Max, I'd love to see it! Yoda

I like to think that for a Buddhist, life is suffering and for a taoist, life is fun. So the Buddhists want to get out of it and taoists want more of it. That's just my own home brew philosophy on it and I'm likely quite mistaken.

Xienkula1, This has been discussed to death around here... everyone is pretty much argued out on both sides of the debate so you'll likely only get a tepid thread sparked up at the current time. If you search back in the day, you can find more lively discussions. Our webmaster is working on a separate Kunlun forum to help taobums get back to our original "school neutral" mandate and to avoid any sense of affiliation. Thanks for your patience on this matter. Yours, Yoda

So Kunlun develops the crystal palace area of the brain and third eye vision capacity pretty quickly. A component of this that I hadn't considered before is that endogenous DMT production is likely a part of this process. Research on this side of the equation has been done: http://www.amazon.com/DMT-Molecule-Revolut...9184&sr=8-1 It seems that higher levels of DMT are associated with Kunlun type of experiences: visions, healings, etc.

So here's a link from past taobum discussions on kechari. We all lost our nerve and backed off the quest. It's funny my kechari snips have been showing up around the house... somehow they've worked their way out of cold storage. (kids of course) There are a few images of interest here: http://www.thetaobums.com/lofiversion/index.php/t1046.html I'd be interested to see if kechari and Kunlun and Red Phoenix mix well. It is said that Kechari is the secret ingredient to a successful celibacy practice.

I forget where I read this, but it always makes me smile: thumbs and big toes are much more emotionally needy than are the other digits, so you should baby them, praise them, and massage them frequently.

Ian, Worry about Drew??? The kid definitely has got it going on... He combines the best of all worlds of fun, sharing, healing and loving. He'll likely settle down by the time he's forty or fifty, but let's not rush it. I'm very impressed with the young folks around here. It reminds me of what Mantra68 said about subsequent generations of rats doing better at learning to run a maze. While I'm thinking about it, I'm also very impressed with the seeking and codifying powers of our 30 to 40 somethings and the most difficult job of jump starting the whole cultivation scene to begin with that goes to 50+ set like mYTHmAKER, AugustLeo, and Father Paul. I think there will always be a different style of energy (with differing priorities, etc) in people of different ages, and that's a good thing. Yoda

I've snipped my tongue a bit, but my flexibility still has a long ways to go. I called a tattoo shop to see if they'd do the deed for me, but they aren't allowed to in my state. Looking like Gene Simmons is a plus.

How old is Sailor Bob? I thought he was a young guy.

fizix, Taobums is definitely good overview territory. Still working on shooting lightning out of my ass. Welcome to taobums! Yoda

Bill, Have you tried the Kunlun from the book? Hold the position for a few minutes and then rhythmically move for another 10 minutes or so and see what you think. It's my feel that out of the taobums who attend that the vast majority are really impressed. As far as physical healing goes, some say it's pretty dramatic, but I have no idea what the percentage is. Since it's a gamble either way, I'd go with the Kunlun as there are more cultivation benefits. Kyle

Drew, You are definitely a taobum-in-the-know. Ultrasound ionization a gizmo? Yours, Kyle

Anyone read them? A pal of mine says it's like "Autobiography of a Yogi" on acid and it's quite fun. I've ordered the first two and will give my book report.

youtube for 'aghori' for a little documentary on the subject.

I just discovered that they are selling kettlebells at Target and Play It Again Sports, etc. Nice that word has gotten out.

Hopefully next year's birthday will be in Costa Rica!

I've heard that she's going to be interviewed for a show sometime soon.

de paradise, Pretty sweet, thanks!! I like Datta dudes. It's cool that he references Marciniak. I hadn't seen anything quite along those lines from a Hindu before. Here's one about uniting the Sun and the Moon in the heart which may be of interest to taobums: Thanks again for posting that! Yoda

I like the notion of doing a different pranayama system per day of the week. That might help out with the overload issues.

Rain, Killer about the death thing!! Way to go!! Your pal, Yoda
