  1. Can Meditation be bad for you ?

meditation doesn't work as long you fight pointless battles on the net. science is always evolving so the current research may not be relevant as there are countless unpublished experiments and hypothesis being conducted as of yet, even more so that do not support the pharmaceutical agenda. I invite you to join your own body in Zhan Zhuang and experience modern advancements. I SING THE BODY ELECTRIC.
  2. Can Meditation be bad for you ?

yes, judging from my personal experience, it is not good to go and seek out powerful experiences, rather much better to start gently small periods, consistently daily. However, having had powerful mescaline experiences that I still feel unresolved effects 3 years after I still feel like I weld a great tool and no amount of personal depression has had a definite victory upon me. There shouldn't be a fearful approach to depression, if it's in the family then it will come time to process it, otherwise one will become a puppet for the pharmaceuticals. I say this because the greatest compassion that psychiatrists and phD's can prescribe is in the pill form and they don't concern themselves with healing and resolving, integrating, getting lasting results. Go do your meditation, develop a consistent practice, let your experience be your teacher. We hear stories of people becoming psychotic, but we don't actually hear of their experience past that, maybe they came out of that experience with grace. Our experience is valid, BREATH IS A HELL OF A DRUG.

  4. DECENT human beings, qigongers, help.

    so... do more meditation?
  5. The "Vampire spot"

I have the answer, but what would be the point in just giving it away, the journey of discovery will prove to be a more fascinating endeavor...
  6. Where to find a genuine qigong master?

Going to see a psychotherapist may not be that helpful as it is proclaimed. It's just a general knowledge so as not to get sued, by the liable parties. A psychotherapist is any other person. If you look at the tenets of a psychological organization they don't got values not to drink, yet they do have a moral code. Going to see a psychotherapist it is important to see a qualified one, knowing this, it is important to understand that the general population of psychotherapist are females. At the same time there are a lot of practicing professionals who don't appear healthy, either they look fat or carry bad posture. Think about it, in this profession they are required to sit the whole day at the office. In my experience I have learned to rely on my practice. I see a psychotherapist, because it is required for my masters program (MFT). Yet, I can't say it helped that much, since what ever it brought up in my opening up to this person that I'm paying, all those issues still had to be resolved on my own in my private practice. However I would like to acknowledge that I might have a different practice than a lot of people talk about, yet I have found it the closest to the water method. Michael Brown, declined to make money of his knowledge (www.thepresenceportal.com, click on audio then on-one-one for a breakdown of his emotional integration practice), yet he has a book theough Namaste publishing that served me and introduced me to his work The Presence Process. When I understood the procedure in this book, I was able to apply it to ZZ. So yes, and no shit hahahahaha, mental health issues will be cured through meditation, IME, that's just progress, there's no way out, the only way is through them. It's all about not so much feeling better, but getting better at feeling- M. Brown
  7. My first full lotus experiences

I can feel very different effects in FL then in ZZ. It's amazing. I never thought I'd come to this position in my journey. The seed was planted to try it 3 weeks ago. I saw Wim Hof (The Iceman) sitting in full lotus in just shorts in a snowy environment and doing his Tummo to warm himself up. Then this topic was just a catalyst and encouragement to try it out on a personal level.
  8. Go here and just follow this, you'll be set for life http://thepresenceportal.com/One-onone%20session.htm I could talk about it long, I'd rather be short, The more you focus on something the more you become in tune with it/desensitize from it, this practice is focusing on negative emotions to learn to feel that negative shit, it takes time to develop the taste, but youll get high on fear, anger, and sadness, thats a promise combine it with standing tree... breath out
  9. insect bite release sick qi

The other day I was ZZing and then an insect came and bit my toe, the next day it came and bit at the same spot (cause I was barefoot) the experience of biting was painful and beatiful at the same time. The insect knows human meridians and will bite at the right spot to release sick energy, oh beauty!!!
