durkhrod chogori, Sean's on and off around here. There are deep positive aspects to either approach. The lord of the flies thing does keep it entertaining. As Shon could tell you, I don't get out much so any craziness is duly appreciated. If I see anything that's annoying, I just put that person on ignore. If it's attack oriented, I pm Sean about it. At least for me, feeling group energy is much easier here on taobums than it is to vibe out the whole USA.

God most likely intended borax to be a humble bug killer but I just can't shake the feeling that Borax may have a multipurpose destiny. If I hold a box of it, it has an instant effect on me. And if I hold the box up to my head I can *really* feel it. I realize that not many households have borax around anymore, but if anyone does if they could give their 20 mule team box a big hug and let me know how it went, Muppetlabs would be most appreciative!!

Vajrasattva, You've just been nominated to be the point guy for this endeavour. Your pal, Yoda

If Vajrasattva doesn't want to do it then maybe Ya Mu? Those two sound like our best bets and it's probably best to let the point person decide all the other details.

I think snakecharmer has got it covered!!

Bardon was one of the great masters on this planet. Even if he had no students, his actions have had a huge effect upon the world esp the west and he transmuted a lot of karma while he was at it too. I wish he had lived longer, though.

welcome to taobums!!

We are all good at pretending that we don't know what will happen tomorrow.

Neutralwire... I love your reading list!!! I'll bring it with on my gyrocopter!!

Welcome to the Thunderdome!!!!! Another zinger from Frown!!! So the wiki says that the BDI is "...an assessment of the price of moving the major raw materials by sea." The wiki also said that the BDI is subject to huge extremes in that the supply of big ships is completely inelastic. In my opinion, the world market has been way overheated and could use a little breather. But if my internet goes out, you'll find me on the road warrior circuit! Your pal, Yoda

I have *no* idea who is right or wrong here but in either case, Gossamer *definitely* can use whatever groovy vibes Mak Tin Si can offer. I hope it brings all parties some peace.

y'all missed it then... Ian poured some milk into his sage tea.

Karen suggested a homeopathic remedy: bioplasma. I'm taking it. Have no idea how effective it is, but can't hurt. I wonder if a bit of amaroli would help along those lines too.

Until my kids are old enough to write a few expose posts, I'll keep up the Yodisattva front.

Spatial orientation - Egyptian Opening of the Mouth Ceremony
Yoda replied to Apech's topic in General Discussion
If I understood Apepch7 correctly, the element correspondences that I found in a book is likely to have been hauled in from the world of western alchemy and just thrown in there for flavoring. Interesting about the astrology/direction connection. In "Initiation" Haich talks about the four faces of God that are found in many religions which correspond to the four directions and on top of that the 12 astrology signs represent influences from 12 directions with presumably four of those lining up with the 4 directions. (it's lent out for a few months and I don't remember more than that) Apepch7's: Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius could be those four. Their traditional correspondences are Scorpio-water, Taurus-earth, Leo-fire, Aquarius-Air. I didn't catch which directions Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius are? (hopefully Apepch7 won't tire of this topic! ) -
The CNY period will end on Feb 9th, so sometime after that. Mak Tin Si is still available for contact at his forum: daoismworld.com Interesting that the ceremony is unpleasant... sounds like the ceremony has some teeth in it. May Gossamer have a great Year of the Ox!!! Stigweard, you've definitely made huge taobum history with this project!!! Thanks for taking such a leadership role around here!! It rocks out that so many incredible teachers and practitioners have made a connection to this forum in the last year or two... may that trend continue!! Yoda

thanks... awesome read!!! Reading articles like that with everything in such a jumble, reminds me that I'll never get very far in my understanding of other cultures... good to keep in mind!

I've learned that Dragons/pearls/phoenixes are alchemical and that dragons are male and phoenixes (and tigers) are female. I was looking for an Egyptian parallel and think I found it in the Horus/Set tension with Set sometimes associated with Apep/Apophis a serpent. Sometimes a cat would go after the serpent so that's sort of like the above. btw, is there such a thing as a cat/serpent two-in-one creature in any mythologies?

Awesome thread y'all! Thanks for bringing it up, Ya Mu. I read the Bardon on this and am convinced that this is an important practice that can benefite the way one takes in all departments of life.
