I just got an order from ozark orgonite. They are aesthetically prettier than Dennis' in general and they are all made of the non-stinky resin, so that's good. Got a dream enhancer, so I'll check that out too. Dennis' lemurian hhg is very pretty, but everything else from him isn't. Still, his stuff is quality. Ozark is nice to look at. I'll report on the sweet dreams.

cool wiki on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Tibetan_Rites Apparently, Peter Kelder is still alive and well and still selling updated versions of his original work in 1939. I couldn't find any info on him. I've just ordered his recent Fountain of Youth book 2, apparently it's supposed to be the best explanation and fills in some gaps from previous versions. I'm just about 3 months into it as a daily practice. The only issue with it is that it is too stimulating to do immediately before meditation, but I find I can do it before bed without disrupting sleep.

You done good. I'll stay away from all video games until my kids demand that I come out of retirement.

The cool thing about Wii is when you are bowling, you are *really* bowling. Bowling is my fav. Even people who aren't into video games, will be into Wii. It's easier for a first time player to get in the groove... good for dates, entertaining, etc in that respect. Serious gamers should get both, of course.

Michael, What's up with 116 anyways?? It should be more like 121. Find me some older dead guys! Thanks! Yoda

While you can't go wrong with the PS3, I've tried the Wii and it rocks. It has taken gaming to a totally new dimension.

Sean, Thanks for the info!! Yours, Yoda

It's fun to think that many of us will have hundreds of thousands of grandkids in due time.

Plato, You are today's Tom Sawyer! I was recently thinking of a high school classmate that would air guitar Rush, etc all the time. I thought he was being too goofy at the time, but now I value that level of teenage playfulness. He was an excellent guitarist and I wonder if he kept playing. I love Rush too, but I'll even own up to loving the Bee Gees. Maybe that means I'm egoless? -Yoda

Cam, It's nice to do a daily youtube satsang. -Yoda

what did Roger say about it? Does he like it?

"The Varieties of Meditative Experience" is a good read. Basically classifies many of the different systems of meditation and the distinctive goals of each system. I'm doing iam mantra, so that's an Indian absorption type angle. When I come out of meditation I try to notice how far back my eyeballs have rolled and I like to think that corresponds to how deep the session went.

"I became one with whatever the fuck it is." Cool clip about the floatation tank.

It's by far the best for spinal posture, which is arguably the most important aspect. The kneeling camp appears to be well grounded, samurais and all.

Cool link and great thread. I'll check into these books. Imo, the best tool a parent has is their own happiness. I'd argue that the happier the parent, the more physically affectionate they will be with the kids but, regardless, the parent needs to look after their own happiness even if that means other parenting options. There are awesome positive aspects to both types of cultures.

Here's another good one. What's up with all these Aussies, btw? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0nfQE8XP-A

there are a few more links in my personal practice section, but there's no way I can practice calorie restriction plus those dudes look like hell. Intermittent fasting may be a viable alternative: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calorie_restriction I've been test piloting it for the last few weeks.
