So I got my book. Question for Mantra68, are the eyes open or closed in the level one position and the sitting meditation afterwards? Thanks!

And my Max is always right!
-
I've read something to that effect in quantum physics. A photon can either time travel or anticipate a physicist's desires thousands of years before the birth of the physicist. Who knows. Our Max says that seeing big Max in person isn't necessary to tap into the energy.

Or this one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=uw-J-fSNnic

Winn has studied mostly with Chia but also with lots of other teachers too. It sounds like he only did a weekend thing with Max, so that's probably not a big feature of his teachings. My favorite Winn teaching is primordial chikung taichi type of a routine that I do on special occasions. The production quality on his information can be low. (I have his fundamentals set, but it didn't have any sound and I never got around to asking for an exchange. My primordial dvd worked fine, though.) Yours, Yoda

On the main clay website, they recommend taking clay for 3 days on and 4 days off and then 4 days on and 3 off, etc. That might be a good way to allow the body to adjust. I found a cool source: http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/learn/bentonite.php very cheap, I'll check into it. I'll do my best to take some time off!!!

I think you can be a disbeliever yet still be psychically allowing yourself to get in there and experiment.

Can I just eat a hot dog in lieu of the chicken liver? I tried the 'pascalite juice' (letting the clay settle out and drinking the water) no gnarly headache this time, but I can tell that a headache wants to be there. The end product is fairly similar to the humic shale juice that they sell at the health food store but the Pascalite juice seems to carry a stronger vibe to it. As I've said, I'm very attracted to the Pascalite, so I want to figure out a way to take it. I'll probably even reduce the dose a notch and take every other day or something to keep it within comfort level possibly.

alchemicaltaoism.com is a great resource.

Just making it to 50 is a huge achievement... and means that word is getting out there. I think your book will be a long term seller too. My dad's book, Beyond Peleliu, is off in deep space right now but he never had the amazing rating spikes you have.

A friend of mine had tried the wholeapproach.com diet for about a year... psyllium, bentonite, and a fatty acid as an antiyeast diet. Didn't solve her particular issue, but she said it felt healthy and effective. Another example of combining clay and an oil. Due to my stinkiness, I'll try cycling out of clay and try the shale juice for a bit. The shale juice seems to be calming too. I'll have to try all my things at the same time fish oil, clay/shale juice, and veggie juicing... I bet there's a buzz there!!

Witch must have the whole New Moon Mojo thing figured out... she's #192 on Amazon!!!! Let's all have a collective heart chakra orgasm to celibrate!!! Btw, if anyone has benefited from her ideas, please put a favorable review on amazon for her! (Even if you haven't read the book, just say that you've incorporated all or part of her diet and gotten xyz results, etc)

MW could stand to be more positive about the teachers he reviews, but I always appreciate hearing his perspective. This isn't just about MW, there is a powerful tradition of dissing other teachers and lineages in Taoism. Maybe Taoism has been too closely associated with martial arts for too long. Or maybe this is just the way it goes with individuals and traditions that emphasize energy cultivation at the expense of stillness practice.

very inspiring... I'm at 5 minutes a day... so it's going slow!

A big thank you to Father Paul's family for keeping us informed. He'll be missed.

Have you tried moonbathing or at least spending a few minutes outside? I'm just trying to get my thoughts around this. I think FM and NMs are an absolutely great time for extra practice and special practices, even though they are more challenging to be around emotionally. -
We own a tv but it only gets used to watch nature documentaries on dvd which varies from nil to a couple hours a day, but we try to keep it below an hour a day. Then again, I'm on the computer an awful lot, so I don't know what the net benefit is.

Father Paul, You are our first Taobum Immortal... Congrats!! Don't forget about us! Your Pal, Yoda

Rain, I haven't seen any of vids and don't have an opinion on any of the issues involved in this thread, but I hope you stick around taobums if you wish to. -Yoda

I am more stinky in my armpits as well and I think it's the clay. On the whole it's worth it, although I'd like to be less stinky in the long run.

Seadog, I have no idea if a cemetary is considered auspicious or not. It seems that some advanced practitioners actually seek out cemetaries, so you may be in luck! Any house is just an "atmospheric influence" that's certainly possible to overcome through importing groovy vibes. Speaking of which, I'd also recommend 2x a day meditation/relaxation practice. Also, find a dark black rock. I use black obsidian and I've heard onyx works well too... that helps ground and pull negativity out of the body during meditation or relaxation. I'd also look at a picture of an enlightened soul on a regular basis to help align energies. Nice thread idea, too. Yoda PS, If any taobum wants some groovy Swami blessings, just email me your photo this week and I'll hook you up on the 18th.

Witch, That looks like a great book. Is there a handbook like that out there for the full moon? Yoda -
*Yoda nods sagely and takes another bite of his coconut oil toast.* I'm totally done with my headache. I'll try pascalite in a smaller dosage... that stuff in particular of the three clays A. recommends is the one that draws me to it the most on an energetic level but the one I have the hardest time with. Once the new moon energy is gone, I'll try the water extraction idea. I'm a grounding junkie too... I can *never* get enough... and the clay is nice for that. The humic shale juice seems headache safe, so I'll try more of that today as well. Hopefully, they'll allow me to fly with my clay powder when I go off to see Swami.

MS is often really lyme disease: http://www.lymeinfo.net/multiplesclerosis.html especially if the individual is young. Anything to do with early Lyme, Yoda can heal that... just pm me and I'll walk you through the whole thing. If it's mid to late stage, you have to get a good Lyme literate MD, though. It's still worth contacting me to get started. In this case, I have a "Dr Swami" in Pittsburgh to recommend. It would be my style to find a good doc as well as a good faith/energy healer simultaneously and also to take a look at the Vaastu of one's house too... cover all of the bases. The problem with Vaastu is that it is often extremely expensive to fix certain issues (gotta move). But since money isn't an issue, check out "Victory Through Vaastu" on Swami's site.

fun for parents, check out the comments of this pokeman deck of cards that ended up selling for $142 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...mp;ru=http%3A%2
