Well, I don't know if I'm bowable, but the poo ropes and shopping with kids abilities would be good ones for the local beauty pageant talent show if they accepted guys that is. Maybe they can add a talent show to the Mr. Olympia contest and I could still do well overall despite the fact that I would refuse to wear the gstring thingy.
  2. Sailor Bob ?

If I am thinking of the right guy, Sailor Bob is on youtube.
  3. healers

I'm partial to Swami Kaleshwar kaleshwar.org. He'll be in LA and San Fran in a couple of days. You can meet him for whatever one cares to donate the first day and there's a practice specific empowerment the next day for $1,300... so it can be as cheap or expensive as you'd like. I'll be at the SF one both days. In India, he is a very highly regarded healer. If you like you can email me you or your friend's picture and I could show it to Swami in SF. Yoda PS, I'd imagine Lama Max is a righteous healer too. Maybe Cam could take a photo to show to Lama Max for you/your friend. I'll PM fatherpaul about that too.
  4. Matt Furey has finally lost it

Doesn't seem like the same guy... like he's on drugs or something.
  5. amusing ebay post

Yeah I try to go with a written list, give the kids a couple of positively oriented slogans, and for some reason my 4 year old son, Kell, is somehow not even able to hear me when he's shopping but my almost 8 year old daughter, Freya, can still reach him. So sometimes after a rather successful attack run I'll ask her, for the geezers' sake, to pull him out of the quaking women's underwear rack and encourage him to go after the shoe section for instance. Freya has been lectured a few times by store employees that she realizes that this is guerrilla warfare and caution must be exercised... so I'm lucky it's a pretty rational situation. Plus the troops and I are determined to be in a cheerful mood before we engage in any outings. In any case, Mrs Yoda does the bulk of the shopping with the kids and I have no idea how all that goes. Imho, she has a less evolved mindset but a much more evolved vibe than I do, so I'm sure it all works out.
  6. Kunlun Level 1

Mad Max, Thanks for your reviews and insights!! I'm excited that you will be there. Yoda
  7. Lama Dorje

My other practices are not energetically oriented, so it sounds like I can mix it in... thanks!
  8. I'm happy with how Taobums is growing these days! I was just out there googling away and it always makes me smile to see taobum threads are often one of the only tendrils of knowledge out there on google. It's great to see participation from a growing number of nations and perspectives with lots of information coming together right here. In my next life, I look forward to being a taobum too!
  9. Taobums is doing good.

it's an oldie but a goodie.

Cat, You stepped on my rant button: I'm proud that my kids are the only ones in the store who still know how to have a good time. People should be coming up to them to ask them how they too can crack a smile and laugh a little. If they don't have the the wits about them to appreciate children, then they are beyond my help in this life. I just know that at least they aren't suffering too badly and that they'll have fresh little bodies soon enough and will be having lots of fun too. If it comes to it, I'll tell them to take up the matter with my children directly as I won't. If the kids break something, I'll pay for it... so everyone can relax. I do avoid fine China shops, of course. Why people dislike children and like what's on TV is totally beyond me. I *wish* I knew how to have fun like that... Cat, don't get weighed down by disapproving looks... your kids are the saviours of this planet and their playfulness is the most powerful weapon in the arsenal of happiness. Even though everyone shows the cross sign like they are fending off vampires around them, still putting their happy energy out there is doing a great service. The path that you and your crew are cutting through the jungle of grumpiness is one that these same people will gratefully use in their next life and lives. Yoda
  12. Taobums is doing good.

Our webmasters are beyondananda sexy... Maybe Sean and Lezlie can email a calendar after one's 100th post... I just noticed that at 11:30 pm Sat night Eastern time, there are 143 guests... that's a lot of traffic. Sean... I have a suggestion: I have never been able to get the search function to work with more than one word. I haven't tried doing so for the last few months, but I think a lot of people wash in from google and want more info about a particular topic and so getting a great search function I think is a high priority. Also, I'd love to see a phases of the moon and maybe an eclipse alert as well, but that's of secondary importance... we can find that elsewhere on the net. Yoda PS. I just got "sun gazing" to search but not "sun gazing sperm"... so maybe the limit is 2 words now?
  13. So reading about clays and trace mins has got me thinking about nutritional supplements as a way to rid me of sexy yet unwanted at this time gray hair. (Mrs Yoda actually likes my grays, but Yoda don't. I'll take-it-like-a-man only if I have to.) Found one of those general review sites: http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:v1nCk...cd=10&gl=us With all the basic theories on the subject. The reverse your gray supplements themselves often don't have copper but have iodine, zinc and lots of Bs. Will kick it around.
  14. Clay Supplements

Agharta, I was hoping the clay guru would share his thoughts. If you've tried trace minerals, you've probably done the "humic shale" thing. Re: heavy metals... from what I can glean trace minerals do drive the bad stuff out of the body. Any idea why I might have gotten headaches from pascalite? I dig its energy, so I'll experiment with the water extraction idea as I'd like to be able to take it. So far my trace mins don't seem to deliver a buzz, but I'm off everything but Terramin until I can make sure I've found my headache culprit. Yours, Yoda

    Agharta, ru still raw? Yoda

Sean, Max lives in Hawaii, so I doubt you'd be able to meet with him in LA for a 1 hr session. Maybe you could do a phone session?? Yoda
  17. Clay Supplements

I had misspoke in my above thread. "Dr" Wallach and others who make "plant derived trace minerals" I said soaked clay in water but really it's "humic shale" so rock or clay type of material that was once plant material back in dino days. Supposed to be easier to absorb. I'm taking a few days off or until my headaches clear and then back to the lab. I just bought Vitamin Shoppe brand Colloidal Mineral complex for $13 for a months supply... much cheaper than the others on the shelf. It claims that it does not contain lead or Uranium. ~~~ Max from another thread says that colloidal is better than clay.
  18. Clay Supplements

interesting combo! Also, I like the word 'satisfaction' when explaining trace minerals. It's not quite 'calming' or 'grounding' and it's not quite 'happiness' or 'bliss' but it is a sort of middle ground satisfaction like after eating a nice meal the energies do average out to be 'satisfaction' but in this case w/o a full tummy. I'm just getting over my pascalite headache... phew!!!
  19. more gray hair research

some say genetics, some say nutritional deficiencies, some say stress... maybe a combination. But the nutrition angle is at least an easy one to experiment with. Check out the link in my post above. When I was in my 20s, the 5 tibetans yoga was very effective at reversing grays (the 5T dude says gray is related to the chakras slowing down.) But has been ineffective for me at 39.
  20. Clay Supplements

Terramin has been smooth sailing for me, so far. I dig most of the aspects of pascalite even more but it consistently gives me bad headaches. The Redmond is groovy too, but does have some of the drying properties. I'm taking fish oil, but will experiment with coconut oil too. At least according to the manufacturers, the pascalite and Redmond don't have raunchy trace minerals the way terramin does and the terramin people respond to their emails but not the lead inquiry emails so I'm not sure about my next play... dig the terramin but maybe not for the long run. The quack-yet-may-be-on-to-something Dr. (animal doctor) Joel Wallach sells trace mineral supplements derived from ground up clay soaked in cool water for awhile and then tossing the clay itself from the mix. The pascalite people suggest that the same can be done with their clay... just stir and let it sit for a few hours and you get the same minerals sans the clay... maybe that would work for Trunk's situation. Maybe that would help with my headache thing too possibly... Wallach makes a couple of interesting insights. Firstly: He also says that mineral deficiencies have been much more intensively studied in livestock than in people as animal health has a financial ramification in the same way that human disease is a better money maker and there's not much money to be made in minerals themselves anyways. He also claims that there is at least one study that says taking trace minerals can displace heavy metals in the body after only a few weeks to months... like the body is willing to let go of toxic metals when it gets the more appropriate metal. Also he claims that taking copper can reverse grey hair caused by copper deficiency. Also he claims that even the healthiest diet in America will land you many deficiencies... that the soil just doesn't have the minerals it once did. Like the Terramin people, he claims that the most long lived cultures owe their health and longevity to their unusually rich soils. I read one of his books, and aside from a the above nuggets, it was a ghastly book to the point that I want it out of my house and life the next time the garbage man comes. It's pretty rare that I dislike a book that much. He makes up for the lack of research on his subject matter by talking on and on about nasty situations that he believes are the result of mineral deficiencies. I put him down as three parts quack one part very insightful.
  21. Clay Supplements

So I got my pascalite and Redmond today. The pascalite folks say that even just keeping their clay in your house will be good for you due to groovy vibes. I could feel it so I decided to try Pascalite first but got a nasty headache from it.
  22. Tao Meow's diet

And there is the "Caffeine Advantage" by the same authors... great book, although I don't do much caffeine these days. Anyone remember where the link to Taomeow's diet is... I don't know how I got the idea she ate raw kidneys, but if that's not a part of it, I'd at least like to reread that post. This just jumped into my head: I have a friend of gypsy descent (I forget which nationality that is) and his mom owns a very traditional gypsy cookbook. (incidently, they liked to drink blood straight from a bleeding animal... lots of chi there, I'm sure!!) I'm not making this up, but many of the recipes start out with "First, steal a chicken..."
  23. Lama Dorje

In the game of life, I think bliss is goal number one and shooting lightning bolts is goal number two so at least the emperor had that going for him.
  24. Tao Meow's diet

Doesn't Taomeow eat raw livers and kidneys??? I'd definitely lose weight!!! Good luck with it! It did sound healthy and energy enhancing. Btw, ACV plus neti-ing doesn't cure but definitely helps with allergies in my experience.
  25. Lama Dorje

Cam, I'm in San Francisco to see my Swami Tues/Wed and I need to get back home on Thursday to catch up on business, otherwise I'd totally go. But I've given myself a little motivational deal... if I sell three houses from now till then on non-charity type clients (where I actually make some money), then I feel that I deserve more time off and I'll pop down to LA for the weekend. The goal is a reach, but it's very possible. Then I'll be able to see what's up first hand. In any case, I'm assuming you'll come back with a positive report and I'll have to make it out on another occasion. At first I thought it best not to mix and match lineages but my Swami is pretty chill and Max sounds easy going too, so it shouldn't be a big deal. Yours, Yoda
