ever wondered why you can control everything in your dream, when you are lucid dreaming ? its because you know that its not the truth, its not real, you know that when you will wake up that will be the real reality, this is just illusion in other words you are anchored in this reality as being true, thats why you can control anything which is not true compare to this reality this is your anchor the time you realize you are dreaming, you become lucid, you become aware that its illusion and whoa you can fly, you can create, destroy universes, you are the creator , the destroyer of your dream if you want such control over this very reality you are living right now, than you have to anchor yourself to the real truth a truth which is real compare to this reality you have to realize the truth when you will realize it, you will see that this reality is also dreamlike compare to that truth than and at that time you will gain complete control over this reality, you can do whatever you want i think thats why enlightened saints can do such miraculous things because they are anchored in the real truth that truth has many names some call it para brahma, some call it the Tao, some call it GOD seek it

i dont know whther someone noticed it before or not but there seems to be some connection between taoist practices and white skin complexion check these quotes now this is interesting because i have never read about any connection between skin complexion and cultivation besides here in taoism i am assuming, people in china normally dont have that type of white as ice skin so this must have something to do with immortality anyone noticed any change in complexion with taoist practices ? i would like to add one thing as far as i know mind can do everything so its not a big deal to change complexion using mind (people suffering with multiple personality disorder show many unbelievable and genetic changes in body in instant like changing eye color, scars disappearing, skin color changes etc which can only be attributed to mind) but whats interesting here is that taoist cultivation is not aimed at achieving white complexion, its a side benefit (if its true) so if its true that immortals are really white because of their internal practices, it would be interesting know why and how this happens ?

it could be because of karma, dont know but you can certainly change your appearance using your mind literally mind is above everything and it has power over everything which is below it btw i also have one question along this line as we know "AS WITHIN SO WITHOUT" so if someone is beautiful inside, shouldnt it reflect outside on his physical appearance and make him physically beautiful too ? maybe beauty means harmony but if harmony is beauty than all the enlightened person should have model like face because their inner structure is in complete harmony and beauty this actually relate to my other question, explain "as within so without "

explain this phrase guys this is a very popular spiritual phrase , but i still havent understood it fully this is a hermetic principle i have read that this is literally true, i mean what is literally within is without i have read that you can understand your inner universe, like what is actually happening in your mind by observing the outer world within is literally reflected outside but no body gives the full explanation of it, may be they cant how can it be literally true ? explain this phrase from your wisdom and i wanna know the subtle things, i know that your thoughts and beliefs are reflected outside but for example i am having a issue with my girlfriend than this must also be a reflection of my inner universe does it mean that i have some conflict in my mind which is just being reflected in this issue i wanna know the subtle things of this phrase

well first of all its really not about what chinese ideals are about beauty i think i have also read that in TCM, white skin is considered very healthy and it represents full and unobstructed flow of qi in body regarding why asians are so found of white skin ? the reason is simple, its subconscious, you cant do anything about it no matter how much you teach the guy, how much you scold him, its in his subconscious mind that white is beautiful so they will associate white guy/girl as being beautiful same is the problem with western people tan is considered sexy i think tan is more harmful than whitening creams because these days all whitening creams are first tested and than allowed to enter asian market but the original question of this topic is can taoist internal cultivation, alchemy or whatever method it is , make your complexion white ?

as always i dont hold onto any particular view about magic some say its just intent, all the tools represent only your intent some say those spirits are just inside your head and not real some say its the working of unconscious mind some say its the art of mastering energy so much opinions, everybody has their own proofs this is the case in every aspect of life, you cant say for sure that, this is this and thats how it works and this just confuse me more and more because magic works but how ? nobody can say for sure reality is really a mystery @oldchi i already know about that book its a very good book, you must read it

no , not really he is not really inspirational he has lame logics for doing big things lol bleach was inspirational for me but now it has become a gory manga but one piece is surely inspirational, it is basically a journey of advenure i would love to go on a journey like one piece , thats an ideal adventure well there are some hinderances first of all its money , second its really about opportunity because what i want cant really be gained by money i am already in india btw, if i wanna learn something spiritually i would love to go china and tibet , and if its just for fun i wanna go to paris and i also would like to see ireland and bermuda triangle is also a good place....... and some things i want are probably not even possible, and if they are i dont know about them yet the journey should be unbelievable, adventurous , like a fictional story , magical, and most importantly FUN

i was browsing this thread and regarding the money thing i think real masters dont really charge money but they make you pay in some other way (and those other ways actually make you better) for example in ancient india (i think situation is almost same even today if the teacher is real) they will make you cook food, clear the place, bring some wood from forest, massage their feet etc...... in this century they can make you bring grocery items, clear their house etc..... in some cases if you are a prince they will certainly make your father pay lots of money lol but they ask for money only if you are capable of giving just send a message to JAJ that you dont have enough money, i am sure he will not reply lol or if he does reply he will have some excuse but its not a bad thing, its his will to give information for free or not anyway JAJ's stuff is good but ...........repetitive, not really practical because you always feel something is missing and it feels like you need a teacher to do all this stuff his books are like you have put all the information at one place but not really practical
