Cam, That sounds like a good plan... vibe out the book and go from there. Trunk, why are you taking a break from hanging out with gurus yourself? I'm coming off a 7ish (?) year hiatus from gurus and I think I had overreacted against them. It probably would've done me some good to connect with teachers during that time.
  2. Clay Supplements

I'm so normal? Well then my earthness will be a good ally for me. I've heard the word "Ormus" used before but I thought it was the name of a company that produces trace mineral supplements. So I googled around and here's a relatively even keeled discussion for people like me who need a basic intro: http://members.aol.com/yggdras/paraphysics/BCarter.htm Of course I've been around controversial ideas for so long that I don't really care anymore whether or not, for instance, the human race was created by spacemen who fucked the monkeys. I'm just here to gain some modest amount of grooviness and share it if possible. So I'm fine with the existence or nonexistence of the whole Ormus thing but I think that it is quite possibly true. I also like the image of the spacemen... been away from home for a very long time... landing on earth in need of something warm and furry... a little more short and to the point than the whole Darwin thing, don't you think? And answers the question "why?" too. Yoda
  3. Clay Supplements

I'm not sure what kind of monkey I am... 5/22/68 5:51pm Phoenix, AZ... totally gorgeous. What do you mean by "qualities of the ormus"? Is there really enough macro minerals to brag about in these clays? Thanks! Sonne's feels very pulling and I have the feeling that it might be making me thirsty which is odd as I'm not taking that much of it. No biggie, it won't be a long term thing. Max, my cosmetic bentonite clay had some of the above effects but not as strongly as the Sonne's. I look forward to checking out the other entries. I asked the gal who took my pascalite order if the stuff was all that and a bucket of omega 3 orgasm enhancing chicken but she said she couldn't make any claims and directed me to their testimonial section. That has got to be the lamest bunch of testimonials I've ever seen... They are sweet and all but something my grandmother might have written to Wonderbread Inc. I'm used to reading about tooth chipping braingasms, repelling multiple attackers with one hand, squirting 35 yards, people getting stuck in yoga asanas, etc... Come on, impress me!! If I didn't have Agharta's assurances that I'll soon have a harem of highly motivated sexual partners, I'd click out of their Leave It To Beaver world so fast it'd make their heads spin! (just kidding, I'm sure it's a fine site. I'll just link their testimonial section to this thread and that should get them up to speed.) -Yoda
  4. Lama Dorje

About the Hard Light... my Kagyu lama, Lama Norlha, student of Kalu Rinpoche, said very nice things about Muktananda (sp?). I think the story was the Karmapa met Muktananda and the two got along very well. The Karmapa was pretty picky about the teachings he liked... didn't like a lot about the Dalai Lama's teachings for instance, so it's unusual for a Hindu to get his thumbs up.
  5. Lama Dorje

Come on people... everybody stuck in yoga postures?? You gotta check that out! The fact that he's a nice, approachable guy is a plus. And $300 for two days (!) and air fare is reasonable these days too... Bentonite clay absorbs gamma rays, so just take some of that and you'll be fine.
  6. Lama Dorje

Cam, my vote: Lama Dorje. He's gotten some nice endorsements on this thread and he sounds compatible with what you are doing with the whole 'spontaneous opening' kind of a thing... maybe you could come back as Super Love Bunny? I'm up to my gills in gurus and practices, or I'd check it out too. Yours, Yoda
  7. Clay Supplements

Then I'll interpret it as happening on an energetic level, yes? I haven't been taking Sonne's for 24 hours yet, but I can tell that it has a strong energetic effect... no head chakra/heart chakra activity (which is good), but a sense of 'stability' within minutes of taking some. (after an immediate sense of 'yuck' ) Physically, Sonne's does 'pull' strongly on my mouth which wasn't the case with the cosmetic bentonite clay I had been using. The cosmetic bentonite had induced a sense of stability too, but was more subtle. Ian, that bottle has ad copy verbatim to Sonne's... it's the same stuff. There are UK and French links here: http://www.eytonsearth.org/purchase-buy-healing-clay.php As Trunk said, Sonne's is so strongly 'pulling' one would hesitate to take it daily unless there's a compelling health reason to do so. I'll stick with Sonne's until my terramin comes in and we'll see what that's all about. I'd be fine with something more subtle as a long term thing. I'm doing this while experimenting with fish oil too... My kidneys are wondering what the deal is!
  8. Clay Supplements

Dang, Cuz!! I trust you, but I can't quite figure out the 'how' of all that.
  9. Clay Supplements

So I just picked up Sonne's #7 and will stick with that until my terramine stuff comes in, just in case my external use only bentonite is glitchy. #7 does seem to have a much stronger psychological effect. Trunk and Agharta, have you ever experimented with the whole colloidal mineral thing? I've experimented with silver, to no effect. There was a recent thread about gold being very groovy. Just wondering if some/most/all the benefits of clay is that it's just a good way to deliver trace minerals like other forms of trace mineral supplements? Of course there is the whole detoxing 'pulling' benefits of clay... nice for an occasional colonblow, but probably not the driving force for what Agharta has experienced. For my own life, I'm a cusp geminii born in the year of the monkey... so my life and practice is too all or nothing. I'm hoping that this can deliver more stability to my experience and Trunk and Agharta's posts have been inspiring in this manner. If I can cultivate a stable base, that'll help out tremendously in many other practices which hit the gas a bit like Witch's fish oil, sungazing, standing, retention, etc. I like hitting the gas... but I've become completely gun shy these days which bores me. Obviously, I need to do more than just pop a pill for my karma, but it's still nice to find a little friend when I can. I've experimented with other groovifying mellowing agents like chamomille, theanine, valerian, St John's wort, teas, and magnesium being my favs. These agents do mellow me and give me groovy energy, but I can't handle them long term. Clay seems not to 'mellowize' me but to 'stabilize' and also doesn't mess with my head chakras with the above gang sending too much energy into my already overloaded skull. From my limited experience and this thread, it appears that clay works from the kidneys down. Amaroli also gets an honorable mention in this department, but isn't as powerful at least in the modest dosage that I'm on. Yoda
  10. Clay Supplements

Cat, my normal friends didn't find my discovery edifying, but I'm glad that the insight has been a hit with the bumz! Keep me posted!! ~~~ I'm not very energetically sensitive by taobum standards, but I can definitely feel something from the clay which is distinctive from just colonblowing and I'm happy that Trunk and Agharta have isolated this issue. This could be the kidney holy grail supplement that Trunk has been searching for for years now. It does make the kidney system more peaceful which could be a useful thing. I have terramin on order, but I've been taking cosmetic grade calcium bentonite internally in the meantime. It's made in the USA so I think that should be plenty safe, but I'd be interested in what Agharta thinks about that. Also, mine is a calcium bentonite clay and it seemed to have a drawing effect in the whole colon department but it doesn't seem to be a problem otherwise. I've seen footage of parrots eating clay to counteract nasty cyanide-like compounds in the nuts they eat. There seems to be two issues: the detox effect which I'd imagine would be more powerful in the beginning and the nourishing effect that would also level off after awhile too. Agharta, what's the word about long term use of clays? Cumulative benefits? Trunk, nice work associating mineral sources to clay in Chinese medicine. I have found magnesium to be very relaxing.
  11. Clay Supplements

Agharta, On Eyton's page, I saw a reference to putting the powder under the tongue which instantly changes the aura around the feet as measured by Kirlian photography. Noticed anything along those lines? Yoda
  12. Clay Supplements

Trunk and Agharta, Thanks for unpacking the clay thing. What's the lower jiao? This subject is worth further experimentation on my part too. Agharta, what sort of dosage do you take? Yoda
  13. Age differences in relationship

Just playing around... I did a lot of benching in a past life and so I do have breasts in a manner of speaking. VC, GT popping off a random physical detail like that was a bit weird but there are a lot of weird things said on forums. I try to focus my mind on my favorite aspects of people's posts or joke about it a bit if I need to. On a deeper level, I think that all long time, one on one relationships have their positives and negatives thought patterns and I certainly have had my share of strange little negative thoughts about Mrs Yoda. I think maybe guys tend to be less in touch with our emotions so our negatives tend to be more fetishy in nature. But even though they are quirky and minor they really can add up. At one point, all my thoughts towards Mrs Yoda were negative. Then I met Esther and she suggested that I look in the mirror and sure enough that's where all those thoughts were coming from! Now my relationship is much more positive and becoming more so. When you are 22 those thoughts are just little bugs in the program and not too consequential, but as time goes on they can really add up. So now focusing on people's positives, to the best of my ability, whether at home or on the forum is a point of great importance to me. I've heard it said in the Zen and Tibetan traditions that when you genuinely see people and this world as absolutely perfect in every way, that is enlightenment. Yoda
  14. Age differences in relationship

I'm 39 and my boobs are in great shape... Personally, I find women my age to be the most attractive and most easy to relate to. I do think that there will always be generational differences with the younger generation always more progressive in their thinking, but it's no big deal imo. Often couples with a large age span can vibrationally balance each other out.
  15. Yet more sage words from comrade Trunk. His website is a must-read for anyone doing taoist related practices: http://alchemicaltaoism.com/ Trunk, You mention the importance of an enlightened lineage. Is this a topic you have on your site? Yoda
  16. krill oil

    Carlson's lemon is good.
  17. I can definitely feel the DHA within an hour of taking it. I'm not really doing any taoist sexual practices right now, so I don't have any problems with depression etc, but I do think the fish oil would help and maybe even solve it.
  18. "The Diet" is the Orgasmic Diet available on amazon. The book is the best resource, but Witch has been very generous in her coaching here on this site. Just search for her posts. I think the fish oil will do the trick. At the very least, take a generous dose of fish oil immediately after ejaculation and that alone should really help. Come to think of it, this whole issue may just be a DHA deficiency...
  19. The longer I go the more depressing it gets it seems. I've really backed off from anything challenging in that department right now. Maybe someone will have a helpful suggestion for you. If you are on a two week cycle you might experiment with going lunar and releasing first quarter and third quarter and avoiding sex on the full and new moons as is sometimes recommended in Hinduism as the energy is already crazy enough.
  20. Gambling and the I Ching

It sounds like the Taoist community is $40 poorer...
  21. Gambling and the I Ching

I did an online i ching and it said that you'll come out even and have fun.
  22. Another great thread!!! Drew, I haven't been able to access your thesis, but what do you think of the Confucian music theory? Yoda
  23. Anyone tried Colonblow?

that's a great photo of the mucoid entity in question the above link! Mine didn't hold together well enough to swing around like that, sadly. But overall, it was a joyful occasion.
  24. 2 + 2 = 5

Maytagman, Bagdad is a spiritual place to be right now! Lots of energy there for your practice!! Since you can't go around begging for food these days, a certain amount of income is important and if you are earning too much, I'd just say deal with it. Maybe start a charity, take on a pupil and teach them how to make good money too, or just have fun with it. Knowing how to make money is a real gift and just doing that, I think, is a great service to the vibration of the planet as a whole even if all you do with it is to drive around BMWs. I don't think it really matters that much what you drive, wear, etc. Having money does give you better access to seeing teachers, gaining internet access for cool sites like this, etc. Also, having money can sometimes contribute to an apartment or home which may be more conducive to spiritual practice. So there's a lot of good in what you've already achieved. I was a spiritual nomad first, now I have a job. Pluses to both sides... people who have jobs often want to retire and people who are retired often want more direction to their lives. Is working fewer hours a week an option down the road somehow or taking more vacation time? Sometimes that can be a good meet in the middle solution. -Yoda PS, there is a web based service in the US and Europe for travellers who want to stay for free at people's houses for a night, btw. I forget the site, but it was featured on our national public radio station as a fairly successful operation where both the hosts and the visitors get reviewed like on ebay to ensure that nobody really raunchy can stay in the system.
  25. Anyone tried Colonblow?

I would think you could just use the tube and the bucket in the tub and then with mindfulness of a zen monk make your way to the toilet and go from there. I'm thinking that the clay and psyllium should do the trick. I don't know if I think the Senna tea and the epsom salts are necessary, but they would make the immediate access of a toilet important. Imo, I think the clay and psyllium make the colonics thing an unnecessary production.
