  1. Max and Aliens

It's my impression that that is too much of a sidetrack for Max's classes, but I'm definitely a believer in something along those lines.
  2. I just noticed that the other day taobums had over 1,000 active users on it at one time!! That's way cool... I didn't realize that a site dedicated to taoist yoga could have that much traffic on it! That's great! I know the more information that piles up here, the more traffic google will bring us. Maybe Sean will be able to take Leslie out to dinner from the ad income someday!!
  3. After reading another thread, it really struck me that Kunlun practice does not heighten libido like all the other energy practices that I've tied in the past. Doing Kunlun hasn't changed the amplitude of sexual feelings for me, but it has made such feelings more "balanced" and "peaceful". A much easier practice to digest, certainly. I be curious as to the experiences of others.
  4. Max and Aliens

I would imagine that Max believes that the spacemen fucked the monkeys. Makes sense to me!
  5. Kunlun and sexual feelings

I think there's very much something to what you are saying. Mantra at one point said that supplements can be a plus. I forget what supplement he had in mind but I think it was a 5-HTP kind of a thing. Max
  6. .

C-I saw him last month in Phoenix. He speaks quickquick! I think his speech patterns come from spending a lot of time speaking Chinese combined with being jacked on Kunlun. I got the vibe that the interviewer had tried Kunlun and *liked* it. DH-the 3rd eye/niwan is definitely his focus, but he doesn't seem to make the connection to the kundalini process WYG- Max's Red Phoenix doesn't refer to an herb, it's a complimentary practice to Kunlun.
  7. Kunlun and sexual feelings

She had mentioned that men were fragile flowers on her diet. Like other energy practices, it's extremely effective but I can't deal. I think women have an easier time of it. I never got Mrs Yoda to really go for the fish oil in huge doses, but she does take some. I know a lucky guy who's wife drinks a quarter to a half cup a day of fish oil on her doctor's orders. Nice! I'm hoping a few months of Kunlun and I might be able to check back in with it to see if I'm ready. I do take fish oil, but not as much for the effect to really kick in.
  8. Ron Paul

Libertarian theory in action!! Just a warm up band for spiritual anarchy!! Coming to a planet near you!
  9. Flowfit is available

I tried to dust it off the other day but it didn't take. I'll touch base here and there with it. Nice routine.
  10. Taobums just turned 1,000!

That list of names takes me back! Makes me want a cigarette for some reason... I wonder why that is? I'm just a sentimental fool, I guess. Compared to these new whippersnappers, us old guard couldn't cultivate our way out of a paper bag! Impossibly esoteric information and vibrations are pouring into this site at an amazing pace. I'm totally loving it!!
  11. Jed Mckenna on bliss

In Tibet, there's a debate between wisdom/insight/what I called "prajna" vs compassion/bliss/bodhicitta which also spills over into the methodless/direct pointing vs method debate where the insight folks don't go for the the step by step energy cultivation needed by the compassion camp. It's my understanding that they all mostly kind of agree to say that they are like two wings of a bird. If one is already well developed energetically, there's more of a focus on methodlessness but beginners/normal folk do better with cultivation. And some teachers prefer to teach one aspect over the other and to articulate their teachings accordingly. Yoda
  12. Jed Mckenna on bliss

Well put! Just for the record, Yoda equates bliss with enlightenment! Otherwise, enlightenment would honestly have no appeal to me or to any of the people that I know. I think the prajna articulation is cool and valid, but let's keep it real... the intellectual and the emotional are two wings of one bird and you can't have one without the other. The problem you run into if you diss the bliss too hard is that you end up not having quite as much fun and therefore dampen your bodhisattvic abilities and inclinations... As Mother Teresa said to her order, "if you aren't cheerful I don't want you here... you are of no help whatsoever." Yoda
  13. .

Interesting! I totally suck at kundalini, so I'm glad there's a different game out there!
  14. Ron Paul

The day isn't over yet, but it looks like he raised a cool 6 million.
  15. Can Kunlun be lost?

    you know what I mean.
  16. .

"You don't need a body... this is a downward flow practice." What did he mean there, I wonder. Sounds good though... whenever I find myself sans body I can still rock on!
  17. I think I remember that 2x a day is fine per the original book.
  18. Here's me and the gang on Degoba: http://www.elfyourself.com/?id=1426305379
  19. Hello from Boston

    Welcome to taobums!
  20. Kunlun Question

Max mentioned that some people may have issues with electronics. Maybe that's why he stays off taobums... doesn't want to crash the site!
  21. Kunlun Question

Just a total guess of a solution, but you might try wrapping the edge of the keyboard with a copper wire to reduce the field it generates.
  22. .

I'd imagine that it would be a few days. It sounds like the hostess is a practitioner in her own right. I'm excited to hear it too... I've heard it's Max talking about the importance of a low fat, low sugar vegetarian diet.
  23. Whooohoo!! He always went by "Mack 10" during our Mothership Raves... fun guy!!
  24. Intro from me

    welcome to taobums!
  25. .

I *just* missed hearing it live!! I'll check in in a few days to listen in.
