  1. The Japanese books written by Tadashi Kanzawa have been translated into English. Kanzawa was featured on the History Channel as a "Stan Lee's Superhuman" for his abilities to put various animals to sleep using "ki". The books were mostly translated by a Neurology/Physiology graduate Nimish Pratha and are currently being sent to people for free for a promotion. http://www.wheelofknowledge.org The Promotion has Ended Books are now available here: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=tadashi+kanzawa The books are mostly centered around healing. His abilities to put animals to sleep seem to be connected with healing the animals through Kiryo or "nerve transmission exchange" and causing them to relax and feel un-threatened.
  2. The promotion is over, they are on amazon now, but if anyone wants a copy just PM me i have an extra.

  4. Is enlightenment really desirable?

Although my point was never that LSD or mushrooms were examples of enlightenment, so relating them to Lao Tzu or Buddha is irrelevant. I was using LSD as an example to explain that experiential states of being cannot be conceptualized and must be experienced to be understood.
  5. Is enlightenment really desirable?

What's your point? I was simply making an example. Psilocybin mushrooms have been used in initiation ceremonies in both Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism, and possibly even Taoism.
  6. Is enlightenment really desirable?

Experiential states of being cannot be understood through ideas and descriptions. This is the difference between knowing the path and walking the path. It's like thinking you know what taking LSD is like because your friend told you about it.
  7. Is enlightenment really desirable?

The first question would be, "do you know what enlightenment is?" Enlightenment can't be described because it is an experiential state of being. After knowing what it is then you can evaluate if it is really desirable. (for others..).
  8. Thread discussing if non-vegan diets are sustainable in the modern age and moving forward into the future.
  9. Are Non-Vegan Diets Environmentally Sustainable?

Animal-based foods are generally more resource-intensive and environmentally impactful to produce than plant-based foods. Beef production requires 20 times more land and emits 20 times more greenhouse gas emissions per unit of edible protein than common plant-based protein sources such as beans, peas and lentils. Chicken and pork are more resource-efficient than beef, but still require three times more land and emit three times more greenhouse gas emissions than beans. When it comes to resource use and environmental impacts, the type of food eaten matters as much, if not more, than how that food is produced. Environmental impacts based on diet Land Use based on diet.

  12. In the movie Crocodile Dundee, the main character, Crocodile Dundee, is in Australia and puts a large water buffalo to sleep using his mind. This seems like some ancient aboriginal method, he calls it an "old bushman's trick" in the movie but I have yet to find any real historical correlations. Note: Of course there is Tadashi Kanzawa who does this in real life, but he also doesn't claim any historical correlations. (at least to my knowledge).

No actual proof of moon landing. Any that may have existed are destroyed/missing. http://www.wakingtimes.com/2018/01/27/evidence-prove-moon-landings-real-goes-completely-missing-nasa/
  14. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great [is] that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:22 Im thinking this passage is referring to having one's mind (eye that is single) on truth causes them to become full of light.. Of course it also seems like an esoteric reference to opening the actual third eye. Any thoughts?
  15. "Minor Death" in Longmen Pai

There is a point in meditation where reality floods in. This complete observance is the dissolution of self. What happens to "you" at that point, well it isn't surprising if the body stops breathing. Thought is what perpetuates breath; the autonomic systems of the body can actually be controlled.

  23. MY ODYSSEY IN EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL MARIAL ARTS

Any thoughts on Tibetan martial arts? Have any of your systems been influenced by Tibet? Exercising the kidneys sounds interesting to me. I can see that being beneficial, I believe sitting a lot is bad for the kidneys, which most modern people do. I wonder if your teachers describe the experience of opening the third eye? Who is this BO MA..? Bhodhidharma?
