  1. Light and Dark

Right now I am 'having a kick' in the labeling of positive and negative areas of time. I perceive time linearly. The ebb and flow of a positive, creative, light time and a negative, dark receptive time has helped be to find center amongst change.

Intent aside, you are feeding corporate hegemony.

In time's context, the positive spaces of worship balance the other negative spaces.

  6. Similarities among religions

I do value your input @voidisyinyang, yet would like to add my own. I personally thought of the chart of inner alchemy: There are five yin yang symbols in the lower right of the image, four vertical and one horizontal, which represent a sanguan or barrier against wasted energy. Each individual yin yang supposedly represents an element, earth, air fire, water, and the fifth quintessence.
  7. Similarities among religions

My guess is that in ancient days humans cultivated grain to begin culture as we know it. After settling, early laziness started. With extra time on the advanced monkey's mind, it was able to pursue becoming the chief monkey in the area. Thus bloodshed occurred via slavery and conquering. Balances of power are difficult to abstractly imagine. The reward of the afterlife may have been a myth, told to him or her by his or her nearest monkeys, to keep the chief monkey from harming other monkeys. The idea being that, sure we cannot restrain or reward you as chief monkey because you will not allow that, so if you do good now as chief monkey, perhaps when you pass on you will be born as chief monkey again, and again, and again. I, personally, take Jesus Christ as my savior. I know I am a dumb monkey, He is my power, my strength, and my eternal life.

  9. Praise and Worship

As a devout Christian, I am comfortable saying and writing the phrase, "Praise Amida Buddha." To me it comes down to the ideological differences between the terms praise and worship. The main one being that worship involves the idea of devotion, praise does not. I Worship Jesus Christ, therefore am devoted to him. I have knowledge of other deities that I believe are good, so I Praise them. Does this delineation help others? Am I being too minute in my faith? Should I just loosen up? My own initial answer is no, I have one life to lead, best for me to do it right.

  12. The closest rationalization that I can make for you @Arkx6, is that taoism praises the formless over form. The physical scientific reality of the atoms that make up matter is very turbulent on a microscopic level, yet also, there is empty space within matter on a microscopic level. The small negative spaces are gaps in the positive spaced reality. Those gaps allow for change. To help your family, focus on, in my own opinion, what you don't see about their lives. You do not live their day to day reality. Your headaches as you say could be the cause of an overactive desire to help those you are connected to.
  13. In high school football, I was strong and silent. I led by example through prayer. I was 'programmed' to win by the head coach, whom I looked to as a father figure at the time. It's complicated, all I can reliably say is that we both share a love for Jesus Christ. Winning isn't everything. There is wisdom in a loss.

Take a cosmic approach to time: https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/48615-calendar/?tab=comments#comment-871552 My 'idea' for you is that your lucid 'nightmare' is a failed I Ching transition. For some reason or another you were leading yourself into the path of destruction and your life is reflected in your 'nightmare.' I recently had a lucid dream of the most joyful, and crazy, wedding ceremony that I could never have predicted. It even ended with ancient birds hanging in a cage on my me and my beloved's back porch. For some reason in my life, I want to experience this dream, I just am unable to realize it in my conscience reality.

At what point will we hit the 'chain reaction,' and sink under the sea like atlantis? https://phys.org/news/2019-02-molecules-light-triggered-catalyst-ensemble-bells.html I think that this is a greater threat to humanity than our conservational efforts.

  21. True Christianity vs Convenient Weakness

I did some word research on the verb 'blaspheming.' It was first used in the 14th Century, most likely as a barbarian tongue root. To most abstract way to identify the verb is to define it as, 'to place your blame upon.' So deconstucting the language as such reveals a logical reverse argument. Belief in Christ == forgiven = a Blame Holy Spirit == not forgiven = b Blame God the Father == unknown = c Taking a rational, known approach of the language that I would prefer to be forgiven by Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God the Father, Item a of this riddle would yield an overruling of items b,c because of my belief that the three are one. Therefore, a non belief in item a would yield truth to items b, and c. My statement that: ]be forgiven] implies a non belief in item a. So again looking at the language, it may not be separate in meaning or justified by context.
  22. True Christianity vs Convenient Weakness

It finally just clicked. I have been nervous about this issue because I have talked down upon those that speak in tongues as too 'far out' for my tastes. Those that take Jesus Christ as their savior can be forgiven. Those that only believe in the Father or the holy ghost cannot. I would like to hear other's thoughts? Technically I wasn't blaspheming because I did not speak evil of speaking in tongues, just that I doubted it's reality at the time.
