  1. Spontaneous Qigong; A Report.

I'm guessing one of the teachers is Wong Kiew Kit. I have no idea if this is right but, some say that just visiting Sfiu Wong's website can bring in yuckies.
  2. Kunlun follow up poll

Ya Mu, Things are, thanks for asking! According to my daughter, we are down to our last ghost, "Phoebe." And Phoebe is a nice one, so she's cool with it. Your pal, Yoda
  3. Help me removing a ghost

Sandalwood backfired at least for me. Yoda

Cam, You could well be right... I'll shut up once I've out gassed... if only I could project on my own time!! Machin Shin, I doubt I'd be allowed to share them. While those experiences got me wondering about things, other reasons got me to pull the plug on it. Who's Lord Yama? Your pal, Yoda

Rascalicious Reptiles!! I think my path is a bit like Scotty's except that I didn't have the one minute enlightenment thing before... nothing too shocking or frightening in and of themselves but those sorts of experiences plus hearing accounts like this: and hearing even crazier second hand kunlun stories made me go "hmmmm." Don't get me wrong: I love crazy stories... but many of these crazy stories didn't seem very life supporting or compassion enhancing to me. If that's the case then I'd rather that my family, friends, and I didn't associate with this sort of thing. The thing that tipped the balance is that the real life experiences of myself and many of my Kpals didn't seem as auspicious as they could/should be: problems with relationships, economics, health, subtle energy issues, luck, motivation levels, and quirky little things and encounters. I came to the conclusion that this practice has problems that are beyond tweaking or inner smiling at least as far as I am concerned. According to my daughter after discontinuing the practice, ghost activity at the house has dropped dramatically and she's much more comfortable. Yoda
  6. Help me removing a ghost

I don't know much about ghosts, but I've tried the Spray FU in two houses and will try it in another house soon. Both houses felt much cleaner afterwards.
  7. Spontaneous Qigong; A Report.

There's a lot of disagreement on this sort of practice. The "Kunlun follow up poll" thread going on right now does make use of this post. http://www.thetaobums.com/index.php?showto...9592&st=240

Ya Mu, I'm glad Freeform brought up the San... they have to live and work with each other 24/7... so they can't sell each other junkie rides! Your pal, Yoda

Freeform, Thanks for sharing... I was hoping for your take on all this. I can see how a tradition that has intimate, long term, one on one mentoring relationships could negotiate possible trickster vibes. Given that the airspace may possibly contain competing frequencies, is spontaneous practice ok for the average modern world person without a teacher? Also, do you think that all spontaneous practices are equal? My thinking is that different teachers may have tapped into different frequencies and therefore they are not equal. I apologize for being so unrelentingly negative. I'll try to chill out and shut up soon. Your pal, Yoda
  11. You might just get a new account? Or PM Sean. It's just that he's pretty busy, though.
  12. hunting down literature

Jen_A_Kins, I don't know but if you post that question in the main section, it'll get more traffic. Leslie, our co-webmaster, is from Louisiana, btw. Welcome to taobums! Yoda

So I just reread everything... the basic themes as I see it: ~~~ Kunlun is good. No problems aside from the fact that waking up has its challenges like with any path. Kunlun is good but like attracts like so if you get stuck in fear you'll have some bad experiences. Kunlun is good but you have to get past the lower astral ghosts etc through prayer, intention, and lineage. If you can't, then find another teacher. Kunlun has virus problems. ~~~ Did I miss any?

Winpro, I agree with you on all that 100%... no-wallet, no-thief, no-teacher, no-victim, etc, etc. Also I 100% believe you when you say that you've healed people from terminal illness. I'm assuming that's thanks to what has been given to you by Max and the Kunlun practice. I think that's fantastic and I'm glad you shared that. I'm very impressed by your extraordinary gains made through your Kunlun practice and I don't wish to minimize that in the slightest and I have absolutely no doubt that you've done some extremely powerful healings and good deeds through your practice. You've certainly been a huge inspiration and help to me, personally. Your pal, Yoda

Just for the record, I believe that I manifest my own reality, I reap what I sow, etc and that Kunlun and Max and any possible angels/ghosts/etc are not to blame for my problems: I am. I have no problem with that and take 100% responsibility for all my this worldly and otherworldly playmates. So the guy who had his wallet stolen manifested that himself 100%... but there was still a thief. I want to find out what happened on that level to me. And while I'm at it, I want to know why many of my pals and fellow bums have had such a mixed reaction with the practice and to let my fellow bums know what I've come up with and let everyone make up their own mind on this situation. And I freely admit that I could be wrong about all this. But if I've gone totally delusional... that's still not a promising sign!! I remember SiliconValley complaining to me once upon a time that nobody will publicly come forward to say that there's something wrong with Kunlun. I think some of the issue is not wanting to break ranks with one's pals. But another issue is the fear of retribution from bad entities if the worse case type scenario turns out to be right. I can totally understand and sympathize on that account. Yoda

Winpro, I'm a little surprised to read this... even if I'm completely wrong and Kunlun is in no way problematic this debate is still a fruitful one to find out how people like me fail on the path, yes? That should help future teachers of Kunlun and that sort of thing. Personally, I've learned more about the perspectives of both sides, which is nice. As always, if one disagrees with my perspective they can always tell me that I'm wrong and explain how and why I'm wrong and the whole debate then benefits everyone. If I'm right that Kunlun has challenges, then it's good for people to know about them. Either way, it's a huge win-win, yes? Your pal, Yoda

Gloria, amazing saga!!! Winpro, I'm with Gloria and dropping back for the punt and going with the wu wei gameplan as far as spiritual progress goes... I've learned my lesson about pushing too hard. I definitely admire your many attainments, though. Your pal, Yoda

I've gotten some nice PMs from both sides of the debate... thanks all! Starjumper, that article sounds like it was written by a tbum with me as the David character... I'd be curious if they identified themselves or gave any clues? I have a guess or two, but not a big deal. Good writeup. It basically says that all spontaneous qigong systems are problematic in the same way. I haven't done any other systems, so I'm not worrying my pretty little head on that account. Mal, my guessimation is that only a small portion of Kunlunies will be able to take this path very far and that mustering out of Kunlun and Red Phoenix is much more challenging than quitting a typical practice routine. RP is a sticky one, isn't it? Trunk, I've heard of a number of exit strategies. I like your idea of "heavenly lineages of one's choice" like Kwan Yin, Avalokiteshvara, Jesus, Buddha, etc. Probably the best DIY option I can think of. Someone pm-d me with a very inspired and completely off-the-wall approach today but I don't have their permission to share it, alas, but I am honored to have learned that approach! Personally, I'm studying under Mak Tin Si who has extensive experience ghost busting and I'm sure there are many other good avenues out there as well. Just to avoid any confusion, I've now set up a strict no visitors during ghost hours policy!! Yoda

5ET, not from me. Starjumper, I felt badly for my out-of-hand dismissal of your worm thread so invited you to look at this thread... sorry for plugging you in again!!! Sean isn't around much but if you request to be banned on a PM I'm sure he can hook you up if you want to enjoy the great outdoors more. Hope your construction project is going well. Your pal, Yoda
