Wife beaters aka bongers tend to be a real hit with people. Using your fist would do the same thing, but having something on the desk is a good reminder to do self massage.

I'm stoked to see some bums starting to have good experiences with Mak Tin Si's lineage! Rodgerj, just pm Sean for a personal practice section. your pal, Yoda

If it turns out we mostly use the view new posts function, then one really doesn't lose much traffic by posting in the personal practice section and maybe that'll be an enticement for Mak Tin Si to use his practice section so we can keep his valuable perspectives in one place for the sake of future visitors and searches.

cyber-organic. So if Mak Tin Si were to use the personal practice discussion, he'd lose a lot of his readers. Given that, he should continue to do what he's doing, imo.

thanks all!

low energy around 4pm, but not bad. Checked out the Bible reference Ex 16:8 he gives you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning,

Thanks all, great suggestions!!

heartburn update... this is funny... so Mrs Yoda aka Randi (along with the rest of us) read the China Study and became vegans to hopefully deal with her heartburn shortly after the above post. The results were 100% successful... really bad heartburn gone within a matter of weeks. We were 95% vegan for about a year and slowly went back to our normal diet... and... slowly... really nasty heartburn has returned and she's parked on prilosec again after trying ac vinegar, ginger, etc, etc. So after the holidays, we will likely go back on the wagon. She and my daughter aren't really fans of the vegan diet from a taste perspective, but my son and I are fine either way.

If farting fits in, then I think spontaneous taichi works too.
-
Thanks Hagar! I had forgotten to add farting to the list.

I was a bit worried that we'd run him off but fortunately he seems fine with our little ways.

second that. He's a different animal from the rest of us, but he's a good guy, well mannered, on topic, informative, and helpful. While I don't agree with lots of things he says, but am honored that he's here and so generous with his time and information.

I don't have a problem with Mak's posts. I think there is a lot of great information there to consider even if he is a bit more traditional then most of us are used to. If Mak is interested, he could PM Sean to set up a personal practice section. While personal practice sections don't get the same level of traffic that the main discussion section gets, I'd guess most bums just use the View New Posts section which tracks all sections equally. A huge plus that this would offer is to keep all of Mak's posts together in one place which would be a valuable reference section for the long term. Yoda

An amazing story of two pioneer teachers!

Mak Tin Si, I'm very interested in this topic and I need both a simple starting point and a how-do-they-all-fit-together perspective, so thank you for putting this together!! Much appreciated! Your pal, Yoda

I'm definitely a Shirdi fan, but don't know much about Sathya. I'd love to visit Shirdi someday.
