Okay, I've actually tried a few sessions and I bought an anatomy book b/c you have to know your bones exactly. I'm going to get a model at the toy store today so I can study the bones in 3D. Good stuff. Superior presentation than the bone breathing/iron shirt HT angle. Although I find myself combining the white skeleton visualization with bone breathing and the chi coming up through my feet to my head to activate and intensify my bone imagery as it'll take awhile for me to hold the image of every bone in my body simultaneously. Bodri implies that this kind of imagery is a crutch, but I feel that it is beneficial. Also I'm doing this while standing instead of sitting as I feel more vital when I stand. If you are drawn to bone magic, this practice is a must have! I'm also interested in getting my hands on Bodri's 25 Gates to Meditation but can't find it on addall.com. While I'm not a Buddhist, his articulation of meditation practice kicks ass. If anyone has a copy to sell, I'm interested. Thanks! Yoda 8)

I think the HT stuff is great to know about for the theory, but it's presented in a way that is too confusing and jumbled to actually practice. At least for me. For instance, I just found White Skeleton Meditation on meditationexpert.com and finally all the bone breathing/iron shirt practices that I've been drawn to make sense in a way that is more understandable, inspiring, and easier to do than the HT approach. Trunk has a must-read website that translates the HT approach effectively. If he reads this, I'm sure he'll post a link for you. My favorite HT practice is Primordial Chi Kung. You can find it at taichi-enlightenment.com . It is simple, powerful and partially tax deductable and only 10 minutes, but is not a Chia product. My favorite sex practice is www.multiples.com Again, simpler/easier/less glitchy than the Chia angle. Keep us posted! -Yoda 8)

Can the box that I'm typing in right now be made bigger? I don't know if anyone else cares and maybe I can get used to it, but it looks like there is room to the right that could be plundered. It'll be interesting to see how this forum and Winn's forum will develop. This one can be the sassy and Winn's the serious(?) I'm hoping to be active on both. -Yodster

Obstacles in practice usually mean that you aren't getting enough grooviness from it. Maybe focus more on sexual practices to get more joy. Maybe a cup of tea before practicing will give it more zing. If you are over 2 hours of practice a day, sometimes it's a good idea to periodize a bit. It's not a problem, it's just feedback that is important to listen to. May the force be with you! -Yoda

You are but a pup--we are across town and 18 years between us. You definitely don't want me materializing at your parties or anything but I'd still like to meet you for lunch at some point or I have access to a boat ramp on the Broad River we could take out my canoe sometime. -Yodster

Cool! What part of town? I'm in the Harbison area, Chestnut Hill Plantation about 3miles down Lost Creek Drive from Broad River Rd. We should meet sometime. My cell is 622-0606 and email is [email protected]. Hope to hear from you! I'm planning on staying in Columbia for a couple more years then move up to Brevard, NC. -Yodster

I was re-reading Trunk's Fab4 material and I realized why my standing practice has slacked off a bit--I've been keeping my hands relaxed in wuji and I haven't been opening them slightly. Much better. Trunk, don't rule out pistols!! They are a great exercise and a huge ego rush too. I just worked on airbornes (just kneel like kwanyin is knighting you and eventually don't touch the non-working leg to the ground until the lowest point just a couple reps, 10 seconds a day) for about a year and you'll have it. There are a lot of studly fighters and powerlifters who can't do it. I've still been grooving on wuji chikung been doing it for over a month approx 5-6x a day. Doing the routine in your imagination sets up the very same chi flow. I haven't tried this with other moving forms, but that's a very interesting effect. I can notice where my sticking points are when I do it in my mind. Bought an electric tea kettle to put next to my computer with some ginger powder to add to my tea or coffee. Very nice. Also I just talked to Jack Johnson, founder of the Key Sound Technique on multiples.com. His take on ejaculation control was interesting. His whole focus is on making heartgasms easier to attain, making them available to people of average abilities and motivation levels. He found Chia type methods to be way too difficult. He also says, like Winn does, that singleminded focus on elimination of ejaculation control can be a bum steer especially for beginning practitioners. He says that the focus should be on transmuting the energy. That the better one gets at transmuting the energy at first gently and then eventually in huge catatonic, half day long heartgasms (still working on that!) one naturally looses desire for ejaculation based experiences. I'm working on making this practice part of my daily routine. I've had a couple of glimpses of what a heartgasm is and am definitely interested in pursuing this angle. My problem with what Jack said is that all of my heartgasm type experiences have occured when I have been at 30 days of active retention or longer and none less than that. So I do think the retention aspect is important even for the beginner. -Yoda

it only took me a couple of months to get the one arm pushup, but it took me over a year to get a halfway decent pistol. Once you get comfortable with the basic airborne, start doing them while standing on a stool or chair and just keep going lower with them until their groove is essentially that of a pistol. I know you aren't a huge fan of it, but creatine can give you temporary strength to learn the groove. Creatine seems to be equal to 60+ days of good strength training, which helps you learn the groove/neural strength of a task then you can get off it and the neural strength stays with you and develops as the muscle strength notches down. I learned that trick from dragondoor! The only reference I've seen to pistols is Jwing-Ming Yang's Qigong for Health and Martial arts. Child Worships The Buddha. Cool name, but he only describes the exercise and not any benefits/meridians/etc. If you have seen it described from any other eastern sources, let me know. -Yoda

 Like the new look and emoticons too!      twisted evil. Nice. I got my Sedona books, but haven't spent much time with them. Doesn't seem as simple as it sounded originally judging by flipping through them, but I'll stick with it. Sounds like a great 15sec practice. -Yoda
