i think it's because some people are the tent, and others are the tent bag -
I've noticed that many of us allocate an almost absurd amount of time to online activity. Be it internet gaming like first person shooters or MMORPGs, web surfing like 4chan and /b/, or textually engaging discourse via forums (Hi there, The Tao Bums!) we spend a tremendous amount of our time online. Many of us have what is suddenly referred to as a "real life" (as opposed to...?) which "interferes" with our online time, while others give the web little to no second thought and remain grounded in the reality "outside", however we're all crossing paths in various ways - sometimes unknowingly more than one or two, or even a handfull of ways! Anonymity, an appealing attraction in the first place. we may all know each other from a history online and not ever know it, or how/"who" (past tense). We now seem to have two worlds, both very real in and of themselves, yet one is discounted in some vague notion that a living person can "have no life". But why? Why are there, not only so many people online, but so many of them spending such an entirety of their time "here"? The anonymity example alone cannot explain it all. We may be attracted to (m)any of the seemingly infinite uses, exploits, services, and otherwise "attractions" the internet has, but one stands out above all else. An attractive feature of the internet, which appeals to the heart of hearts: both [the] anonymity and [the] community. I believe that, inherently, human beings are naturally self-sovereign, owing to no outside force, being, body, person, or individual their Life, Will, and (continued) Existence. The evidence being our world wide web. Every ounce of activity online is a genuine artifact of Human Individual Sovereignty. Forums especially exemplify the diversity of human beings and our thoughts, ideas, hopes, goals, dreams, and pursuits. This [diversity] is mutually shared amongst us all, and testament to our personal sovereign right to exist, act, and be as we are so willing. Our free will is exercised online with the LEAST AMOUNT OF RESISTANCE. So we gravitate toward the internet, as a place where we feel we are allowed to be genuine and true, without facade or veiled emotions. A True Community where we find people we can genuinely relate to without worry of consequence. To end my thoughts i ask one question: Why don't so many of us live offline as honestly and openly we do online?

that's a lively firey one! I'm also noticing more vividly and distinctly how closely the 3 petals resemble 3 of 6 circles in sacred geometry...

Passive Aggressiveness On The Spiritual Path
Vanir Thunder Dojo Tan replied to Harmonious Emptiness's topic in General Discussion
to note on balance and extremes, i picture that would be more comparable to the 64 hexagrams and putting each in a proper and harmonious resonance, as opposed to trying to use only one or another, or even a group out of the whole. Each having a harmonious, continuous, clashing, and halting interaction with the various others. Full yin is all stop. good only when suspense helps tune the audience into the moment, draw their anticipation before revealing; "what", is ever changing. A perpetual orchestration of experience. edit: this turned into a much longer post than intended. -

yes well, i am trying to relate to adjacent paths... I cannot claim my path as absolute [weather absolutely or only individually] without knowledge of other paths, now can i? Part of the natural path involves learning to accept what comes your way as it does, but that doesnt mean i cant try to attract it. How else could flowers pollinate with the practice of a completely different species if they did not have a practice of their own to attract the bees? My own practice being the embrace of nature is not attractive to most paths; specifically the financially consumed paths. -
I think the only reasonable course of action is to NOT MODERATE A DAMNED THING AT ALL EVER! UNLESS Someone reports a post. EVEN IF!!!! Even if a post goes against the terms of service.... it caused no harm! If someone reports a post, then and only then should ANY content on the forum be taken seriously enough to enforce moderative or administrative action. Only then can moderators act without pissing everyone off all at once.

Nature is the self-exemplified perfected state of being; autonomous. It isnt "deliberately" pointing anyone in any direction at all, but with an attentive awareness, the natural example is ever-present and needs only be observed. In my realization of "control" in life, i see nature as quite absolute and intrinsic... and autonomous nature is the only guide i trust in this world so far. Again, it is not an act of effort or guidance on the part of nature, but on the part of myself to follow nature's guidance. Like a signpost with ALL of life's answers. just sitting there, doing nothing. the majority of people pass it by, take it for granted, even interact with it maliciously, but i can read. i know that it is more than it appears. So i cherish nature above all else. In complete indignation sometimes. I am severely disappointed in the children of the Earth. That all being said, nature never told me to read many books Nor have my walks been guided to the feet of a master of any caliber. Though i am deeply interested in learning... I'll allow only nature to be my true master. ever master from there on out is only accepted through natural transmission, and as an equal-in-progress. -
