Forgetting about power and depth, what cultivation systems are most clear and simple?

I am improving day by day in T`ai Chi Ch`uan -
To Marblehead, do you think linguistically, algebraically geometrically, spiritually? Causes of this thread are?

the Huainanzi is from ~139 B.C.E when Liu An summoned 'several thousand guests and vistors, ... including fanshushi (masters of esoteric techniques). An 'inner book' of 200,000 words has been lost for decades. Could the "inner" book be decoded as part of the text itself? There are 21 books of the volume, and I am beginning book five. So, the cause of me thinking that the 'inner' book is actually in the text, is that book 5 seasonal rules, is extremely formulaic. I'm am thinking that might be a key book. While I have an English translation, would it be worth my time to contact the publisher, for this question?

So, Wudang is a higher order than Shaolin: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yi_Long

What there are four gods in heaven? would be a punit's reply, or is it? There are four seasons. and A time to each.

in a good way, lol, nobody's perfect, yet humans can perfect objects... or designs or... creations, otherwise the word would not exist.

ayeaye blog post 1 07/03/2018 I am currently taking steps toward internet independence, hence this blog. For some time, I've been expressing an 'aye aye captain' additude. Being that I live in a Free Nation, and raised as such, I have also lived as if the certain freedoms that I enjoy are equally available to every other member of this free nation. On the world wide web, however, this is not so. There are a vast array of Servers and Clients all interconnected to bring services to the world. Having been a client of the web for my entire life, this is the first time that I've taken steps to serve. About four months ago now, I've sent out a distress signal. A simple ---___--- at the end of a job application claiming that I've been on a researching island. In my research, I have found something that I would like to share with the world. Why light a lamp and put it under a bushel basket? However, I feel the need to share discretely, as if I can answer the door, or choose to keep it locked. So back to the aye aye mentality that I've been living in. While taking Ghandi's quote into account that an eye for an eye would cause the world to go blind, I belive that temptation ought best be resisted. I once had a book. I gave this book to an oriental indian because the book was a series of speeches by swami vivikananda. In on of his speeches, this swami took the stance that the only way to get rid of temptation is to give into it until no longer desire that which you are tempted. The internal conflict of resisting temptation causes the temptation itself. tat vam asi. So, another viewpoint is that of guatama; resist mara (the tempter) though insight; rein your mind and body like a good horse. For a well thached roof keeps the floor dry. How can one serve if the there is flooding in the basement? The actions I take I cannot forsake, spoken from a point of view that takes minimal action in life. Perhaps the undo shortcut is there to remind us all of that idea. So, Jesus would say, "Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit... For out of the overflow fo the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him." MATTHEW 12:33-35 NIV. I translate aye aye as yes yes or oui oui. So if I am always saying yes to every question, am I really doing myself and others good? To live in a reactionary state of mind is troublesome regarless if your react positvely or negatively. So because I think this, I more often than not do nothing, think nothing, and say nothing. Lao-Tzu would say that to speak rarely is natural. Aye aye can also be an expression of exasperation. A solemn mind at peace with him/her self is able to reflect clearly the nature of others. So, the seeking of understanding oneself is necessary fore the wise person may see clearly. Even so, the wise may only be a sounding board for others in distress. Every individual ought have the ability to find their solution; a core ideal termed freedom.

Thanks for the clarification! Could Luotang Mountain be Wudang Mountain?

"don't wallow in self pity, you'll drown" -some basketball coach. I often speak in quotes. For example, from the Huainanzi, we have: "How is this different from the songs of deaf mutes? They simply imitate what others do, but they do not have the means to make music themselves." So hear is another koan, "My advice is, don't listen to other's advice."

Another demo above, I dropped the bit rate of the video. So, Pull energy from the energy center in your palm that is on the piece of paper, and form a bond with the paper.

@Marblehead It also rained last night, therefore there is humidity. It does not hurt to try.

6 seconds this time around. Only can upload 9.28 MB, and I guess the video is larger.

technically, 20 + 20 == 40, yet the magnitude is square root ( 20 * 20 + 20 * 20) or square root (2 * 20 * 20) == 20 * square root (2)

Thanks for the post. Sen. McCain encouraged cooperation among us, regardless of if your pepper's are green, yellow or red. He stood for principle, and fought for something against his party when he took a stance for the health care reform act. I rarely tune in news, so thanks again for posting this; I most likely would not have known.

grab a piece of paper, draw one horizontal line (the x axis), intersect one vertical line (this y axis). the (0,0) point is the intersection between the vertical line and the horizontal line. draw a random dot. connect a line from the random dot to the (0,0) point. draw a second horizontal line through the random dot. draw a second vertical line through the random dot. measure the real distance as the distance between the (0,0) point and the second vertical line intersecting with the x axis. measure the imaginary distance as the distance between the (0,0) point and the second horizontal line intersecting with the y axis.

think of it like this: cos(x) + y * sin(x) [left that y out above] on the x,y plane

Marblehead, back in the day, 3-4 centuries ago, I think, people contrived solutions to problems that were unsolvable. One problem that was currently impossible, and still is, to take the square root of a negative number, so it is labeled i in math, and j in engineering
-
enter euler's formula e^ix = cos(x) + isin(x) since cos(x) + sin(x) defines a circle of radius 1, e is a special number?
-
sorry, my imagination is cyclical. If you were to evaluate e^i what would you have? I thought i = square root ( -1 )
