe this is a worthy discussion regardless of where it "belongs". I cannot say for sure if this is a hoax - it sure oozes with it - but i can say that it strikes me as 'too little too late'. However, regardless of weather or not it turns out any results, i do think it is a worthy cause, and could be refined if nothing else. -

Give or take (+/-2) 37 total days of practicing at least once at more than 15 minutes (and one of those days was 3 5 minute sessions in one day, and i threw it in there for face, if nothing else). better than a quarter of the days. i did better than i thought i did
