Has anyone had a personal experience with any of the Hindu Deities?
whitesilk replied to meeks's topic in Hindu Discussion
I took on the Oxford edition of the Kama Sutra after university. It is no longer in my possession. I remember that there were five distinct lineages, and five distinct relationships with those lineages, each 'man about town' would choose differently. I must have chosen to be a 'lover' to 'India', based off my current deduction. -

All that I can claim is that I love and have 'loved' the goddess Krisha in my own life, my own reality, my understanding of it. Please allow the heat to exit from my heart with my own weird humor. I meant no disrespect to your experiences. -

@dwai Where do I begin with the Sikh tradition? My Junior spring my football player friend, who was also my suite mate, went on a semester abroad to Australia. A young man of the Sikh tradition moved in in his stead. At the end of my Junior spring of university, I hung myself with a tie, and wasn't satisfied so I tried a belt a few days later. The only reason that I did NOT hang myself a second time is the prayer of repentance that I immediately spoke upon the tie having broken. BE CAREFUL! -

I just had a realization that Krishna just visited me and took form as my coffee pot. "Need I, need I kneel, need I kneel to your greatness, Mr. Coffee?" -whitesilk speaking to the air. -

I could claim that Krishna is androgynous, having both male and female attributes. I could claim that I've entered into a relationship with a woman with only one breast one night some time ago. I could claim that this divinity has been watching out for me, yet I Worship the God of our Father Abram. -

@ilumairen Thank you for the article. My East Asian Culture teacher had a saying, "The qi goes with the li." In his context, he translated it to 'the energy goes with the virtuous.' What do you think that those monks did after hearing this heart wrenching story? Did it change their idea of us westerners? Or do stories like these change our western viewpoint of eastern monks? -

suspense halted, ViYY on the attack again.

I'll give way and halt the suspense of my poem. It describes an event when I was on my porch watching a wild rabbit eat grass. I sensed that I was bothering it, as it was only about two yards away, so I dropped the tobacco out of my pipe, and went inside. When I went back out, there was a branch at the place where I left the tobacco, and the tobacco was gone. I did it again, upon finding another branch on my porch, and now the tobacco is still there. Where did the wild rabbit go?

In junior high, I adopted the meditation that was explained to me at a Christan youth retreat: Picture your mind like a tree, and your emotions like the birds flying around it. The nasty birds may come and land on your tree, yet you have the ability to let them nest or just wait for them to fly away. I think that this meditation has helped me alot to reprogram my subconscious. Our conscious thoughts may re work some of the inner workings of our brains, for me I am trying to deduce why I've been waking up with a different song stuck in my head each morning. This morning's song relates to affection:

I've heard of them, yet looking back on my university years, I was dead to the sea, and am proud that I remained dead to the sea until I got to real life.

I'd be smushed by a machine: Just sort of checking things off of my to-do list: 4) brew some coffee. 1) Prevent robot apocolypse. 3) Do the dishes. 2) Cook lunch. Did I get the order right?

My point exactly, Admin, can I report @voidisyinyang as a fraud?
-
Try again, I do not sense a Taoist context that you are actually human, I sense hegemony. Here is my rebuttal poem. "Out of the corner of my eye, Did I spy your grey furry coat. I let you eat your dinner of green, in peace did I give you some brown, from the pipe in my hand, I layed it down. Upon my return, did I find, a wonderful gift." What animal am I referring to @voidisyinyang?
-
My first call out is @voidisyinyang defend your humanity in verse form. write me a poem.
-
From cite 24 above @Taoist Texts We are fine, you just confirmed my point that those in charge of everything in politics are those in charge of everything in politics.

Remember that the Gospel is different than the Bible as a whole. In the Gospel, there are many parables which are transparent enough to be figurative.
