The idea that beliefs and philosophy is meaningless and silly
skydog replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
I am not asking for help, I am making a statement. They are not demonic people, beliefs are part of reality and if one doesnt know certain ideas etc are false no matter how much meditation they do, they will still be affected by their false ideas. Also change is very gradual process sometimes, one can be in a deep state of peace/light etc, and encounter an old situation that normally triggers discomfort, and opt to make new changes, but I find that if there is too much change, or when there is change, it has to by law of nature go back a little bit yin and yang balance kinda thing. -
Sure people who are sensitive, are affected by their surroundings. And in order to justify themselves they may exaggerate this to some extent. But how much of this paranoid sensitivity about things draining them is coming from themselves and their belief system, and how much is "reality" One can change their body with beliefs and intention. FOr example..someone mentioned I had a weakness to "being affected by other peoples thoughts, feelings and desires towards me" and they just shed some light to it. But I notice this mentality, of "Oh everythings draining me" Is this scarcity mentality Paranoid? Is this really in line with living life in a normal way?

Fair enough but there are people on this board who seem to be very experienced in meditation but are constantly saying illlogical things based on illogical belief systems, they know all about meditation but their false ideas still come through in their actions because they dont know its false. -

Can see some truth in most things, and the opposite view usually has some truth. More just making this post for some people who have a particular tendency. Yeh I can see how conceptual thinking can seem innaccurate, but its accurate and innaccurate. Maybe it makes the brain go a bit fuzzy or seems uncool or something, but for example. Someone has the belief that - Meditation is evil. -Its appropriate to kill all animals as a ritual (or some nonsense) someone might be in emptiness but that doesnt mean they wont follow the strong ideas they have. Eg I might be in meditation and believe that there is someone outside and stop, When it was just a belief, so the belief still affected one, and their behaviour. It can seem cool and courageous just taking right action, but is also cool when theres nothing to be courageous about because one doesnt have false ideas which cause them to have to be courageous. -

One is connected to nature Where do you think energy comes from nature intelligent nature raising vibration part of Qigong massive powerful black energy is a demon not just more energy but high vibration energy not always more = high quality every action, thought, affects ones heart which opens and closes the channels most people think thats bullshit but i can feel it happen My hearts like a compass why do you think buddhism, christianity, islam etc talk about morality as a way to find "god" people can be too repressive people can also say moralitys nonsense to jusitfy their own behaviour or not critisize themself the light reacts to ones good deeds heavenly energy comes from this there is a book "buddha hood without meditation" there is an energetic effect of good deeds, not bad ones etc and the idea there is no such thing as good or bad, is an idea relatively true, also untrue if nature doesnt think im learned enough to be immortal then I trust nature maybe thats naive but i find the whole anti life, only immortality is important to be a very negative point of view anti playfulness if immortality exists then it only exists in the present moment spend ones life chasing immortality is illogical. not to put down anyones goals or say you shouldnt do this or that just a non serious mentality about it.

nice post...respect. I remember at one point I thought stress/ working with fears and uncomfortable emotions was the path to growth and development in life, so I worked 60 hour weeks went out all the time, In some ways it was a valid path because I encountered a lot of emotions and experiences, Guess it depends on the intention. Cool stuff -
I wanted to change my bad joke into a nice picture so here you go lol

"99% of the time I walk down a well-known shopping street I get 'Hello, how are you?', 'Excuse me', etc. It is an old scam where locals pretend to be friendly and then take the unsuspecting visitor off to some place they've gotten an agreement with to get a payment in return for bringing in busines" Where is that Brixton, lol?

What High Level Energetic Practices Do You Recommend?
skydog replied to mjjbecker's topic in General Discussion
Sungazing..Immediately opens the third eye Walking in circles around a powerful wise tree Sleeping Qigong- Lie down let ones body go to sleep whilst awake. Imitating animals, ecstatic dance, spontaneous movement- All ancient Shamans worked with this. Intuitive art Being in nature Living a life in harmony with your heart and higher self. Deleting weaknesses, memories, beliefs, past life stuff. Poetry, music, singing. Having a good diet, not too much sugar, healthy organic, prefferably vegetarian or vegan. Decent amount of fruit. Being in tune with the world, balanced etc No porn, limit masturbation, maybe sex depending, no need to be repressive though. Good level of physical fitness- Maybe bodyweight exercise, swimming, jogging, etc- 93 replies

How not knowing ones path could be a much greater form of wisdom and power
skydog posted a topic in General Discussion
In awareness of spontaneous movements, intuitive movements, rupan, shaking medicine etc. One follows the energy and moves with the rythm of the energy, their intuition and goes with the flow. One will find that spontaneous movement practice could be many many times more powerful than other types of practice, because their body knows the way to heal, their body and nature has great knowledge of healing. This includes shaking/ecstatic dance practices After a while ones hands may start to move to sick parts of their body, then other peoples. And this may even sound really "esoteric" or crazy to some, but I assure you its a very normal part of Qigong. Ive been doing it for nearly 2 years. So in these movements one doesnt know the exact neext position the energy tells them to take, but they end up taking the wisest most powerful stance. This could be compared to life, where situations and challenges will give you the wisdom and experience to change ones energy, and the energy of the environment, working in a clever harmony. If one plans every step of the way, then they may be blocking the intelligence of the natural flow of energy which is often much more wise and powerful, similar to spontaneous movements. Not to discredit plans, but not knowing can often be a form of intelligent. As can being very comfortable being very yin, or useless (not that those two mean the same thing). -

Yeh it was a good story with many, lessons. Just that I was peacefully relaxing, minding my business, and whoaa that story was something else lol. Not so sure about levels to be honest. Im pretty sure in spontaneous movements the energy mixes by itself. But yeh would be interesting. peace

Also I dont think Occupy was a fake. It existed in many countries and was never aired on Tv, many people peacefully protested and it created a lot of awareness. I think that could be a little paranoid and a way of justifying inaction (which is common) I was just questioning the elaborate plans in this video seemed funny to me. -
