I have a study bible, and I'll start with the footnote for Isiah 14:12-14, "There are sever interpretations for the fallen one in these verses (1) He is Satan, because the person here is too powerful to be any human king. Although Satan my fit verses 12 - 14, he does not fit well with the rest of the chapter. (2) This could be Sennacherib or Nebuchadnezzar, kings with supreme power. Their people looked upon them as gods. These kings wanted to rule the world. (3) This could refer to both Satan and a great human king, possibly Nebuchadnezzar, because Babylon is pictured as the seat of evil in Revelation 17, 18. Pride was Satan's sin as well as willfully opposes God and will result in judgment. Israel made the mistake of being too proud to depend on God, and we are vulnerable to that same mistake." EZEKIEL 26:7 NIV "For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: From the north I am going to bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses and chariots, with horse man and a great army."

Neither, just a cute saying reflecting upon current American Republican policy toward Mexico.

No offense, JFK was a jelly dough nut.

@Aetherous I've been pondering this issue within my own soul for years, this being the first time I've voiced it online. Just looking at the language of the verse, it could refer to gender issues and have no exact relation to light / dark. I am somewhat familiar with Hebrew custom, and marriage rites include some sort of stepping across a 'threshhold' doorway or barrier I believe, yet am unsure as I am not Jewish.

That is the sickest cruelest video that I have ever witnessed.

@Zen Pig The first thing that I've read about being a watercolor painter is that one does NOT want followers. Heartbreaking or joyful moments can be recorded with a paintbrush. I once saw a dragonfly give birth. I was walking down a path near my home and noticed a dragonfly flying in circles. After about three loops, a small dot flew to the trees. I sketched up the moment right when I got home. My experience can be communicated visually, yet my style remains my style.

I seem to remember something in the book of Matthew about the abolishment of marriage.

Ephesians 2:14-15 NIV "For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace,"

The latin term for 'morning star' is lucifere or bringer of light.
-
Isiah 14:12 NIV "How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!" Rev. 22:16 NIV "'I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.'"

Is this the word? Where have you gotten this verse? The gospel of thomas? Where is an actual transvestite Christan? I would like to meet one.

Under the lion's den explore the temple of whom? Perhaps Gertrude Stein in Bryant park holds the key.

I've read an article that the "right" brain refers to our cerebral brain (the one inside our cranium). Our energy center's have brain's of their own as focused ganglia. The "left" brain in this context would refer to the lower brain or the ganglia of the lower tan-tien.

So my interpretation is that yin and yang (the children in the water) represent the lower legs of the human body (the water element). Our energy may drain to water and is wasted if not caught by the of the three barriers or sanguan. One further note is that our hands as humans do respond to heat quicker than our feet. Take a warm bath with an even temperature of water and feel the difference between your hands and feet. In my experience, my hands felt warmer even though my feet were closer to the hot water.

Looking at the image, below the four pictured yin yang symbols is a horizontal cylinder.

Thank you for that Image Bindi! I've read descriptions of the image before, Would you describe the four yin/yang or tai chi tu symbols near the ox?

The centers of energy at the centers of the palms respond quicker to heat than the balls of the feet. Our soles are connected at the ankle, yet I hope than Ann is well.

Do you have an I Ching? Kan over Li? Quotes taken from ISBN-10: 0-691-09750-X Kan: "the Abysmal is full in the middle." Li: "the Clinging is empty in the middle." Chi Chi: "The Judgement After Completion. Success in small matters. Perserverance furthers. At the beginning good fortune, At the end disorder."

Question: Is it the advent of technology in the 'digital age' or our that we are being made aware of technology?
