Religion and philosophy are not a part of some people's lives, they are just a small part of infinite possibilities that people can face. 'There are as many paths as there are people on earth', goes the saying. Paths that don't have a start or finish, don't have a distance or destination to walk to, but there's always a movement no matter what happens. There's no step back even if something bad happens, there's always something to learn and there's a place for it to happen.

Ah yes, welcome to another installment of 'threads dedicated to'. This nonspecific moment in time we talk about Gintama. I discovered magical wonders of Gintama many years ago, and since then I kept forgetting about it because One Piece is awesome. And even if One Piece really is awesome, I don't want to forget Gintama which I keep in a special locker somewhere in my heart. What was the damn combination again? Gintama is a silly manga and anime that is full of action and a unique sense of humor. The story takes place in a parallel universe where instead of westerners coming to Japan, aliens came and forced japan to trade with them without any of that closing off from the world stuff. Because of the aliens the world changed in ways that make it look like our world with TV, Internet, video games, and all the modern stuff to make jokes about. The main character of the story is Gintoki Sakata who used to be a samurai before the world changed so dramatically. His actions are unpredictable and you can almost never guess what's going on in his head, but he is good natured and follows his own bushido. I see him as wise and while he is in a way a little weird, he seems like a taoist to me. The set up for story arcs seems very weird and comical at first but by the time it end, you kinda learn something... or the author wants to seem smart or something but he just cracks puns... wait... ANYWAY It's real great and you should check it out.

Wow... This is getting interesting... Have you guys ever wanted to write something for one thread but then decided not to and then another seemingly unrelated thread shows up that has the same answer as the last one and it keeps happening until you write something like this? I'm not very good at adding billion quotes into one post but I hope you get the reference without any quotes *bow* Let's say there's this guy who can see more then most people can. He sits under a tree, wears only rugs, and he absorbs energy from the tree for sustenance. He is very wise and many people come to him with questions and many people want to pay him something as thanks, others want him to work for them but he doesn't go anywhere and takes no payment. He gives answers for free. He knows his body is not real him and the material gains can't add to anything he already has. He teaches for free because when he sees someone come to him for answers, he sees himself.

Haha a happy person is not defined by how many happy moment he has compared to unhappy ones, or at least he shouldn't do that. The worst thing a person can do for his happiness is wait for it, how can you just wait and expect the world to make you happy if you have no control over it? You could just live your life and put happy moments into one category and unhappy into another and then avoid the bad things. Just thinking about the bad things will make more of them. Remember poor ol' Gill from Simpsons? Happiness shouldn't be defined because if you think you know what it is, you will be miserable when you loose it. Like if you think you're happy when you drive your awesome car and then it gets stolen later. The actual happiness is something that's already forgotten and taken for granted. For it to be actually eternal, you need to remember that you are already happy. Happiness is a thing that can be created out of more happiness. It's always there but people forget about it. Everyone was born happy. That happiness is always there even during the bad moments, but the bad moments make you forget you had it. Once you remember you have it, you can see it everywhere and the others can see it, too. That's when you make more of it.
