  1. about inhale vs exhale... I think it depends on personality and culture perhaps, but most people I know could benefit more from exhale training/nose breathing.

Maybe it's like playing with a puppy for 30 minutes can improve your mood for the rest of the day which can then magnetize a more stable influence the next day? Thaddeus, maybe she's not your type? Stare at the Dalai Lama or a pornfield for a few minutes to get her out of your vibe, see if that helps.

I haven't tried the website, but I don't see anything odd about it... we are all influenced by the people we are around even if we just hang out with them mentally. In "think and grow rich" one of the main tools is to imagine being in the company of so and so who was a great banker, orator, basketball player, etc in order to incorporate those qualities. Many spiritual traditions call for imagining a guru, Jesus, a black bear, the north star, etc... I'll check it out. -Yoda Just checked it out, and could definitely feel something. Her photo was powerful like that of a child's... the force is strong in that one!
  4. I already do daily unaroused tailbone contractions. With my family on patrol, doing regular solo aroused practices for more than a few weeks has always been challenging, but if I can fire up tailgasms I'll find the time. Who's the handsome guy in thelerner's avatar? I'll post me when I get my 6 pack back!
  5. While I enjoyed it, I've pretty much covered everything of interest in this thread. No need to get it. The rest of it is crackpot and weird. If I can get my tailbone fired up like promised, I'll be a happy camper!
  6. I forget exactly, but it's similar lines to the argenine (sp?) ... I think argenine is for stronger contractions, and choline or lecithin is for better muscular endurance. Something about choline for parasympathetic system activation too. tryptophan for increased serotonin to decrease adrenaline production to decrease desire to ejaculate. He also suggested sublingual GABA for right before sex for extra endurance too. Put all that together for 2 days (plus good vitamins and minerals) and then start daily solo practice with strong tailbone/exhale contractions and in 30 days anyone can have tailbone ecstacy. I'll let you know... I hadn't known about the serotonin thing... that can really help the whole retention program.
  7. So for the formal book report... I've actually read the thing... I love the book and the insight can be boiled down to take your multis, tryptophan (sp?) argenine (sp?) and choline/lecithin and maybe some other things and do hard tailbone contractions (don't contract the perineum) synchronized with thrusting/exhalation while being sexually stimulated. And repeat. The supplements are key to making the whole thing work and may take a few days to kick in, and then the practicing will take some patience as well, but you can expect joyful tailbone orgasms down the road. Matter of weeks, not months. Then there's lots of meanderings other than that sentence which may or may not be helpful. I'll give it a shot and report back.
  8. Trunk's alchemicaltaoism.com is the best starting point. Imo, this book in question further integrates Trunk's material in ways that I hadn't considered before. I don't know if the reviews have been hacked somehow, but the book is in the Amazon top 2,000 sellers--so it certainly appeals.
  9. all this stuff is on the web, but sometimes it takes a book to reach me. So he says he has over 10 tailbone, non-depleting tailbone orgasms a day... cool! Anyone here have had an intense tailbone orgasm? I've had tailbone contractions from doing Trunk's tailbone exhalations/spinal breathing/etc which are cool but I haven't experienced lots of pleasure with them.
  10. I just got the book and gave it a quick read through. It is a nice rehash of many of Dr. Lin's ideas. There were a few concepts that I'll experiment with: squeezing the lower, middle, and upper tailbone as distinctive experiences squeezing it pretty hard squeezing the tailbone needs good nutrition and choline increased serotonin enhancing supplements like tryptophan (sp?) reduces desire to ejaculate solo practice lying down with soles of the feet facing each other in 'butterfly' position is good tailbone practice.
  11. Interesting about amazon. I think the tailbone thing does work, but it takes daily mco/spinal breathing/etc type practice imo.
  12. doh! But how can real reviews get deleted on Amazon's system?
  13. Yogani's Meditation Book

I'd only get it if you are a raving Yogani fan like me. Lots of overlap.
  14. would his angle work for cooked food?
  15. the book sounds cool, but I only smoke when I drink...
  16. well, at the wedding I did drink and smoke but no meat and very little dairy! If meat is unappetizing while drunk then that's progress! Since reading 'the China Study,' Mrs Yoda has stopped her meat consumption on a dime too. Before I read the book, I'd do 70% raw with meat eating once a day or every other day. Now that I'm vegan, the overheating and overloading of being 70% raw has dissipated and feels very normal. I credit ditching the meat and milk for the smoother ride, but who knows. Mrs Yoda isn't into the raw thing per se so it'll be interesting for me to compare notes with her on this experiment. I felt a lot cleaner than normal for a normal drinking, smoking, and eating binge. I'm tempted to say that it's eating part that really gets me. Which is very encouraging...
  17. the big change that I'm looking for is to go a year without a big change.
  18. I've never eaten durian. The little oriental grocery store near my house has frozen durian, but I'm inclined to keep my eyes open for the real thing. One is bound to fall at my feet sooner or later.
  19. I've pretty much flamed out on my day 4. Three days has often been my limit in the fasting and extreme change department. It's great how much participation there is! Good luck all!
  20. I just realized that this weekend I'm being a best man at a pal's wedding with important drinking responsibilities... But I was 99% raw for the last two days, so that'll be 7 by the time I need to perform "rational retoxification" (got that spiffy phrase from Daniel Reid). Sadly, I fell off the 100% mark... I always throw in croutons on my salads. The cool thing about being 99% raw is that I don't get hungry at all after the first day so it's easy to transition to a water fast if I feel like it or just eat one meal. Victoria Boutenko says that her son will go off on an all day skiing trip and just pack two oranges to keep his energy up, while all his pals need to snack throughout the day.
  21. Nice new look!

Sean, Nice new look to the site! -Yoda
  22. Nice new look!

    gettin' artsy like emptyflower.com
  23. Could use more veggies in the house though. The whole thing lives or dies on what you have lying around the kitchen. I try to keep a good supply of grapes in the house and raisins in the car as fallbacks.
  24. Sunshine, what did your diet look like when you were raw? Sean, as everyone has different dietary needs, desires, theories, etc let's open it up to more people and call it the 7 day ideal diet challenge where everyone challenges themselves to follow an ideal diet that they've not yet really tried. So it can be an Atkins challenge for somebody to a vegan raw thing for somebody else and anywhere in between. I'm in and starting the clock right now. I'll be 100% fruit and veggie, and that's it. Which is a change from my recent platform of 70% fruit/veggies 30% beans, rice, croutons, and Olive Garden salad dressing. (they sell it separately). I bet I can do this no problem and loose 5lbs while I'm at it, but I'll opt out if it I find it too challenging. The hardest part will be dismissing the salad dressing! Hmmm... just the thought of that makes me miss the salad dressing even more. But I'm carrying about 14lbs of spare salad dressing on me at all times, so somehow I'll manage. 14lbs is like 14 boxes of Land-o-Lakes butter... that should suffice for 7 days. I've been loosing weight nicely on my vegan diet, but I'm just impatient to get it the bleep off me. Also, I'm very curious as to the psychological effect of being 100% raw vegan. In my 1-2 day trials, it has been good for iaming.
