IF SOMEONE .................... designed some kind of wilderness temple ......... made out of local materials ........... would anyone go there to be a "monk" .....? (preferred location - ocean coast ...) could you attract teachers ...? could you design a good activities guide for those who like that, and some independent retreat for those who prefer this? reason for this post : western world lagging in creative spirtitual retreat projects. sort of like the India ashram model. ashrams a plenty. state of mind. places to go and contemplate. so easy so natural. anywhere.

it might be a good idea to do a stealth post here. it's about the work of robert allen stewart. he has described in depth the processes that take place in incarnating beings, and the levels they incarnate to and what goes on and why they go there and the lessons they learn and what lessons are next, the whole emotional sub stratum of the choice made and the experiences gotten, and the why and how of it. well he does mention something called the Base Soul which is the core identity across all the incarnations. and then he mentions the soul as it enters materiality, takes on, if it "holds" to that form and survives ... a discrete local identity that is linked up to the mind of that time and place, and to the others in the group this soul is born into. this ties into the idea of "am I really free to think all of my own thoughts"? the person likes to think they are ultimately free, of course. to think what you choose to think is a wonderful basis for freedom of identity. but really how free are you. when you take into account that many of your thinkings are remarkably similar to those of many others you have to wonder a bit. so this is the social mind here. it is the me that is also connected to the we and how much is really me there? maybe a %? who knows. the obvious task of the hermit is to sequester herself/ himself so as to achieve and near perfect or ideal comprehension of uniqueness of mind, ownership 100% of her own his own mind. how much of that is possible. with social mind you are always thinking group stuff. like the sports scores and who won and who is in the next game etc. very social. back to RA Stewart. this is deep study of between lives and choices and reasons for incarnating. he spends a lot of ink on the animal kingdom as he feels that all humans have had to grow out of that region before becoming folks. and all the reasons for those incarnations, the lessons learned. the teeth mostly.... in the case of small varmints who unfortunately often became a meal for a bigger animal. seems there is a lot of that stuff, like almost seldom reaching immortality among the smaller varmints on account of the bigger cats and stuff like that. well, about being free to think your own unique thinking, maybe the idea is to move past thinking anyway. thoughts are part of the social mind mix and the ideal practitioner is looking for the formless place, the wordless idealess place where pure stuff stays and sips and sits around and wastes time, that kind of deal. which is why I guess hermits spend all their time doing stuff to become clarified and this has nothing to do with logically pleasing city folks does it now. in their next life where do they go? well one thing they probably know the folks who escort the souls to those places seeing as they get to know why they chose that body and what their task was and what the next tasks are. they say that being helpful is a big part of it. if you practice on your own and try and do magic stuff without helping others much, you're going to be a certain kind of person but not maybe the highest kind there is. hey too much yakking here. enough already. ___________ ps. true priviledge in using net to converse with beings like gerard & zerostao ....

I would say those curses are quite all right in a varied perspective, that being the perspective of .... one condition ......... there is plenty of wine present. also the spiritual ambition becomes placed upon some clear paper, the kind you're able to cut and paste and make mashay out of. the second link there (Vetsch) is so full of brilliant original material.... you honsestly don't know where to start. it's like a documentary on the matrix movie, except it is saying where the situation is such, with references and examples. this graphic for example, the N Cycle. I have NEVER seen this anywhere before, and when I first grokked it, I knew it was a brilliant construct, so simple and elegant. it was so original. but in fact this fellow's [writing] is full of these genius constructs. the only issue I have is that his final analysis is so distopian, whereas I think that a basic feature of spiritual free will is the actual possibility of ascension to whatever levels are sincerely sought after. and thus, the outcome is very good. paradise no less, if SOUGHT AFTER fully. but ... that is assuming spiritual free will. WCV actually posits and illustrates cases where he finds that blockages occur due to the actual designs / intentions of the darkside forces. in ways that infiltrate the very structures of spiritual organization. picture darth sidious planting traps in theology to keep his empitre under his iron grip. that is the picture that wcv paints .... despite that, he also illustrates the Vectors that he feels are operative in the unseen dimensions. it's too deep for a cursory remark. it needs to be studied well, by serious analysts.
