  5. No contact combat

Cool stuff. I bet he can be a really nice guy, knowing all of these things, probably not easily threatened too bad we can not ask him this ourselves. or is he available for questions in cyberspace somewhere also that anyone knows of ?
  6. Raw meat

or to say it in another way: how much meat would you need? and how much would you like? and what kind, and how, and is it realistic (i'm relatively sure it is absolutely a possibility and the outcome can be good or bad depending on everything else and what are the alternatives (worse ones and maybe even better ones) and in what kind of a direction is the step? and do you want to make it. and can it be a step forward or will it be a step back, and if a step back then something needs to be changed. (so i agree with you that at this time it's probably not the most effective way, considering many people's minds and knowledge. but even then there can be progression happening or the the reverse of progression (and doing nothing is probably also the reverse of progression, albeit slower. yes, they are all questions you can and should ask. but asking them in itself probably means it is possible. not impossible as your suggestion seems to be suggesting (in some way) and is it really only a matter of how (in its many possible ways) if the answer to the question of "why" is a positive/yes. ...just my opinion.
  7. Raw meat

In Germany (a neighbour country to me, and i am actually just 10 km from a German border) biologically grown food costs about the same as non-biologically grown, or maybe at the very most just cents more. They do this by subsidizing it. Even at the discount supermarkets there you can get biologically grown vegetables for very cheap. edit: at discount supermarkets biologically grown can be even cheaper than non-biologically grown from "fancy" supermarkets, fwiw.

  12. Raw meat

it is very important in my opinion to emphasize and generalize that ecological meat does not have the huge load of diseases and chemicals in it as 'industrial meat'. which is even a lot more important than whatever kind of diet you want for yourself and your health in my opinion. That, as really important have-to-know, having been said, i think you can ferment raw meat also to make it more safe. Have you googled that?
  13. Some interesting things about pankration and the diet of the athletes (pretty good diet i think) http://www.google.nl/search?hl=nl&q=pa...mp;aq=f&oq=
  14. There are machines that can speed up broken bone healing by almost 40% (so far) (for example the exogen. one of those more useful technologies along with things such as the Rife machines for various (almost all?) diseases. Wilhelm Reich his research in weather improvement (which is totally not a bad thing if it's used for good imo sustainable energies and living environments, enlightenment and de-oppression of people, and so on) I have also heard of a person who could heal/mend a broken bone in himself in minutes instead of months, but i don't remember who it was. I know the herb Symphytum increases cell division rates and can also be useful for various kinds of healing. My question though is if anyone knows about using chi to heal bones remarkably faster, and if so, what would be the ultimate speed you think?
  15. Anybody Ever Hear of This Guy?

life extension is not only choosing what to eat and how to eat it, but also on cultivation of plant species and so on in my opinion. the better you take care of plants, the better plants take care of you when you eat them. it's already a step to make have made fruits and vegetables and so bigger, but now it's also a good idea to try to make them as nutricious as possible and other kinds of welcome cultivation. just another 2 cents on it
  16. When reading about the methods explained in this topic http://www.thetaobums.com/index.php?showtopic=5395 "1. Cleanse Heart Mind 2. Small Water Wheel 3. Incubation 4. Large Water Wheel 5. Cultivate Infant ~Temper Emptiness to Gain Accordance with Tao ~" I thought there is a nice 'alternative explanation' on the definition of 'emptyness' in this video: http://www.consciousmedianetwork.com/members/dicke6.htm
  17. 'alternative explanation' of 'emptyness'

nice explanation and replies, thank you. maybe it would be better to say something like there is an interesting theory in that video that goes into talking about states not very known, understood and talked about.
  18. is there 'a way to learn' flexing a pineal gland? (a straight up question) and are there also things that could be said about it's benefits and possible cautions (if anything) by someone who can to do this?

  20. Dan Tiens -- real or imaginary?

i understand what you are saying, if you can feel energy there it doesn't mean that all of a sudden it's full, maybe it does mean that an empty vessel of sorts is there though. my question about an established dan tien would be, and perhaps in specific about the mo pai method, is once it is filled, are the benefits there to stay or if one stops the building practise will it go empty again just as well? hope to hear your opinions or experience.
  21. I just want to throw out here: If the chi you have at birth is supposedly all the chi you are ever going to get (i think this statement is at least half incorrect because: yes, 'chi' regulates many processes (both in your body and in the universe (and possibly beyond) if that was true then 1. it would be unwise to do anything with chi except circulate it and train it to use in dire circumstances and always try to not waste it and maybe not much more, except with what is necessary for you. But also: how does one explain someone like John Chang who is doing much more with chi than regular body processes and does seem to have enormous amounts of chi. I think it's more along the lines that you have probably also heard before: Everything is somehow connected. - And making use of that. One more thing: How do you explain John Chang pushing a wooden chopstick through a plate of wood of 1 inch thickness?
  22. Sources of Qi

The Qi that you can store in the lower dan tien vessel; where does it generally come from? Does it matter where it comes from? Would there be a most primary source, one could say? could one say one can pull it from the earth, pull it from the sky, pull it from (any kind of, or, certain kinds of) radiation? Can one pull it in by various ways? could one say pull it in from the palms of the hands, the soles of the feet, the crown of the head, the air through the lungs, the pores of the skin? It doesn't make a difference, does it? ...discuss... ----

  24. Chips Ahoy

if more than 3/4 the people here are wise and 1/4 are not, then i still think we can be ok. just my own opinion and a sort of guesstimate. worth thinking about though of course. but i still think the above can be true most of the time, depending on a whole variety of things, but still..... by the way, from recalling previous threads; it seems it is yet quite unsure if the maker of that video has only theoretical knowledge or if there is actual experiential knowledge involved as well.
