i was born with the recognition of facial expressions, micro and macro. it's definitely LIKE telepathy, but i havent "experimented" with it at all. i dont like feeling invasive, so i avoid looking people in the face a lot.

There is barely anything "correct" about many churches, but it isnt a whole people, just a lot that stick out. Some churches are composed of true people who are down to earth and willing to decipher truth from their bibles instead of swallow them whole.

I'm just here to relate when and where i can, and hope that others can relate to me from time to time. My Avatar is intended for a tatoo about "brain sized" on my back between my shoulders. My tattoo has prerequisites: it must be tattooed on in accordance to the principals of my own body; i.e. acupressure and acupuncture must be utilized during the process. Until i can encounter a tattoo artist who also knows enough about acupuncture and as well can afford their service, my tattoo will only be embedded in my mind and not my skin.

i have a thought, maybe even a full blown idea... Everyone define a member. We'll pick a member, preferrably someone who claims to be [a] Taoist, define them in our own words, and share it. That might better assist in a "taoist definition" than trying to define a subjective "taoist".

shame that people cant hug an autistic kid themselves... Tristan, 6 in June, has a fairly mild form of Autism, but can outpace a hydrogen bomb when his temper blows. He is a wonderful and loving kid though, and he loves a good hug. Why cant people just LOVE their children without technology? GRANTED, i understand the benefits, but they do not outweigh the alternatives which nature has everpresently supplied us.

Whoever said tough Love was ever, EVER "NICE"?!? that's ludicrous. Just because you are concerned of the well being of someone who is trying to kill you does not mean you cant harm them in order to protect yourself, but within the realm of necessity. There is no sense in harming your opponent in order to subdue them when all they have done is argue. If you've no choice, you've no choice. i can understand fully. You must do what needs to be done in order to protect and preserve your health. But i cannot help but hold in the highest esteem, a martial artist who treats their opponent as though they were fighting against themselves. Edit: think of it this way: It's tough love, the same you would apply to your children. Treat your opponent as an unruly offspring. Of course, if you're a 125 lb scrawny person up against a 350 lb body builder, i just hope you can either outrun the person, or you happen to have a cattleprod... Just dont go looking for trouble
