>>bows<< In Chinese there is a saying : Kan Tian Fu. Don't need the characters. haha It means Look at Heavenly Blessings. Kind of like saying it is a gift from the heavens that one has such "amazing" abilities, or even the capacity to comprehend certain things. It is said that when one has a great skill in learning gongfu, it is "tian fu", the same with playing music, and here with cultivation. Heaven's fortune, like outstanding things upon a person, does play a certain part in everyone's life. This is basically one's own good karma that seems to be out of the ordinary fortune of living beings, but plainly is just one's good karma with a touch of Heavenly blessings. Regardles, one must work hard as you say. SOmetimes our diligence is appreciated, honored, and we are given a good push from powerful places, and our skills increase. Cultivation is amazing, it works in all areas of anything, and leaves no stone unturned within the mind...which is all places and no places. Fun. Peace and Blessings, Aiwei

This dissing within the Daoist lineages started in the west. Never has it been that way out here in China. If you had the goods, then you were respected, if you had nothing, then you were rejected. Some cultivation lineages, not of china, went as far as to put one infront of the whole clan, and if one couldn't produce what they said they could, one would be killed, for letting a liar of cultivation live is putting poison into the masses. Fun. Peace and Blessings, Aiwei

I agree. I'm not one for talking ill about any cultivator, yet...I was never a fan of Micheal Winn.

And that is all the power one will actually ever need.

Only those who are not in proper cultivation fear those who are. How can people fear others cultivation? When those who fear are not honest. And if Lama Dorje is looking to monpolize it wouldn't matter because if his cultivation is false, it will bring him down hard. THose in the frontline of commercial cultivation fear their positions becauses they too are unsure of another's cultivation. How can one be sure of another's cultivation? Only by cultivating selflessness. Though I strongly am not for the publicizing of abilities Lama Dorje is presenting, that doesn't mean I believe Lama Dorje 100%. Basic Qi Gong cultivation can lead one to have bouncing legs, and spontaneous movements. Lots of things can manifest during large groups cultivating Qi Gong. In either case, when others fear they wil lloose students, it shows an improper cultivation of virtue, and an empowering of greed and ignorance which will inturn lead to anger. And it has happened. Pay no attention to those talking ill of any cultivator. It is simply ignorance. Peace and Blessings, Aiwei

Secrecy is really for those who lack the faith, and or Virtue to fully uphold teachings which result in spiritual powers. THis is another reason why the Buddha did not publicize powers, and told his disciples not to publicize any power whatsoever. People look at powerful beings as gods, and mistake ability for wisdom. This is why certain things are reserved for some and not for others. It is the same with Gong Fu. You don't give your skills to those who lack the compassion for others, you hold it back and make it hard to get. THis makes the seeker humble, and or puts them in the place of mind to drop ego, and change their life. Not all , but some do. Daoist and Buddhists hold to secrecy in certain manners of cultivation unless the disciple shows high virtue, good moral and respect for living beings. Peace and Blessings, Aiwei

There is nothing superstitious here. Each person has a different energetic constitution. If sleeping without blankets doesn't harm you generally and literally, then there is no problem. But if one is getting back pains, and other problems, it is a sign of energetic problem. As for anal sex, ..no matter how pleasurable it is, it does no good for the body. It helps to drain anal fulids which are Yin Qi and causes great leakage of energy from the body. It wastes energy of the receiver, dulling their mind and draining their Shen. It does not good whatsoever, except for personal greedy sexual gratification. The one giving receives bacteria in the penis, which will eventually cause health problems, as well as receive toxic energy from the anus, no matter how one cleans it. The whole ordeal is not proper, and was taught to society to dull the minds of everyone. It turns people into Qi-less zombies. It is not proper cultivation under any proper method to have anal sex. Some cultures kill anyone found entertaining anal sex in private. No benefit. Peace and blessings Brother. :-) It is up to one's own constitution on how they can handle certain things. People get ill from heat-wind as well. It all depends on their ability to withstand. I have a close friend hom in the winter is a steam oven, and wears very thin clothing, and in the summer is the same. I have told him to take caution of not utilizing that heat in the winter , not to waste it. He didn't listen, and now in the winter he is beginning to feel the cold, though he still has some heat emanating. For me, in the summer, my skin is cool, body comfortable inside. in the winter, inside is comfortable, and my skin is warmed just enough so there is no excessive wasting/using energy to keep warm. Why use what I cultivate to just simply keep warm...I can wear thicker clothing.. haha Though we were born without a blanket, it is up to how one mentally and physically handles outer influences. Because of modernization, our bodies have become weaker. Peace

I did some testing of the mail system out here recently becuse I was thinking of providing this service properly. Lots to work on. BUT, I found the mailing system of CHina to be unreliable, and since I am not a big company, it would end up in big losses for me and the customer. Definetly not worth it. People sent me things from the u.s. just as a test, and I had some trouble receiving. Mail sent in China has a hard time arriving, let alone going out to the states. I would wait a bit before offering this service. The mailing system out here is still ...in the dark. Peace and Blessings.

Wow, you ar so deluded. It is very possible a Tree can have a spirit that was once had a human body. The same with rocks. It is called Karma. A process very little know about and everyone says they are experts on. Peace and Happiness. Aiwei.

Vegetarianism 1 Vegetarianism 2 Vegetarianism 3 Vegetarianism 4 Despite what Daoist texts say is okay to eat, living beings are still living beings. And killing them for whatever reason is still killing them. Have fun eating meat. It doesn't change the fact of Quan Zhen Pai not eating meat. Some monks may personally do so, but that is their own problem. Many in the Zheng Yi Pai are vegetarian as well. Something about it being more pure for cultivation to make light bodies ;-) Beancurdturtle, These videos of my Shifu will answer your questions of sentience directly. Peace and Happiness, Aiwei

I never read the article, but such a thing is due to cultivation from previous lifetimes which refine over time, and once a new body is acquired, the amount of "momentum" from past cultivation functions in transforming the physical body to fit its energetic level of vibration. That is how we have certain physical attributes with our bodies. That is why in this lifetime, some people can develop certain abilities easier than others. It is in the energetic function which transfroms the genes, not the genes themselves. The genes are just the outcome, the mirror image, of the cultivation at time of birth. The genes that can uphold the function of such energy are only conduits of the refined energy. A tool that is evolved/transformed at the time of the bodies growth in the womb. It can be changed throughout one's lifetime...they just have to diligently cultivate in order to see results. Peace, Aiwei

Nice list, but Vegetarianism is of the Dao. The Way isn't only in terms of human needs sustanence, so eat an animal. I know Daoists of great cultivation who are only vegetarian. I know vegetarians who are alive now at 90+ yrs old, Monks who have been vegetarian for the last 40 somewhat, if not more, years. There is a way to do it. And that means knowing what to eat, and eliminating alot of the unecessary additives like Sugar. A lot of vegetarians do not know how to cultivate such a manner. Eating animals does not assist in good cultivation it only fills the stomach. If mind is proper, emotions at rest, then one will succeed. If there are monks who are old and brittle from their not eating meat, that is such of Karma. If monks, both Buddhist and Daoist, eat vegies just to subdue the emotions and leave their body to rot, then that may be the expedient they need for their cultivation. It doesn't seem like they would do such a thing though. Eating vegetables does give enough power to function. If one is looking to fill their belly, then that is where the problem is. Hunger is not something that one should be controlled by. There are cultivators who get up early in the morning and practice for a few hours. By noon they eat vegetarian, and by evening they eat more vegies if hungry. If not they do what they do and then go to rest. There is too much misconceptions of vegetarianism. Too many people not cultivting it properly and only hurting themseves because they think it is enough to just eat a vegetable. They have to eat many.. not just 2 carrots...hahaha Peace, Aiwei

Funny thing about the word consciousness. It basically means anything with its "own" manner of energetic vibration. Good food, good thoughts. Bad food, bad thoughts. Peace, Aiwei

I never thought so. I was insinuating agreeing with you. I do lcultivate putting down. Cultivate with the words death pasted on my forehead! Sometimes less says more. But for those who need vast explanations, they are there too. Peace, Aiwei

Beacurdturtle, your questions and answers : Some serious questions - though they sounds silly. If I eat a lot of Tofu, will I come back as a soy bean plant? No...hahaha If not, why does the principle apply to one kind of living thing and not another? Answer: Because the consciousness of plants and animals differ greatly. The consciousnes of plants is not that of a flesh being which has a consciousness to think with a distinctive mind. Eating it will not result in becoming it, but will result in purifying the body for the plants are of Earth's primal energy, and much more closer to purity, less afflictions... basically none. Though our bodies all come from the elements, the only difference is our consciousness. Or are there two different principles for different types of living things? Answer: the principle of karma is the same for all living beings. With plants it is just that their consciousness actually is more fitting to non afflictions than meat. To get meat, there is opposition from the living being being killed. From the plant, there is none. It is still, and such will be the mind. How does one know the different types of living things that belong to the different principles? Answer: Principle is the same, it is consciousness, the conditions of the living beings which differ. One must meditate. If it's based on a class of living thing, who decides what class applies to which? Answer: There is no class. If it's based on sentience, who decides what level of sentience applies to which principle? Answer: It is not based on sentience. I have no argument with your assertion. As you know, I've learned a great deal about Buddhism from you and I greatly appreciate it. I'm asking because I would like to know more about the details concerning your assertion. Peace Brother.
