Synophion, Welcome to taobums! Yoda

I've heard from several sources from different traditions that the crystal palace is the most powerful chakra in the body and is our control center. Definitely agree to park the energy in the ltt, though, and that too much pranayama work can be problematic.

I'm a Kyle too... great name! Welcome to taobums!

I love president Bush!!! (I have a Swami who recommends that I love everyone... just trying it out. I did get some entertainment out of it, so that's something.)

nice!!

It is a great comfort to know that the law of karma/law of attraction protects me 100% from the actions of others. Now if I can just gain a bit of control over my own mind, I'll be set!

Illustrations in the Secret of the Golden Flower?
Yoda replied to Taiji Bum's topic in General Discussion
I had read in one of Dr. Sha's books, Soul Communication (?), that if you look inside your body with the third eye you can see your little soul dude sitting there in the lower belly looking just like the picture of the above little fella we've all come to know and love. He said it should look fat and happy and baby-like, but that many people have little spindly and cold looking "starved" souls. He didn't talk about taking it for walks out the top of the head or anything though. I think he said that's one of the reasons that ltt meditation is so important, that it's the home of the little soul dude. -
I look at it like governments, other people, etc are not trying to fuck you, but rather make sweet love to you but they are just a bit inept. We'll all get it right sooner or later.

I've only done one climb like that where if I had relaxed one hand it was all over. I found my concentration to be quite good, but still, I plan on never repeating such a drill.

What are all those taoist immortals doing laughing? On the other hand... You can't laugh if you are omniscient because nothing is surprising anymore. -Clueless in Columbia

I know Hindus are scared of eclipses in general, but I don't know why. I think they believe there is a lot of opportunity there, though.

omg... that photo must be Cam's evil twin brother... the taoist/BJJ one. I'm desiring to have video editing abilities so I can cut and splice different shots together for youtube, but I'm wondering if doing so is cheap and easy to learn? My daughter wants to put out some gymnastics instructional vids.

his astrology book on "Saturn appreciation" sounded interesting too. Apparently, Saturn is an acquired taste.

So my 8 y.o. daughter, Freya, considers herself quite the expert on things British and today I had expressed interest in some angle of fasting yet staying grounded and I was thinking of getting back into tomato juice and she suggested to follow the UK lead and drink some beef tea. I don't eat beef, so I brewed up a cup of 'chicken tea' with half a knorr cube and I was impressed... the salt plus the critter vibe did definitely ground me. Question for the UK folks: does beef tea exist? What is it made of? She swears that the little heros and heroines in her books always pine for their beef tea when they get lost.
-
So I asked Freya about the context of beef tea in her books and she says it's what the doctors would make sick people drink back then. We have "chicken soup" over here as the thing for sick folks back in the day, and occasionally people remember to brew up some soup for the occasion these days. Maybe the salt is supposed to help dry you out or something.

Lezlie is her usual sexy self but Sean has gone from hottie to adorable. You guys are too cute. I look forward to seeing footage of Sean and Lezlie lounging about their crystal palace. Yoda

they claimed they drank Miller High Life, but didn't actually go there in the vid.

She's a fan of both Railway Children and Secret Garden... thanks for the updates, I'll let her know that it's retro but still kickin'. Also from the wiki on Bovril: Dude.

Max does say that Kundalini and Kunlun are two different energies.
-
It's my understanding that focusing on the third eye will eventually spill over naturally to crown development. My experience of Kunlun is that it seems to develop the third eye and the ltt. I don't know if that's just in my case and others are different or if that's a focus of the practice.

I think that by making one post in the lobby automatically lets you post elsewhere. Welcome to taobums!
