There already was a pain thread, I don't remember how that ended but pain doesn't fit into pleasurable category with many people. How about it being part of your training? There's a lot of qi gong being used to relieve stress and used as something that's pleasurable and a nice thing to do for health. How about some painful nei gong that's not so nice? Would you keep doing it? What do you think about it?

By the way, Does tummo hurt? I know a similar meditation that creates heat but it can't be done outdoors and it uses muscles and right breath and it's kinda painful Speaking of breath, reverse breathing is kinda painful too, isn't it?

Right, the longer you feel pleasure, the least pleasurable it gets longer you feel pain, the worse it gets

Hmmmm weird, I heart it's the other way around The pleasurable feelings that the body feels come from chemicals that it produces and the longer they interact with the nervous system, the less sensitive it becomes, that's why drug addicts sometimes do crazy things like injecting drugs right into their eyeballs. But with pain it's also hard to get a right feeling for chi. While pleasure weakens the system itself, pain is like a current that goes through it and takes up all the space that would be used by other kinds of chi. Kinda like a plug, it could leave blockages or blockages could be caused by what causes pain in the first place. The right kinda of pain is needed. Not a big pro on pain, just been told many reasons why I shouldn't stop doing the horse stance

I had somewhere a collection of short stories by one author but I don't remember the name I remember some stories so tell me if they sound familiar One story was used as art for the cover, in it an alien needed to find skin of some creature that doesn't exist on their planet anymore but he went to hunt for it anyway. Meanwhile, human astronauts land of that planet and set up a camp or something. Alien finds them and identifies them as the missing creature and sets traps around camp. In one trap he put diamonds because he heard these creatures love diamonds. Humans get scared eventually and leave but the alien gets the skin of one of them anyway. On the cover of the book was one of the human's space suits hoisted like a flag. Another interesting story was about a restaurant told from different perspectives. There was a waitress who worked very hard for a regular customer because she had an impression that he came only because she was cute or something. Then the same story was told from the chef's perspective who though the customer came only because the food was good and so he kept making it more and more fatty. Then the story was told from the customer's perspective, he kept coming because the atmosphere was good. The story was just describing every day in the restaurant and how chef and waitress were very proud of themselves first but then the customer died and they blamed their food and cuteness for killing him. This story was even used in class somewhere before I moved to Canada Another story I head was very popular, for its steamy parts I bet. There was this veery pretty lady who was bored or something and she was thinking of cheating on her husband or something. Just when she was thinking that, a new vacuum cleaner arrived to her home but she didn't order one. The computer inside the vacuum fell in love with her and delivered itself to her home... and started doing things *COUGH!!!* Another story was about a person who never been to Earth and when he went on a vacation there, or went to live, he saw a stand where you could shoot women or something creepy like that. Then he was a shop where they sold love, but he didn't understand what they were talking about so he ordered some. They gave him a girl to go on a date with then she had to come back to the shop and his feelings started to get all mixed up. And then he went to the stand. There was the most peaceful looking planet ever. One day some people from Earth needed some youths from that planet to join the army. To show that their planet was normal, everyone made sure everyone had their roles straight. While doing that, they found out that THEY NEED A CRIMINAL. So, one guy was made to be the thief and all the people in his town supported him with it and gave their own stuff and were all smiley about it. When Earthlings came, they were kinda confused. OK one more, this was the biggest story in the book collection. This story is almost like Futurama and maybe inspired it a little. Just a normal person was driving down the road, when he crashed into another car and died. The moment he died, people from the future caught his soul and put it into another body. Saving him was a stunt the company pulled to make themselves look good and the rescue was used in a commercial. The guy was then left to walk around THE FUTUUUURE. It was a very good story and in the book, such a tease, the final page of the story was on the right side of the book as you read it and it looked like if you turn the page, the story would continue but it woooooooont.

You Sounds more like something tulku would say without any decent explanation but this is something I was told about and told to remember Everyone was perfectly enlightened before we started to exist in a world like this We had ultimate power and could be anything and do everything Just a part of the universe, or just the universe itself When we became born we came here with the same mindset as an enlightened being, our bodies are even designed after the universe But this world is different and we became different when we started to grow up We were a part of everything and we owned everything and that's why we could get anything we wanted from our parent as babies by screaming When we became older we developed an ego that made us think that we are separate from the world and we lost our memory We look at our bodies and our hand and think there's a distance between what our hands can touch and the sky It's a duality type of world where there's us and there's them In the nothingness there wasn't anything else and that's why we had the power Here is a different experience, it's short and unimportant There are so many more people and they do all their people stuff Seems like a there's a limit to what we can do but this is another form of freedom aaa started rambling again

In the first Avatar show there was a war between all the nations. Bending was the main way of fighting and the world was less technologically advanced. Because of the first comet and Fire Nation's new technology, like tanks, they got the upper hand for most of the series. The only way for there to be peace, the Avatar must defeat the Fire Lord. Defeating him is more of a political type of move. Iroh explained that if he beat his brother, the history would say that it's just another power struggle between brothers in the royal family. Avatar would be a neutral outside thing that stops the struggle because the Avatar is always seen as the good guy and only one person who is outside of the system. The Avatar won, happy end and everything worked out, you know the show. In the future the technology started to be more advanced reliable and used very commonly. Because of the technology the bending starting to become less useful since technology can do some of the same things and be used by non-benders. Bending was mostly used for fighting in the past and so they organize bending tournaments for entertainment. Bending itself is starting to loose its power and can mostly be used for violence. There are gangs of benders who are stronger then normal folks, to fight the gangs there is a bending police force. It would be nice if bending could only be used by the police but the gangs are still stronger then most normal people and so there is crime. When bending is seen as cause of violence and the cause of many wars in the past, the resistance forms where normal people go against benders. Bending doesn't have any safe footing and is being pushed out by the technology and the resistance. Soon enough there will be no place left for bending, in the cartoon. Because energy follows the course of less resistance, people will look for easier ways to do things and technology will prosper and push out things people have no faith in anymore. Maybe right now we are loosing things that are more important then we think.
