  1. Other cool forums

I was thinking it would be fun to see a list of forums that taobums enjoy hanging out on. Doesn't have to be about cultivation necessarily. the advancedyogapractices.com forum is a great resource. dragondoor.com and crossfit.com forums are great for strength and conditioning. Sonnon's rmax.tv (I think I got that right) is good for mobility and conditioning. kunlunbliss.com should be up in a few weeks for those who have been to a Max worshop. That's pretty much what comes to mind at the moment. I'm wondering if anyone knows a good tomato growers forum?

  4. Is your Taijiquan effective in combat?

Darin, You've danced your way around bullets Matrix style. I'm sure you could tap into that again. Yoda

Surgeon General Warning. Tabumming may be bad for your mental health. We need to have Cam disapear (he can still post under another avatar as a long lost twin brother or something) keep it vague as to whether it involved a space ship, men in black, normal Kunlun disaperation, etc. but drop hints about it frequently. Vajrasattva, It's nice to see a well-considered and balanced counterpoint perspective to the Kunlun craze... you are definitely an asset to the abbey. Your pal, Yoda

Tibet has an extremely bloody history and you can't just turn that around on a dime. I'm a big fan of the DL, great guy.

JoeBlast, While Dionne did have a drilled one, tektite is super hard stuff and can shatter with drilling per Shon who is a real rock head (so to speak). If it's a blessed rock, I wouldn't mess with it. I would wrap it up or glue it on the back side, etc. -Yoda

I'm stoked you had fun! I'll keep my eyes open for your report!
  14. Kunlun Europe

In the workshops that I've been to, the vast majority get at least some motion going. In Phoenix there was only one person who didn't get any motion going and Max told her not to worry about it, that she got the full transmission and if she practiced, it would come to her. At another time he said to do the technique later while watching Ren and Stimpy and the motion will come up then. (Maybe the Kunlun lineage masters are big R/S fans! )

Scott is a good example: 80% sceptical on Saturday, 40% sceptical on Sunday, and now the kid is a junkie.
  17. I'll start counting mine, too.

Max and Kunlun are so completely outside the realm of expectation, that they can be quite an adjustment. My first seminar I was comfortable with Max but I didn't feel totally comfortable with the practice and didn't open up to it completely. But a week or so later, I was much more comfortable with it. Several months and another workshop later, I've befriended the practice more deeply but I can tell that this basic cycle of discomfort/comfort isn't going anywhere anytime soon! If we ever get Max into a Kareoke bar, we'll have to get him to sing "My Way". Your pal, Yoda

Someone in the Lobby had recent posted a few forums a couple of days ago. Haven't checked them out. You might like advancedyogapractices.com forum... very polite and supportive and you don't have to follow the practice. Most taoists are really 'chi-ists' and like to fight.
