  1. I'm going to ride into town on a...

I would like a white tiger to jump through the hospital window, throw me onto it's back, and disappear into the wilderness when it comes time for me to leave the world.
  2. Coconut milk

    I like almond milk also.
  3. enlightenment happens right now, since it is the blossoming of our natural state and not something other than what we already are. It is not an object to be acquired, so looking beyond for it we've already missed the whole point.
  4. Religion

That sounds like a nice excuse to avoid adding any actual substance to what you say. Don't expect people to have a 'real discussion' on baseless claims, or change themselves for a 'truth' you can't clearly explain in a way they can understand.
  5. Those are some hilariously selfish statements, yes. Reminds me of a person(s) that used to hang around here.
  6. Religion

I know what you are saying, I think. Really a religion is just a set of doctrines and/OR beliefs and protocols which do not neccesarily need to be related to any sort of 'God'-like figure and so a doctrine such as Buddhism before the deification of the Buddha could have been considered an atheist religion, being concerned not with any 'supreme being' but with the cessation of suffering. (and the steps toward that end). I do not adhere to any faiths, doctrines or teachings. There is nothing here on this world which I take as a given or accept on the grounds of belief, and that includes the physical, mental and 'spiritual' worlds, anything I think, anything I do or another does, what I look like on any given day or whether what I'm seeing is 'real' or not. Actually, when I first started seeking, my view was entirely clinical and scientific in nature - mostly, it still is. I simply deconstruct all experience utilizing whatever tools are available to me, and that includes quantum physics, computer science, motion physics, geometry and arithmetic, meditation, dance, art, music, the 6 senses, 'awareness', anything else I figure out how to use, and then make note of what I find.
  7. Religion

I don't believe in 'supernatural stuff', everything that cultivation causes within the human system can be explained scientifically through nature. However, the current paradigms of science also need to be updated in order to keep up with this rapidly evolving nature, so sticking only to what science has currently 'proven' will not work when exploring these 'new' fields of experience.
  8. The thing about God Realization is, you have to be that Sun. Begging for it, craving for it will not make it so. You must have the face of the Buddha to see him, and you must create your own eternal bliss.
  9. Men and desire for power

My teacher is the Tao of nature, and the masters refer to it lovingly as mother. Denigrating the feminine to a position second to the masculine is the age old folly which leads to the downfall of civilizations, because the highest possesses both principles in their entirety and is neither. Just because you are biased does not mean the Tao takes sides - it takes two to tango, and who can say that this harmonious dance lies on just one side of the spectrum when it is the resonance between opposites that creates perfection? No, I say you are projecting your own dualistic ideas about divinity on to a mystery that transcends polarity. I've been There, I've seen That, and it does not have a penis nor a long white beard.
  10. Men and desire for power

Oh really? The Mother of God would most definitely disagree with you. Have you been to the higher kalpas? Have you entered the void? Or is this just a fanciful projection on the unknown?
  11. Indeed. Suns are stars just like those 'tiny' sparks you see in the sky, and even a sun is nothing compared to the universe at large. They only look small because you are far away. They only seem bright because you are too close. In the middle of it all, it's just right.
  12. The buddha is already here, God is already here. Thus, he will not appear some time in the future, being now. Perhaps what truly shines through is the innate perfection of the human being as-is rather than some other thing.
  13. What would be "heaven" for a Taoist? :D

That's not funny, my wife died that way and I became a wandering bum inadvertently skilled with drunken fist in the process
  14. Knocking on the tenth gate

What is the difference between soul and spirit and why does it matter?
  15. Visited by translucent beings

You're probably hallucinating. I was so tired once while laying down that my bedroom melted into my bathroom and I was suddenly standing up looking at myself in the mirror, I once woke up to a glowing phantom of my brother sitting on my bed twitching like a horror film with a ridiculous smile on his face, one time the fan in my room started talking to me before I popped into a lucid dream. I woke up once to a small child patting me on the head and then running into my computer desk which was transforming into a tree house. Another time I woke up to a portal above my bed which I was being pulled into. One of my favorites was waking up to a memory of myself as an indian flirting with an incredibly beautiful woman, before my 'window of awareness' proceeded to pan out to a PSP gaming device which was apparently playing the memory, which shut off and disappeared when I realized what was going on. Basically, what I'm saying is shit happens. When 'you' wake up ahead of your body, your mind will definitely play with you. The question is really how and why, rather than if. Expectations are everything when it comes to sleep paralysis, and fear of the unknown usually colors most peoples experience. But this could be something else, who knows?
  16. Have you considered that this, and your desperate craving for bliss, may be a symptom of something else, like a strong craving for love? Lots of people mistake the need for unity for sexual dissatisfaction when the real problem is above the belt. Just something to think about.
  17. Smoking is a type of meditation

You don't need a cigarette to breathe in and out... you can do that on your own. Likewise, you could really spend all your time pondering things and letting go of preconceptions without attaching ritual times, implements or spaces to it. Your body will wither away, but you will not. You will continue on, and just as that self will continue on, so will the reflexive tendencies it engraves in it's DNA through experience. Your cosmic lineage will continue throughout beginningless time just as it has been.
  18. It's good to start cultivating young so that you won't have to deal with, or will be able to handle better, the problems, mistaken notions, wrong patterns of energy movement and thought loops that people develop as they grow 'up' in our unhealthy society. I'm black and my head is doing fine. As turtle shell says, it's no problem.
  19. Relaxation is an art form. Simplicity is lost in our convoluted society, and so it's no wonder that we forgot how to enjoy our lives and thus need hundreds of books on the subject. What is sex, what is sexual pleasure anyway? Rising and falling, coming and returning. What is life? Sudden expansion. What is death? Sudden contraction. What is the breath? Rising and falling, expansion and contraction, prana and apana. Fixing this firmly in mind, rising with the moment and falling with the moment, never losing balance for a second, one does not rise or fall, but is floating. The sensation of free-fall is the orgasmic pulsation, the simple bliss of suspended animation. You cannot go into free-fall with any stress, else you will grasp in confusion. Grasping in confusion, you will contract into a bundle of stress. When one falls without rising, there is the shadow of death, the fear which precedes loss.
  20. Ejaculation is a stress response. The unhealthy mental correlation between pleasure and stress results in an irrational fear of death via orgasm that manifests in outward ejaculation, an attempt to hold on to the deeply rooted numbness of 'mundane' life (used to be actual danger, now it's just complacency) and protect what is not even really your self. If it sounds ridiculous, that's because it is. We aren't seconds away from being mauled by a tyrannosaurus rex anymore, so we should do our best to dissolve these stress triggers. Breathe slowly, move slowly and savor the moment, relax instead of contract and take a breather when you get too stressed and you will be fine. Don't start rushing towards some 'end' just because it starts becoming pleasurable or the pleasure will be diminished along with you.
  21. I did perceive your jibe, but I found it rude and so did not respond. I knew what you were trying to point out and it seems to me that you do not understand what I am saying, so I will cease this 'dialogue'.
  22. How do I know it will be the wrong answer? Because the experience and the answer are inseparable This existence which we have is just like a question - is this computer really here? Are you sure? Is that a human you're looking through? Are you sure? What is the earth, what is humanity, what is all of this? It would be impossible to answer any of these questions without being here right now. It would be impossible to answer the question of existence without existing. This discussion that is called life can only be answered through living it. An innocent child is immersed in living the life, an adult may only be speculating on it, pretending to know. Knowing IS experiencing in naked receptivity. If a being is able to transmit the truth, it knows it. It is, or has, in some form or another, experienced it or is experiencing it. Whether or not it understands it is something entirely different. Understanding is the stabilization of the experiencing. Transmission is experiencing, and so the presence of the enlightened being reflects the lesson learned. There are no 'other ways' other than experience. Whether it be 'telepathy', clairvoyance, or a sudden burst of omniscience, it is the experience of those things and not the things themselves which convey the truth, and so to speak of things is to be ignorant of the truth - that the lesson is in living it. That is ignorance. Not comprehending the self as being everywhere, mistaking one's self as a material appearance, not knowing the mechanisms which they are entrenched in.
  23. No. It will be wrong, and a wrong answer is not something which can be dwelled upon or accepted - it is in itself a question, a veil over the truth. A lie. People cant answer questions which they don't know the answer to, and knowledge can only be gained through experience. You have to experience that answer fully and completely before you could ever transmit it to another being. If they do choose to respond to those questions, they will not be giving any sort of real response, they will not be able to address the issue being questioned, they will be adding only ignorance to the discussion. Tantamount to saying nothing, but much more harmful because they are being willfully ignorant of further clarity instead of allowing for the experience to illuminate their understanding. They can pretend to answer the question without the experience, but it's just pretend. Speculation. If their comprehension is not complete, they will just be blowing smoke, potentially deflecting others from the truth. In fact, you see this all the time in politics. This is actually a big problem in our society, hastily making up conclusions without full comprehension of the object of experience is the bedrock of ignorance.
  24. Be done with knowledge

Fair enough. Have a wonderful day.
