My father in law just bought some Five flower Rescue blend of Bach's flower essences. As I'm interested in mellowing herbs, I tried some and it seems to do something to me, but Mrs. Yoda says that it isn't as effective as Tao in a Bottle. I can't get anyone else around here to test drive these things. I always noticed that Winn sells flower essences, but I've never experimented with this sort of thing before aside from a fling with Km in the early 90s.

Lozen, The weird thing about it is that I can feel it in 10 minutes, sometimes within seconds. combined with Tao in a Bottle and meditation, I'm going to be quite the stoner that I've intended to be in 2006. cool. I don't have any experience with homeopathy... is this the same thing? this seems much stronger than the flower bitters that I've tried in the past. It works so fast that I'm thinking it would be a great pre-practice thing to dose up on like Winn does in some of his classes to raise everyone's vibration. Has anyone tried Joyce's flower essences? Good luck with your little viking!

I think that brilliant taoists like RJ and Yudelove serve as both inspirations as well as warnings about the many imbalances rampant in energy cultivation systems. Many teachers have their ups and downs and I think that piecing together the puzzle is the task of the current generation of cultivators and their respective systems of cultivation are worth studying. Also, it's rare that one gets a sense of what practices a teacher "really" follows and I feel that I have a flavor of that from RJ and Yudelove. Maybe they could take my spot and I can be an asterisk under Sean. I'll be Sean's little kwazimodo (sp? the hunchback of notre dame dude)

Master RJ has got to make the list. He was the ultimate cybertaoist. More obsessive than me, more insightful than Plato, more level headed than Keith... Just kidding about Keith, of course, but what if he was though? Then he'd get promoted to Buddhism I suppose. -Yoda

Ok, the stars align for me here and there... They say that lambskin is the best as it conducts electricity better than latex. I don't know. I bet Plato and Bodri have done the research.

I'm not a wash cloth kind of a guy, but it actually works to do a scrubdown with salt and baking soda in my hands.

that gyro is unique. I found one to play with at a vitamin shoppe. Flextend doesn't appeal to me. A better product would be the rubberbands made by folks like jumpstretch. Rubber bands rock for whole body strength and flexibility. You can even buy rubberbands like that in Walmart these days. Super cheap. Maybe google for a workout routine.

Well, she competed as a girl, and sometimes runs around in a miniskirt, but you never know these days... I'm sure the name can go both ways. -Yoda

Who said there's nothing new under the sun? The lead singer for Weezer has been celibate for 2.5 years. A celibate rock star... that's something.

I think most people tend to visualize energies circulating and gradually the visualization practice gets replaced by the feeling of energy circulating.

It's the same basic idea as WW with many/most of the same drills, everything has simply evolved further. There's no 'need' to upgrade other than for fun. Also, the club drills are a really cool gear too. Your hamstrings sound more evolved than mine, btw. -Yoda

One in the morning and one in the evening is what I'm settling on and the mellowness is, indeed, most appreciated.

sounds too hard to face first thing. Is that on an empty stomach and are you allowed to eat immediately after?

I've tried it and it is very fun.

done up and gone with one parting insult for consistency's sake.

in terms of raw units of relaxation? I agree that it's different than alcohol, not numbing or depressing or anything. Any useful analogies? I just tried 2 and I had to take a nap! One should do it for me. -Yoda

Cam, would you agree with my 1 pill=half a beer assessment? -Yoda

2???? That's pretty strong stuff to double up, but I'll give it a shot. I wonder why it changes. Speaking of that sort of thing have you test piloted 3 at a time?

Craig, You should put together your top ten fav herb list at some point. I've tried cheapo Rhodiola before, but I'll follow up on your suggestion. Thanks! Yoda

Based on my preliminary experience, Tao in A Bottle has the power to relax me equal to about a half a beer, but it lasts *much* longer and it doesn't have dopey side effects. So it pretty much rocks. Kicks in in about 30 minutes. My experience doing energy cultivation exercises is that I get frustrated/angry when I do too much standing/sungazing/retention/circulation/etc. My answer has been to back off those and to meditate more and I think Tao in a Bottle could really help me out on this front as well. One caution: it can make me sleepy if I take it at night or during a long interstate drive, so I won't take any during a driving day. Also, I have extremely sensitive senses and theanine has an msg like taste to it that I can sometimes taste when it's in my system. And now that I know the taste, I can recognize it in my tea. I'm not nearly as sensitive as a supertaster, but if you are one this effect could be distracting. I think it is going to make for a mellower me. I'll try it compared to straight theanine and see how they stack up with each other. -Yoda

very fun! where do they get that kind of energy? Has that vid been posted on rmax? I'd like to see their reaction to it.
