I used to do this until I read some chinese book on diet saying how too much water is bad for you, anyways I feel like doing this again, my breakfast will be porridge with mixed seeds and honey and fruit/vegetable smoothie I copied this article Water has always been in the center of our lives and is a symbol of life itself. We use it to clean, cook, generate power; we even fill up mattresses with it (and sometimes, balloons). We use water for almost everything, so it’s no surprise that water is a crucial element in traditional remedies, when treating illnesses, and also as a form of therapy. Using water as therapy was practiced during ancient Greece and Rome, and continues to be used in traditional Chinese and Indian medicine today. In Japan and India, the simple act of drinking quantified amounts of water on an empty stomach, is a famous form of water therapy that has been the “go-to” health solution and lifestyle choice for decades. So perhaps youth isn’t found in an elusive fountain after all, but straight from your kitchen tap? Is water all it takes? Apparently so. Instructions are as follows: drink four to six 160ml glasses of water in the morning immediately after waking (you can brush your teeth after), and do not consume anything else – food or drink – for the next hour. After 15 minutes of having your first meal, do not drink or eat anything else for the next two hours. Alcoholic drinks cannot be consumed the night before (and that’s a strict order). As simple (and cheap) as this form of therapy may sound, four to six glasses is a lot – that’s a quart of H2O. Or 1.5 liters. Or three standard-sized bottles of drinking water. Quite a few will find this a challenge at first, and you are allowed to start by drink four glasses first, then waiting two minutes before drinking the fifth, and another two minutes before drinking the last. You may also find that you will need to empty your bladder quite a few times during the next hour, but in due time, this will lessen. Instructions on water therapy are pretty specific even if the actual therapy is simple! Take for example the following therapy durations for some common ailments: constipation (10 days) gastritis (10 days) high blood pressure (30 days) diabetes (30 days) Does water therapy make sense? It’s been proven that water flushes out toxins and hydrates your organs (particularly your kidneys and colon) so that they perform better. See it as quenching some serious internal thirst so that your body (your temple) can operate without the stress and strain of having to battle toxins throughout the day. The benefits of water don’t stop there. Think of all the ads and articles that you’ve seen or read, highlighting the importance of hydration for better skin, increased metabolism, weight loss and even mental clarity. Also recall the time someone said to you “Make sure you drink lots of water!” when you were last ill. There has to be some truth to that! Thoughts, anyone experienced similar, if no experience has been had please retain an open mind before posting and judging, thanks..

edit: going off topic, I think people are merely seeking preferences and healthier lifestyles here.

"ÂŁ350 for a day" Also it is not 350 pounds for a day it is 350 dollars (ÂŁ125) for a three day full workshop and that is with a world renowned master, where you get an authentic lineage transmission worth a lot of effort imo. How much do you think people like Michael who went back and forth from USA to China and put in thousands upon thousands of hours of training required spent? Like I said some people might find the price hefty, I have struggled on a couple occasions due to not working at the moment but I know plenty of people who go to nightclubs and spend ÂŁ30-40 a night, twice a week. Also I do agree with what Michael has said about some Qigong routines serving as mostly calisthenetics and I think there is a valid reason for him saying that. There is that Yi jin jing workshop to China that cost ÂŁ3000 or something? He also has something like 2-300 posts if memory serves correctly hardly only posting to advertise.

I want to make another point if I was a healer had a business etc and I charged ÂŁ1/ÂŁ2 for my services I personally believe no matter how great generous, selfless etc I think I am, people would view it due to other ways of thinking in this society as ineffective and cheap for a reason. I would charge money first of all because I have a life etc nothing wrong with being selfish (although I think those things get less and less after a while) secondly so as when people invest they treat it as valuable, michaels workshops are hefty for some maybe, sometimes, but people spend all sorts of money on ridiculous things so why not spend it on something useful? Some Qigong teacher charge thousands for small workshops, same with all these yoga retreats etc

Personally mate I get the feeling you had some kind of personal issue with this yourself? So I can understand the frustration/annoyance etc etc, but arent you big on the whole non beliefs things...pitbulls, alsations etc etc are also very loving animals at times, and the small ones are occasionally much more vicious, in a taoist society everything is included, peace without security can often be difficult, thats why people shut their doors at night, their are jails etc. I think Im going off topic here, but yeh.

In all honesty my normal practice I do stillness movement is just pure bliss, because unlike most people I just shake non stop, in some ways this is good, in other ways maybe I should ask michael a question lol
-
There is truth to that and I can see where your coming from in the second paragraph but in zen for example they sit through pain/discomfort and dont only cling to good states of mind/feeling, in some ways this is quite healthy imo. Also I definately have practiced when feeling down and have felt much better afterwards..

Thanks with deleting beliefs do you just delete things how they normally do in the yuen method? Havent read that far ahead yet?

I think some masters of Qigong, Neigong, Healing etc who In my opinion really have a lot of experience with healing/teaching have every right to make money with what theyre doing, they need to live in society too and I dont think expecting someone like that to just go and find some office job and do their stuff on the side, their contributing a real service, and just because someone does something for free is nice and all, but it really doesnt mean that everyone should, perhaps there are different intentions with money, and plus people are human beings too, thats taoism.

Also its weird was just laughing about something, changed my thoughts on something and playing with my dog (love) all that heart shit went away...hmm lol

hmmm just sharing some thoughts here. From my perspective maybe you can relate etc. I dont know what is happening to me, Im finding sleep very difficult, and doing spontaneous movements im just pulling sick qi out of my heart wildly, the last few days feel like my ego has died and keep thinking about living a long life etc which is in some ways kind of purifying but at the same time kind of depressing. When you do a lot of practices or whatever and all the shit comes out of your heart, I think thats where it comes from. It probably needs to be transmuted to light otherwises all the opened up can of crap is just floating around your body and depression..I think edit: I guess long life thing is a dream an illusion out of touch with reality
