It's my vibe that the offer to meet up is genuine. farmerjoe, there are Max seminar junkies out there and if I had the time and money I'd be one of them too. The seminars are a lot of fun and have been very helpful. Max recently said that going to a seminar isn't necessary anymore to do Kunlun, so you can do it from a book and never go to a seminar if that's what you'd like to do. If you get into it, then go to a seminar to pick up the Red Phoenix practice and you are set. Starjumper, if I may ask, Shirdi Sai Baba or Sathya Sai Baba? Your pal, Yoda

shishir_Peace, Welcome to taobums! While we aren't exactly kunlunpros here, we are opinionated so we have that going for us! I'd say don't worry about kundalini coming up spontaneously, just don't intentionally do any kundalini drills and back off if things get too weird/strong/etc. Also, I'd take a week or two off from kundalini drills before starting with kunlun. When I do Reiki on someone I open up to kunlun to turbocharge it. They might start doing kunlun too! Your pal, Yoda

Where can I order some of that?

Pietro, Mak Tin Si is obviously a very different cat from your typical taobum and I'm sure it was hard for both of you to relate to each other. This is sort of the reaction I would expect to have with any traditional taoist born into the system. I'm really happy that we all have enough in common for him to at least share his thoughts here even if we can only overlap partially in vibe. Thanks for the review, Pietro! And thanks for sharing your knowledge with us Mak Tin Si! Your pal, Yoda

5ET, SJ has some disagreements with us kunlunies but nothing to take personally, bro. Your pal, Yoda

Trunk, you probably don't remember this, but I tried to get you and RJ to meet Highlander style, but neither of you were intrigued.
-
SJ, it's not too late for you... what kind of talk is that?????? At least there's nothing to lose by seeing Max then, huh? Btw, it's awesome about the meeting but I was sort of hoping y'all could meet in a church like they did in Highlander? Your pal, Yoda

Thanks for that!

can you sniff out any residual vibes?

Question about spirituality and scientific testing

If I could score a golden turd, that would be awesome, thanks!! -
Good point: We Suck!! Good point: We Rock!! ~~~ Due to the shitty vibes for the last several thousand years, all paths pretty much suck and have devolved to reindeer games. That's turning around quick quick for all paths. I agree with 5ET: If we are inclined to compare paths, we need to use a physiological definition. The ability to voluntarily stop one's heart might be a good basic definition of enlightenment. Your pal, Yoda

Maybe you get more Yoda channels if you get the transmission? On the topic of transmission, I always roll this Yogani quote out: http://www.aypsite.org/146.html

On a whim, I just ordered Bodri's White Skeleton practice. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks very cool and an interesting angle that I hadn't considered before. It looks like it'll be extremely beneficial for grounding/healing/martial/dancing applications in addition to being a great general vitalizer. I'm getting interested in developing my healing abilities and this is a jackpot practice to that end. I'll keep everyone posted on it. Bodri makes some VERY strong claims about the superpowers that it can cultivate if practiced seriously. There's some overlap with bone breathing type chikung, but this looks much simpler and easier. If anyone has any experience with it, or better yet--attainments with it, let me know! I didn't get a feel for the suggested duration of the practice per session but it sounds like it can be done in 10 minute sessions. -Yoda

I'd imagine you'd still need a transmission for Red Phoenix.

Here's a cousin practice I found in Shaking Medicine by Keeney: sit on a bench and move rhythmically and spontaneously for 5-10 minutes. After awhile, it'll be like sitting in a rocking chair. And then stillness meditation afterwards. Keeney says to eventually allow the movements to get more vigorous if so desired but not so much to cause injury to self or others.
