its funny but when i was browsing tao bum, an idea just struck me if there is only one truth which is Tao and even our identity the thing called self is illusion than this automatically makes anything related to that identity also an illusion so our will which we attach to our identity that we are special and we have will to choose is also an illusion just like our identity is mix and match of our thoughts and beliefs our will is also mix and match of influences from other sources and all

what you are saying is probably intention what i mean by will is that even if you think its your desire and will to do this particular thing, you cant be sure because you could have been influenced by something or may be you are being manipulated to desire this thing without your knowing

i think the problem is you are cute/handsome but you are not attractive, i mean you probably dont have that sex appeal actually one of the reasons for me to make this thread was to know how can you more more attractive , how can you increase your sex appeal sex appeal is a non physical thing so i think it is possible to increase it i will give you an example look there are too women who live next to my house one woman whom has very good features and complexion ( she has beautiful features considering indian beauty standard) she has big eyes, fair complexion and good face structure the other one not necessarely have ideal features,she has small eyes, good complexion but she is extremely attractive so the thing is i would never ever sleep with the first women even though people call her beautiful (they dont call her attractive) but the other women , i would just love to have sex with her, she has something so it shows that attraction matters generally people are attracted because they wanna have sex (its in the subconscious you cant change it) so you would naturally feel attracted to someone who is sexy so what matters is how attractive you are and how much sex appeal you ooze btw did i tell you that both women are married

i am a hindu and we strongly believe in the Self called Atman atman is a self in a sense but i dont understand why hinduism created this separation i mean why create a separation between atman and param atman (param atman means the tao in hinduism) personally i find it hard to believe in atman because if its all param atman than why create a separation and create atman yoga has a goal of uniting atman with param atman but this again is also illusion because there was never an atman in the first place, it was all param atman and it still is i prefer buddhism in this case which simple states that you are the param atman, and you have to realize it

when i was a child i used to ask my mom, mom this life doesnt make sense i mean even if a person die and go to heaven, still something is missing, what will he do in heaven for infinite time ? nothing actually makes sense, i feel stuck somewhere thinking along this line guys just imagine that you die and you go somewhere like heaven and spend eternity there but thats it ? try to think whats after this and you will feel stuck and my mom used to say, this is how it is it cant be the end honestly when we think about these matters it feels like we are trapped its like you give a gift to someone only to take it away we think we have a self only to realize it never existed in the first place something doesnt make sense may be enlightenment is the answer

well i doubt about that not wanting women part for whole 1 year i never actually wanted women (i was busy in other things , most of the time internet hahaha) but i didnt attract any women , how would you explain that ? i have heard that tantric techniques can make you very attractive there was a guy who used to teach this, forgot about him any experience with tantra and girls ? there is a method of Anapana where you focus your awareness on the moment where the in breath turns into out breath and the out breath turns into in breath there is a gap between the in breath and out breath but in Daoism there is one method of circular breathing where you try to eliminate any gap in breathing you want to merge the in and out breath into one breath both methods are contradictory what will happen if a person practice both methods ?

i was also asking about doing them separately but both are contradictory even if you do them separately, will you get any benefit ? what if it does harm instead of benefit ? one practice tries to eliminate any gap in breathing while other tends to expand them if you practice them both (separately), how will you progress ?
