It is always difficult to fit one teaching into the coat worn by another. It never quite fits. Gurdjieff's roots were In Christianity and Islam (Sufi), to attempt to match them with Taoist practices will simply be an intellectual pursuit akin to the attempted completion of a cryptic crossword puzzle.
