  1. Is KunLun Bogus?

taobum Turbo is a lawyer and he's an ex-Kunluner too... my crystal ball says that he'll come back to the practice at some point. I did watch a half an hour of Cricket once... didn't quite get it. Looked like a baseball game dragged out over several days. Yawn.

  5. Is KunLun Bogus?

If there's one thing that kids should learn in school is that drugs and Kunlun don't mix!

Not used to authentic taoism around here! I hope you stick around... welcome to taobums!
  9. Tea

Someone here recently suggested that I rid myself of bagged tea for flavor purposes and it's a fun angle. I can fancy myself a tea snob and be cheap at the same time!
  10. Thunderbolt of the Gods

I like how scientists are holding on to theories a bit more loosely these days than in times past.

  15. Annoying people

While I totally agree that conflict generates further prickly karma that just adds to the morass, it sometimes is the only clear path.
  16. Is KunLun Bogus?

While I don't agree with SJ, I think that he gives voice to an energy current on the forum which allows it to vent some spleen. When we have two forums set up, we'll be back in balance.
  17. Aloha!

    welcome to taobums!
  18. Greetings from Alaska

Welcome to Taobums! Where in Alaska? I like to think that I was the first person to cross the north American continent by car. Started in Miami Beach and when I got to Fairbanks they had just opened the road to the north shore to the public. The roadtrip nuked my car, but it was well worth it.
  19. Greetings!

Welcome to taobums and have a nice trip!
  20. Scott Sonnon getting Spiritual

Scott does a great job of repackaging eastern material. I look forward to seeing what he does with it.
  21. Lifelong Kunlun

Totally not applying this interpretation towards Seadog, but speaking of dreaming about old houses... that's a real theme for me. Actually Kunlun has brought up dreaming of yucky, spooky, dark, sickly, out-of-square, I-bet-there-are-moisture-problems old houses several times. In my case, often if I have a joyful, breakthrough type of experience like the first time I had sex for instance it would be followed by having a "This Old House" dream. I didn't care for them at first, but then I realized that in my case these dreams are part of a releasing process, meaning that I'm just getting used to being in greater levels of joy. In Kunlun, I can experience a strong sense of joy that can last the entire Kunlun session which is distinct from any other experience of joy that I can conjure up through other means.
  22. Is KunLun Bogus?

I gave the book to my Mom, but next time I visit her, I'll look at the book more closely.
